i remember about a year ago during the stephen hawking/epstein situation I saw a tweet that said that people were joking about it because it was little girls getting raped, if it were little boys, it would be taken much more seriously.

I finally understand what she meant

terrifer is the worst "horror" film i've ever seen. there is no horror, there is no plot, there are no characters. it's all just setpieces for obscene violence.

the first omen? now that's a proper horror film and proof that only women are capable of horror

we take the small enjoyments that we are able from male centric media (which is most media) but the moment something different is made they claim straight male oppression

and then they call us misogynistic for preferring male characters in stories where the only woman is the pornified love interest

I can't fucking enjoy any popular media, everyhting is centered around males, some great story potentials have been wasted on misoginistic naratives and some great fandoms have been overshadowed by men misunderstanding the story.

Like wow death note is a captivating premise and one of the better animes out there, but it is almost unwatchable because of the misoginy.

Attack on Titan is a great show but the fandom was completely ruined by incels.

Breaking bad was completely misunderstood and taken over by misoginistic dumbasses.

And so many other great shows that I'd like to engage with but I'm just expected to look past the blatant misoginy because it is what it is and I shouldn't be a killjoy over it, meanwhile men will throw a tantrum if a female character has some muscle or doesn't look like a pornstar, god forbid she is the main character. the massive crybabyism going on right now about men not succeeding in schools especially post secondary schools is wild to me because...

women will attend school while pregnant, taking care of children and elders. they will miss classes to caregive and work long hours to pay for someone to watch their dependents while in school. and still fucking graduate.

women will take on the chores of their bum ass dads, brothers, boyfriends, and male roommates and still fucking graduate.

women will get raped and be in abusive relationships and pick themselves up and still fucking graduate.

meanwhile men will cry and moan about how the education system is unfair to them because big strong manly men need to run around instead of being expected to sit at their desks and read. boo fucking hoo.

Libfems who are pro-prostitution/pro-“sex work” think that the issue with prostitution is the conditions, so they want to ‘improve’ those conditions. They want prostitutes to have the protection of labor laws and to be able to go to their job just like if they were going into the office.

And while the conditions are horrible, that isn’t the sole issue. There’s ‘sex workers’ who live in nice penthouses and always have food on the table and dress in Gucci and I am still against ‘sex work’ in their cases because I am against sex being a commodity. I am against women being a commodity.

A prostitute could be protected under labor laws, live in a nice house, have set hours, and never have to work with abusive pimps ever again and they’re STILL VICTIMS. They’re still going to be traumatized and hurt because selling sex is traumatic no matter how much you corporate-fy it.

And libfems do not understand this perspective because they think the problem is prostitutes working in subpar conditions when the problem is prostitution’s whole existence.

So why are men not LINING the blocks to have sex AND get paid for it at the same time? It's win-win! It's empowering, right!?!?Why do lonely incel men go to brothels to be sex-buyers and not prostitutes when they would get paid for it?!?
