1978 Mercury Grand Marquis
The 1978 Mercury Grand Marquis was the final year of Mercury’s full-size luxury flagship before downsizing took effect. Built on Ford’s massive body-on-frame platform, it offered a quiet, plush ride with traditional American luxury touches. Powered by a smooth 400 or optional 460 cubic-inch V8, the Grand Marquis delivered effortless cruising. Exterior styling included a formal roofline, hidden headlamps, chrome trim, and signature opera windows. Inside, it featured deep-padded velour or leather seats, woodgrain accents, and all the power amenities of the era. The ’78 Grand Marquis remains a symbol of late-‘70s opulence and road-dominating comfort.

I love my fellow objectums but the computer lovers have dominated the objectum tag and I would love to see more unique attractions.

I am NOT a d*te ev*rything discourser (censored to keep out of search results) but imo you CANNOT say you're "inanimate object posting" and then only post about the humanized versions. That's animate. By definition.

Stitching these three scenes from different episodes together bc I wanna be able to post them all at once. Guy who loves his carrrr (and car who loves his guy). They're literally cute. You have to understand this.

I say this tooooooo often and you guys really should tell me to shut the hell up. But completely honestly I think objectums who are into living/sentient machines would really enjoy Knight Rider (specifically the original 1982-86 series). One of the two main characters is a talking car. Not in a transformers way. Not in a disney's cars way. Literally just a car that talks (and has a bunch of fancy tech and such). The other main character treats him in ways I can only describe as feeling very objectum/posic. It's kiiiind of cheating bc he's sentient anyway, but you get the point. There is a VERY solid chance this show was what really kickstarted my own objectum journey. I know it's an 80s crime drama that can be pretty hit or miss, but it's good I swear. Just watch it for that man and his car instead of the crime show stuff. It is literally available free on internet archive.
