Parisshipping headcanons that become more and more long, angsty, and daunting as they go on.

This is cringe but fuck it we ball. Also @mintparrot1

- While Alex was in the hospital after the power lines almost killed him both Clear and Carter visited him several times. When they’d be in the lobby together waiting for when they were allowed to see him the two would talk for a long time. Sometimes clear would bring cards to play with him too.

- When the detectives dropped the case against Alex, they all finally got to graduate. Clear was worried all throughout highschool that graduation meant she was gonna have to spend yet another milestone in her life alone, but was pleasantly proven wrong when Alex and Carter spent the rest of the night with her making plans for the future.

- During those suspiciously long 6 months they were free, I headcanon that the trio decided to rent an apartment and all live in it together as a way to save money. Sure, sharing a bathroom was hard, Alex and Carter would still fight, and they all had habits that could get annoying but it worked for a bunch of recent graduates. And over time the fighting became quieter.

- During that period Alex, Clear, and Carter bonded and became like 3 peas in a pod. They went everywhere together, from the movies to the park to whatever restaurant they were craving that night and none of them wanted to cook.

- Despite the fun they all had…Honestly, Carter felt super awkward. Clear and Alex had been officially dating since he got out of the hospital, so it was hard to not feel like a loser thirdwheeler intruding on a date whenever he tagged along.

- The truth is though…Alex and Clear WANTED him to come. They wanted him around and in a weird way felt like he completed their outings.

- Carter’s always the one they send to go get groceries. Alex says it’s because he’s the big strong jock and Carter just tells him to stfu. In the end the two help him bring the bags in and unload them all.

- Whenever they went a full conversation without bickering, which is VERY rare, Clear would stare at Alex and Carter like they had 2 heads.

- Clear is Carters number 1 teaser. She always knows how to get under his skin (in the nicest way possible) and Carter can’t even really get mad at her.

- Alex and Clear would have frequent talks about Carter and how lonely he seems. She’d ask if they should talk to him about him opening up but Alex would go on about how “guys don’t talk about their feelings like that” and leave her stumped.

- It’s 3 months in and Carters having a full blown crisis. He couldn’t stop thinking about the two. It was 24/7. Uncomfortably lying awake at night thinking of them in the other room, seeing the two cuddle together and wishing he could be apart of it and quickly having to throw that thought out of his mind, missing them so badly when they were out at work or something…It was like his brain was torturing him.

- He didn’t know what was wrong with himself, and he contemplated for about 2 weeks about where this came from. Was he crazy? Was he just THAT lonely? It’s not like he could talk to Alex or Clear about it. They’d probably think he was a weird freak and kick him out the apartment, and he figured he’d deserve it too.

- Carter wholeheartedly believed without a doubt that he was straight. If he was gay, why was he thinking about Clear? And how effortlessly beautiful and talented she was and how every time she laughed it gave him the most intense butterflies. But then again if he straight, why was he thinking about Alex? And how he felt weak in the knees when he’d be close to him and how handsome he looked even when he was a fucking mess. God, why was he thinking about EITHER of them this way?

- Luckily, it wasn’t just him that felt that something was going on. One night, they all laid on the couch together and talked for a while, and soon enough Alex and Clear came clean about their feelings for him and how they’ve been wanting him to be apart of their relationship for a while now.

- Alex couldn’t help but be hypnotized by him. Even when Carter was being an asshole, he had this way of getting Alex’s attention. The more time they spent together the more he realized how much in common they had and how his ex rival had him deep down admiring him. Alex never regretted saving him from the train, and every time he looks at Carter and thinks about that moment he makes sure to hug him a little tighter.

- Clear had been noticing Carter since French class. He always had to be the coolest, most nonchalant guy in the room and she always saw right through him. He was a try hard and he was lucky she was too quiet to ever point it out to his cocky ass. Even when he was driving the car aiming to kill them all, she read him and knew he was just a scared, traumatized guy even when he couldn’t admit it. When they started living together she saw a new side of him. He became somebody patient and comfortable with himself around them, and she was beyond happy to see it. She enjoyed their back and forth, the way they glanced at each other when they thought neither was looking, the way he made her feel the same warmth Alex made her feel. She knew for a fact she loved him and never wanted to see him alone again, and when her and alex had their discussion about Carter, she knew right away what they needed to do.

- of course carters utterly confused on how that’d work, so the two explain that they talked about it before and it’d just be like any other relationship but just with a third member to love. Soon enough carters able to cough up his feelings about them too, and they went to sleep that night cuddling each other for what seemed like centuries.

- Their outings become even more awesome now that they were all together as a throuple. Holding hands, having long winded midnight conversations, huddling together for warmth during the colder months, kissing and hugging for as long as they want…it was the most alive any of them felt yet. In each other’s arms, for once in a long time they felt actually safe and free from the memory of flight 180 and the fear of sudden death looming over them. The three still bicker and playfully bully each other time from time but they remain inseparable.

