chapter nine 'flight'

hwang hyunjin x reader

synopsis : season one, a great basic fluff story. But what if season two was the opposite?

And there you guys were, in the bright, huge place you didn't want to see. You held tightly onto Hyunjin's arm, looking up at him. "do you really have to go?" you whispered with glistening eyes.

Hyunjin chuckled, turning you around and pressing your body against his, wrapping his arms around your body. "it won't be that long" he spoke, pecking the top of your head. "I'll be back as soon as possible, okay my dear?" he asked as you nodded, still with a pout on your face.

Hyunjin couldn't help but mentally curse at himself at your cute expressions, the way you pouted with glistening eyes made him want to smother your whole face full of kisses. Which he did, making your eyes widen as you playfully hit him. "H-Hyunjin stop- people are looking-" you chuckled trying to push yourself away from him, but he just pulled you closer.

"I'm going to miss you so much" he sighed, pressing your head against his chest again. "send me a lot of messages yeah? some selfies, and the food you're going to eat" he spoke, tightly hugging your body. "that's the most you can do for your poor boyfriend" he sulked making you laugh. You wrapped your arms around his waist. "only if you do the same, send me goodnight and goodmorning voice messages please" you mumbled.

"yes, my love" he spoke, now letting go of her body and holding onto his suitcase. "I really have to leave now though, otherwise I-"

Hyunjin's words got cut off when someone called his name. He looked behind him, revealing Bangchan that was waving at him. "hurry up!" he shouted, you furrowed your eyebrows pointing at the older male. "C-Chan is coming with you-?" you asked. Hyunjin nodded. "he insisted, and he missed his family" he spoke, making you slowly nod your head. "luckily you're not lonely then" you smiled, tip toeing to peck Hyunjin's forehead.

And at that move he froze, widening his eyes a little. Whenever you pecked his forehead he felt so loved, so special. You made him feel so safe and happy. But with every single thing you did the sadder he got, he couldn't imagine his life without you. "god... baby" he sighed, kissing your lips for a little before stroking your hair. "I love you" he smiled, you smiled in return, watching his figure slowly walk away.

A tear rolled down your cheek, but you were quick enough to wipe it away so Hyunjin couldn't see it. Before he entered the short grey colored hallway he turned around, giving you one of his brightest smile while waving at you. You soon did the same, chuckling at how his eyes squinted into the shape of a rainbow. He blew a kiss, you quickly returned it as Chan pulled him into the plane. You chuckled again, but soon your smile fading.

Suddenly, everything felt empty. But that should only go on for a few days, right?

You sighed, turning around and exiting the huge building. You slid your hands into your pockets, thinking about the smile that Hyunjin gave you before leaving. This situation wasn't even that serious, but the two of you treated it like a world disaster. You looked around, legs trembling due to the coldness as you saw a taxi go your way. You waved your hand, soon entering the vehicle.

"to the always green apartment complex please" you politely spoke handing the driver money, he soon started driving as you buckled up. You kept staring at the airport, thinking about what Hyunjin was doing now, he was probably in his plane waiting for it to leave.

That's when you heard a familiar voice. "boyfriend's gone?" the voice spoke, you furrowed your eyebrows. But strangely you couldn't come up with who's voice it belonged to. "y-yeah? how did you know?" you asked the driver, he turned his face around to look at you. Your eyes widened and your body trembled.

"I know a lot about you, y/n" he smiled. Your hands shook like crazy, as well as your legs. You looked around the vehicle, and you just noticed that the inside looked nothing like a taxi. "s-seungmin-" you stuttered, gripping onto your shirt. "how did you-"

"I have my ways" he looked back through the glass, steering to the right. He wasn't even going into the direction of your home, which made you gulp loudly. You sneakily put your hand on the door handle, but just as you wanted to open it, the door locked. You froze, slowly turning your head. Seungmin had his eyes widened, smiling at you like a psychopath. "I don't think you want to get on my nerves, sweetheart" he chuckled. You screamed and yelled, hoping that someone could hear you, but he probably also thought about this.

