It’s the stuff of fairy-tales. From the name to its somewhat strange appearance to even its purpose, it’s far from impossible to believe a fountain can grant your wish. Even so, Aqua tosses a coin into the water and watches as it sinks to the bottom with the other people’s wishes. Her wish was something she’s longed for the longest time. And maybe, just maybe, this fountain could help that wish become reality.

She holds her hands close to her chest as wishes with all her heart.

I wish... To be with my friends again.

Aqua takes a deep sigh as she moves to sit on the stone edge of the fountain. She gazes up at the clear blue sky, wondering if her friends were well. If she was able to be out of the Realm of Darkness and wind up here, could they possibly wind up here too?

If only.

When she looks back at the trees around her, she sees a young woman with pink hair wander around the area. She paces around for a bit, probably to distract herself.

“Um, excuse me,” Aqua calls out to her, “Do you want to sit here with me?”

Wouldn’t hurt to make a new friend.

The busy crowd that frequented Buckanan Street had their eyes on Aqua the very moment she summoned her Keyblade. The flash of light and the quick appearance of Master’s Defender was enough to make the audience ooh and aah at the sight. She twirls the Keyblade for a few moments before tossing it into the air. Once she catches it by the hilt, she holds it up high and summons an array of bubbles that shoot out from the Keyblade’s tip. Several bubbles circle around the audience until they start to pop one after another, leaving nothing but small shimmering sparkles until they completely fade.

Then, Aqua gives a short twirl before pointing her Keyblade at the audience and shoots out seven different rays of colored light. Each one swirled around the crowd until they all soared straight into the sky until colliding together to create one brilliant firework. She bows as the audience applauds at the sight and start to go back to looking through the other sights Buckanan had to offer.

She was taken aback by the red-haired woman still standing around after the crowd had dispersed. It was the first time that someone had stayed after her performance and though it made her happy, it also left her a bit flustered. She couldn’t help but wonder why she stayed, though. Maybe she wanted to talk to her?

Regardless, Aqua approaches her and gives a small bow. “Thank you for seeing my show,” she smiles as she dismisses Master’s Defender from her hand. “I really hope that you enjoyed it.”

The other performers that frequented Buckanan Street each had their own outshining talent. Whether it was showcasing their skills or simply performing a song and dance by themselves, Aqua marveled at each and every performer she saw. There was never a dull moment in these streets and she loved that most of all.

As she continued down the bustling streets, she overhears a violin a bit further down. She quickens her pace to find whoever was playing it only to find a huge crowd of people circled around the performer. Aqua waits patiently at the end of the crowd, listening to the tranquil song the violinist performed. She closes her eyes and instantly feels at ease the more she focuses on the tune. 

She’s soon pulled back to reality as the crowd starts to applaud and cheer once the song finishes. Aqua claps for a moment and waits for the crowd to disperse before going to approach the violinist.

“I hope I’m not bothering you, but I wanted to tell you that your song was absolutely breathtaking. I wish I found you sooner to hear your whole performance.”

Yeah! I don’t know how they did it but they might’ve even used some magic on us to make us forget!  I know of a few spells like that myself! Tee hee~

[Being a dark mage who specialized in such occult arts, he knew all manners of spells to make others suffer in many ways but even then, there were spells that he didn’t know how to use since they were more specific to some sorts of wizards.] Though I can’t understand how they are able to suppress my magic in any case.

[The real mystery that Henry couldn’t understand was that. How did they manage to suppress everyone’s powers. There didn’t seem to be any kind of spell around or sigils all around the city that could cast a huge area-of-effect spell that could negate magic around the place so how was it possible?

"Maybe it's the effect this world has on us..." Aqua muses to herself as she immerses into her deepest thoughts. Would that mean her spells and abilities were negated her as well? What about her armor? She reaches over to the piece of armor on her right arm and attempts to activate it. When nothing had occurred, she gave it another try, only to be met with the same result. She began to grow frustrated. Without her armor, she can't travel outside of this world and into others. Was this the mastermind's plan?

"Do you need anything in order to use your magic?" Aqua asks Henry. "Such as spell books or any other specific weapon?"

A giggle erupts from Aqua's lips when she sees the boy reach for something that's obviously not on his head at the moment. "Pardon my intrusion, but are you a magician?" Judging by his outfit, he could possibly be one of Yen Sid's pupils, yet it could also be out of the question, seeing that she has never heard him talk about a boy like him before. Then again, he could hail from another world. It was nice to meet new people from different places. Maybe one day she can visit all these worlds when she ends the current chaos here.

Her Keyblade disappears from her hand as she starts to answer his question, "Yes, it was. I know a a few spells here and there, but it looks like I'm going to have to regain the ones I'm missing somehow." Basic spells she could use, luckily, but any strong magic she had before was completely gone. Even more relieving was the fact that she could still summon her Keyblade, which was just enough for her.

"Can you use magic as well? I'm curious as to what kind of spells you can utilize and how you can do so."

Had his face acted of its own accord? He couldn’t figure out why she was apologizing if he hadn’t brought anything up, but maybe she was just overly sensitive to that kind of thing?Roxas decides to ponder it later; he didn’t need his face doing anything else to betray him. "You didn’t do anything. I just have one of those faces, I guess. It’s not the first time." he decides it’s better to brush the incident off than make a big deal about it, especially since the person she sought obviously wasn’t here. So long as that was true…it would probably be okay. What mattered most now was that she’d confirmed that she was from his world—and a keyblade master? That was…well, he decided to brush that off as well. It meant she was strong, and that’s all he needed to know. No point in associating her with the only other keyblade master he knew who he also happened to hate a great deal. Ventus—he didn’t recall the name consciously, but it did sound familiar. Question was, should he bring it up that he’s pretty sure he heard the name somewhere or keep quiet? This woman wasn’t his friend, so he wasn’t obligated to tell her the truth. Still, she seemed well-intentioned enough… He sighs, folding his arms behind his head. He’s almost disappointed that he can’t help.

