Inktober 2…ish.  This was the one I was doing for the prompt ��Tranquility” but I kind of got hit by the new meds and I still haven’t quite adjusted yet–pretty much any time I’ve been home the past two weeks, I’ve been in bed sleeping.  Last Sunday I think I was only awake long enough to eat and go to church.  I tried fooling with some masking fluid for this, but I think that’s the sort of thing I really need to commit to, instead of just hoping.  

My headcanon has always been that Dufresne isn’t much more than a decent sailor, but that within a week or so of being on the Walrus he realized he actually does love it.  (It’s also the only possible explanation for him still being around in season 3, other than “the show writers forgot that he’s an accountant, not a fighter, and doesn’t really have a reason to want to be a pirate hunter when he could just Go Home.”) (and also billy. he loves billy. shh, quiet canon)

…funny thing, I know I’ve slept on a boat before, did it a lot when I was a kid, but I can’t remember if we were ever actually out on the water and not tied up at the dock when I did.  I’d love to see the stars at sea.
