Exactly! I love the entire thing SO MUCH. But that intial dive into the Inkworld remains so prominent in my mind

Am I the only person that enjoys Inkheart way more than the other books? I loved that it was set in this world, for some reason when it shifted to the Inkworld it doesn't do it for me :/

Yep I see where loving inkheart the most is coming from. It's truly a masterpiece and is hard to beat! It really stands alone too.

Though my favorite is Inkspell I think. After hearing about the Inkworld in Inkheart the entire time (and someone who adores Dustfinger of course), finally entering the Inkworld was just amazing. I fell in love with it's vibe.

To me it's very lively, very familiar and colorful. And then somehow super dark. And crafting that in a 'children's book' is so hard to execute and Cornelia mastered it.

And the introduction to the new characters and magic and ways things work just have a special place in my heart. I really do love them all and anyone I don't love I hate (which is good! Like Basta). The Adderhead felt like such a threat when was introduced.

Also I was sobbing uncontrollably when Dustfinger sacrificed himself.

Anyways a few things: will not think about best attire or whatever bcs idc. I researched the tribal marks and hope they are correct. I chose to have them on a cowboy horse bcs 1. Color identification 2. Kiss whole thing is/was kinda to shock with makeup and dont give a fuck about whats 'correct' so I imagine taking the tribal marks despite being cowboys fits ??? (disclaimer: I am against appropriation of any kind, this is for the purpose if the art itself)

I also completely traced over stuff bcs I will not do this by scratch. The other pics are attached too.