"Pretty sure I’ve heard it before, but I’m afraid I can’t help you out more than that. Is Ventus your friend or something?" 

That's alright." There was no reason to be upset over Roxas not knowing much about Ventus to begin with. He's been more than enough help bringing back her memories bit by bit. "Yes, he's one of my dearest friends. I went to look for him and my other friend Terra when they ran away from home. A lot has happened since then and I'm barely starting to remember parts of events. Since then... Ventus has been sleeping. I have to find a way to heal his heart, but I also have to find Terra. I just... I can't remember what happened involving him yet... It's all so vague and distant; as though I can reach out and touch it, yet it continues to move away from my grasp."

She clutches her Wayfinder, her voice quivering a bit as she spoke. "We were ripped apart by a terrible darkness. I don't recall the exact details, but I know part of it was due to Vanitas' doing." There was also someone else behind it all, someone pulling the strings, yet nothing managed to come to mind. "This place... I know it did something to my memory. I'm recovering the past events steadily, but I can't fathom why my mind would be tampered with in the first place.

Aqua exhales, "You see, you look just like Ven. I know that sounds silly, but the resemblance is uncanny, almost." Even if their appearance were the same, the two possessed very different personalities. "Not to mention the two of you have different outfits." She did wonder what was with the black robe Roxas wore. Another memory tugs at the back of her mind-- She had met another who wore the same robe he has, though his face was covered entirely by the hood. Was there something significant about that outfit?

It takes him a moment to register that—what was even going on?"Do you even know what you’re saying?" it’s soft, kind of unsure. How could she even know that meant anything to him at all? To date, only two people had ever said anything like that—she and Sora. "Nevermind." he waves her off, snorting. "I celebrate my existence just fine without anyone else. I just want my own birthday, that’s all."

She beams at Roxas, laughing at his statement. "If that's what you want, I'll throw you a birthday party someday. You just tell me when you want it and I'll do it. There'll be all sorts of decorations and gifts for you. Not to mention your favorite kind of cake."

♬ - a friend/best friend memory [ gimme the terraqua ]

It was another day of training for the two of them. Aqua and Terra had just gotten through another of Master Eraqus’ talks and were ready to devote themselves to becoming full-fledged Keyblade Masters. Aqua focuses equally on both her magic and physical attacks, while Terra goes all out with barrages of physical attacks against the training rings. She had continued diligently until she heard Terra let out a strangled yell as he falls flat on his back, causing her to end her training abruptly. She glances over at her friend, then at the set of rings spiraling hazardously for a minute before slowing down to a stop.

Aqua walks over to Terra, holding back her laughter. “It looks like you let those things get the best of you again.” She smiles at him as he sits himself back up, reaching behind to rub his neck and telling her not to tease him over that. Before his hand even brushes to the back of his head, he flinches in pain, setting his arm down as quickly as he could. Aqua kneels beside him and starts to rub his neck for him, telling him how he should be more careful as they train and not to pay more attention rather than to allow himself to lose his focus and hone in on the target. The two talk about other subjects, how they look forward to taking the Mark of Mastery exam and making Eraqus proud, when they would go and stargaze later that day, and when they would visit Ven to see if he’s feeling better since his arrival.

Noticing a few bruises and scrapes along Terra’s neck and arms, Aqua inquires if he feels well enough to walk. He attempts to get on his feet, but mentions how his legs ache.

"I guess you ended up falling wrong," She says to him ."Here, let me help you." Without hesitation, Aqua lifts Terra up and holds him in her arms. She was a bit surprised that she managed to carry him with ease, but it looks like Terra was even more shocked. Flustered, he instantly starts to object, demanding to be put down. Aqua laughs. "Is it because you don’t want Eraqus to see? Don’t worry, I’ll put you back down when we reach the door, okay? Then, even though your injuries aren’t bad, I’ll patch you up and make sure nothing else hurts. After that, we’ll go see Ventus." 

She ignores his outcries as she walks back to their home, smiling at the blushing, pouting Terra, who averts his face from Aqua's to the best of his ability. What would this boy do without her?

[On Henry’s own point of view, people were too uptight if they found his sense of humor too crude or distasteful but the fact was that he was the one who was way too open-minded.] Oh sure! I know! If I had my own powers back I could probably take on an entire army myself! Nya ha ha!

[That was no understatement as the boy’s dark magics were hailed by everyone as the strongest in the Plegian army and it greatly affected the balance of the war when he abandoned Plegia to join the Shepherds.]I’m Henry! Nice to meet you! And I’m not entirely sure but I have this weird sensation of having been on a similar place like this before. Though I have no recollection of this city whatsoever!

Aqua tilts her head, "You feel like you've been here before?" Is it possible that his memory had been wiped? Maybe that happened to not just him, but to everyone else here as well. Whether it be entirely or selective, that could be the reason as to why she could not remember much and is barely starting to put together the pieces ever so slowly.

"How strange..." She mutters to herself, her lips forming a small frown. "Do you think the perpetrator who's responsible for this tampered with our memories? That could probably be the reason for your sensation of déjà vu." If not, then she was probably over analyzing the situation, but it didn't hurt to come up with plausible assumptions. "There's probably more that's going on here than that bear leads us on to believe."
