Blood Aspects:
Prospit Blood: Calisto: One of the moons of Jupiter, but also one of the victims of Zeus. After forcefully bearing his child, she was turned to a bear. The myth goes that her son, having grown up, kills her, none the wiser the blood relation. Calisto remembered him the whole time… Her story literally breaks my heart. The myth survives as Calisto is one of Jupiter's moons along with the other moons which are similarly named for his "lovers".
Derse Blood: Bamberga: The Bambergs were a long, legendary dynasty of supposed magicians from olde Germany. The connection to blood and lineage is perhaps what inspired the tales of Faust.
Breath Aspects:
Prospit Breath: Actaeä: Actaea was a Nereid, or a water nymph, daughter of Nereus. The symbol also denote the lesser known moon of Salacia.
Derse Breath: Actaeä: Actaea was a Nereid, or a water nymph, daughter of Nereus. The symbol also denote the lesser known moon of Salacia. This is an alternative sign for Actaeä.
Doom Aspects:
Prospit Doom: Charon: The ferryman and psychopomp of the River Styx and Acheron, the Greek underworld. He ferried Herecles and Aeneas, famously.
Derse Doom: Kerberos: The three-headed dog that guards the entrance and exit of Hades, the Greek underworld. Cerberus is another, more common name.
Heart Aspects:
Prospit Heart: Titania: Queen of the Faeries of literary Elizabethan mythology. She appears as a patron of fertility and love alongside her husband, the Faerie king, Oberon. Featured in the famous 'Midsummer's Night's Dream' by Shakespeare.
Derse Heart: Oberon: King of the Faeries, and popular mythological patron to love and fertility. He, alongside his wife Titania, appear famously in Shakespeare's Midsummer Night's Dream.
Hope Aspects:
Prospit Hope: Hi'iaka: Hiʻiakaikapoliopele is the Hawaiian patron goddess of hula dancers, chant, sorcery, and medicine.
Derse Hope: Miranda: Named for a character from Shakespeare's The Tempest; she was Prospero's and hopeful daughter-- being that she was exiled when she was three, she was very naive.
Life Aspects:
Prospit Life: Dione: A Greek oracle goddess. She is usually either the thirteenth Titan, or as an Oceanid.
Derse Life: Rhea: The Titan god, and mother of Zeus. She famously hid Zeus from her husband Chronos, making way for the age of the Olympians, and thus, the titanomachy.
Light Aspects:
Prospit Light: Ariel: Uriel, a biblical arch-angel; Ariel a gnostic demiurge; a sky spirit that appears in Shakespeare's The Tempest, serving Prospero. Also appears in that fuckass angel-engine ai analogue horror shit as the titular angel in the engine or fucking whatever.
Derse Light: Hyperion: The titan who begot Helios, the Greek god of the son. He and Helios are often prosaically substituted for 'sun' in poetry throughout the ages.
Mind Aspects:
Prospit Mind: Ganymede: A doomed mortal lover of Zeus. He was carried away by Zeus in the form of an eagle.
Derse Mind: Vanth: A chthonic goddess of Etruscan origin.
Rage Aspects:
Prospit Rage: Dysomnia: The offspring of Eris, greek god of strife, Dysomnia embodies lawlessness and anarchy.
Derse Rage: Deimos: The Greek embodiment of fear itself.
Space Aspects:
Prospit Space: Hephaestus: The sign of the hammer denotes the great Greek god of the forge. A creator god, and a more-than-skilled artisan.
Derse Rage: Enceladus: A giant, slain by Athena in legend. His body is said to be hidden under Mt. Etna. Giants like him are said to be the cause of earthquakes and volcanic eruptions.
Time Aspects:
Prospit Time: Zoozve: Borne from an astronomical misunderstanding, this symbol truly means nothing more than a quai-satellite of Venus, of which, does not even exist anymore in TBS5 Earth C.
Derse Time: Iapethus: A confusing figure; conflated with one of the biblical sons of Noah, he is of Greek origin.
Void Aspects:
Prospit Void: Cybele: A mother goddess considered mysterious, and possibly one of the deities depicted at Çatalhöyük, otherwise known as one of the oldest major archaelogical sites ever, and one of the first evidence of an organized religion.
Derse Void: Io: A supposed lover of Zeus; though she reared many, many famous heros (Perseus, Herecles, Cadmus, Minos, etc. just to name a few), but her role is diminished.
My Extended (Extended) Zodiac
I made this for my ttrpg game, Firewalker.
These ones are basically used for the humans. You know how the trolls all have their own unique signs for their patron aspect and swing? so do humans do now.
On TBS5's Earth C, humans and trolls live in relative peace!!
All of these signs are based on Denis Moskowitz's New Astro Symbols.
All these symbols have mythological meanings, and I chose them specifically for those aspects and swings!!

I am happy to formally post about BlinkieWiki (@ https://blinkie.wiki ), a website built on TiddlyWiki & hosted on NekoWeb that's an (ongoingly) searchable archive of blinkies as well as other types of graphics! A big goal here on top of exhaustive transcription is to source the original creators of graphics whenever possible, something which is often missing in collections.
I've mostly been doing this solo so far with lots of help from my boyfriend @vesselvindicate for finding websites. I'm opening this up to the blinkie community because I've now added a way for users to submit metadata for graphics, which is handled through Google Forms. That way, anyone can contribute to the collection! Just click on any blinkie and hit the button in the top right corner that says "Submit metadata for this graphic".
This site is a big work in progress! It is only somewhat mobile friendly at the moment and is prone to lag. The UI in places is a bit ugly, but I'll be making it look better over time. There's a bunch of other features I'm aiming to add as well.
This was heavily inspired by the Geoblinkies project by blinkies.cafe, which I helped work on back in 2022. You should check it out!

I've been having a very difficult few years, and a very, very difficult past couple months, but it's always nice to have a place to come back to. Happy 4/13