- Alex never goes a day without telling Clear how amazing and beautiful she is. It’s impossible for him not to!

- And Carter’s always trying his darndest to hold himself back from making out with them in public like he used to do with Terry knowing that’s not what they prefer. But they make it hard on him.

- They are Clears new artistic inspiration. She paints their likeness on countless different canvases and welds too many to count sculptures that represent them and how they make her feel. She uses beautiful vibrant colors to make up their paintings, never once using a dull shade. Her art is how she expresses herself and her feelings, and her feelings for her boyfriends could never be dull and lifeless. Whether the drawings are abstract or realistic portraits, the boys can always tell who they’re meant to be. And carter makes sure to point that out to her.

- Carter isn’t one to use his words, but is the type to overhear his partners talking about liking something then buying 100 of that ONE thing for them.

- Whenever New Yorkers are being New Yorkers Carters there in a flash to protect Clear and Alex. Alex has to be a smartass about it though and comments about how the tables really have turned

- Despite everything, when they’re packing for Paris, they knew it was the right decision to buy those tickets. Even if it meant having the work longer hours to afford the trip and worrying about getting back on a plane. But they knew as long as they had each other it was all gonna be okay. Besides, they wanted to honor the victims somehow, and felt this would be a good way for them to.

- Clear and Alex wanted to bleach their hair for the occasion. A new change for a new part of their lives. Carter would constantly remind Clear how gorgeous she looked, meanwhile would make fun of Alex all about how goofy he looked

- Alex sat in between them and held their hands as they lifted off. Those first few minutes weren’t easy but they made it through together and quietly celebrated somewhat conquering their fears. Alex and Carter would play fight the best they could in their seats, Clear slept for most of the flight, and they snacked on airplane food until they were stuffed. Overall, successful.

- They got a two bed hotel room, messing around and trying to figure out what they were gonna do for the next two weeks they were there, having had thrown ideas out there but not really forming a schedule. And towards the end of the night as they all cuddled together, Clear thought about how she could actually see herself marrying both of them if she could. She couldn’t imagine being with anybody else but Alex and Carter, and she would never want to be in the timeline where she was.

- The next night they decided to go for drinks at Le Cáfe Miro 81, it being the closest place to their hotel. Being together still felt surreal to Carter in a way, but for once in his life, he was opened about his feelings, telling them the truth that he felt they were the only two that could understand. And he meant that with every inch of his heart.

- When Carter was killed, they immediately returned back to New York, grieving his death intensely. Alex didn’t stop blaming himself. He couldn’t for all he tried to. Every time he attempted the memory of Carter saving him comes up and makes the emotions rush back.

- during the 3 months Alex stayed inside, clear tried everything she could to help him but she was just forced to watch as he fell apart. She was utterly helpless and the only time she could get him out the house was for Carters funeral, which she had to intervene Alex from certain death at. Every time he looked at Carters grave, he thinks about how he’s the reason he was there. He was the reason Carter was gone, and neither of them would ever see him again. For the rest of the time they’re together, they have to keep up this routine of saving one another from being killed next.

- Clear, not being able to stand Alex torturing himself like this anymore, tried to get him out of the house again. She didn’t want him to waste away, but in doing so, caused his death. It happened in such a flash, it’s like she blinked and it just flickered. She never screamed so loud before. She couldn’t stop Death from taking the only two people that loved her away, and now they were dead and gone, and she would never see them again. She never felt so helpless in her life. But Clear did not want them to die in vain. Yes Death beat Alex, but she wouldn’t let it beat her, and so thats how she ends up at Stonybrook.

- In the mental hospital, Clear filled her room with pictures of them in her yarn board. Every time she looks into their eyes in the pictures or looks at Alex’s crime scene picture, she feels a bigger pit grow in her stomach.

- When they force her to do activities to help her steady herself, she always chooses art. Clear still makes her paintings about Carter and Alex. But now they’re all painted with the guilt she’s living with. They’re all messy, all haunting. None of them are comforting like they use to be. They’re made up of mostly blues and red, and showcase men of her boyfriend’s likenesses with their heads either stretched out, caved in, or flattened. Hey, at least she’s still expressing her emotions.

- All she can think about in the hospital were those 6 months they spent together. It’s the only way she can deal with being in such a desolate and miserable place. She hates who she’s become and hopes wherever Alex and Carter are that they know that she’s doing this for them. She longs for the past back when everything felt like it was finally gonna be okay. When they were happy and safe. Those 6 months were the best time in Clear’s life, and she’d give anything to have another hour with them.

- And when it’s her time to go, the last thing she can think about before her consciousness fully shuts down is them. She thinks about how she can finally be free and finally be with her loved ones again. In this way, she had gotten her wish.