"shut up, or I'll seriously hurt you" he stepped on the gas, making your breath stutter a bit. He looked like an absolute psychopath, that's when the windows suddenly turned black. You widened your eyes, looking around. "are you insane!?" you looked at Seungmin, pointing at the glass. "what is so secretive that has you turn the glass black? what is it that you don't want citizens to-"

Suddenly a gas filled up the car, Seungmin was wearing a mask. You quickly covered your mouth and nose with your shirt and managed to stay awake a little longer, but when Seungmin noticed he harshly punched you in your face. Your body collapsed, totally giving in. You breathed in the gas, your eye lids becoming heavy. But no matter how hard you tried, your eyes closed.

Now that this happened and Hyunjin was gone you didn't know who would come and save you. Does anyone even know what is happening to you? and who would bother to help-?

You could only think of Hyunjin's smile before fainting, how amazing he is, and perfect. At least may your last thoughts, be nice thoughts.

chapter eight 'goodbye, again'

hwang hyunjin x reader

synopsis : season one, a great basic fluff story. But what if season two was the opposite?

"one iced americano and an iced latte please" Hyunjin smiled, politely speaking to the lady at your small round shaped table. As soon as she nodded and left you looked at Hyunjin.

"are we going to stay here the whole day or something?" you chuckled. "of course not baby, we're just going to drink for a bit, we need some energy because I'm trying to do the most I can today with you" he smiled, but his smile soon faded. "baby.. I can't imagine myself in the airport all alone, in the airplane all alone, and in Australia all alone." You just nodded, listening to what your lover had to say.

"what if something happens to you? am I just supposed to cancel everything or- what if I'll be too late for something? what if you get hurt and need someone to comfort you? to tell you everything is okay?" Hyunjin sighed, that's when you stood up from your chair and walked up to Hyunjin, you removed his arms from the table so you could make room and sit on his lap side ways, then turning your head to look at Hyunjin.

He wrapped his arms around your waist, you cupping both of his cheeks. "Hyunjin, you have to stop worrying about me" you started, pecking his nose. "start worrying about how you could make your museum more popular and earn so much more money, if you'll do it quick enough you can leave earlier and spend the rest of your live with me"

Hyunjin just looked up at you, with glistening eyes. "when you're back we can also talk about our future, just think about that" you chuckled, rubbing your thumb softly over his cheek. "I promise you, in the future we'll be together in our house, cooking food for our children"

And at that sentence a tear rolled down Hyunjin's cheek, softly pecking your lips before resting his head on your shoulder. "I- I love you so much y/n you don't know-" he hugged you tighter which made you laugh, hugging him back. "I'd absolutely love that.. I'll be back from Australia as quick as possible just for you, mh?" He mumbled as you hummed in response.

And as you saw the lady approach you two with drinks you tried getting off Hyunjin's lap, but he just help you closer and closer, whining whenever you made the slightest move. "Hyunjin- the lady is-" you whispered, but it was too late.

"here are your drinks-" the lady akwardly smiled, soon jogging back to the counter before you could say thank you. And out of embarrassment you digged your face in the crook of Hyunjin's neck, whining as he laughed. "that was so embarrassing-!" you mumbled as Hyunjin patted your back. "come on baby" he chuckled. "you just make me want to show the world how good of a girlfriend you are"

And with that you quickly jumped off his lap and sat on your chair, half covering your face while slurping your drink. Hyunjin softly smiled grabbing his drink. "you're so cute" he whispered, which made you slightly frown at him. "you're just teasing me now-!" you whisper yelled.

Hyunjin laughed shaking his head, "okay baby, now I want you to bring your drink with you" he spoke while standing up. You furrowed your eyebrows. "what- where are we going-?" you stuttered but he didn't reply. You grabbed your drink and soon locked your hand with Hyunjin's, walking out the cafe together hand in hand.

"we weren't going to finish our drinks there-?" you asked in between sips of your coffee, Hyunjin shook his head doing the same. "nah ah, I told you I wanted to do the most we could together today" You chuckled looking at your lover, putting your cup away for a second. "are you really going to miss me that much?" you asked with a slight grin on your face.

Hyunjin smiled, looking around at the scenery while caressing your knuckles with his thumb. "you're like... my teddy bear" Hyunjin spoke, making you chuckle. "your teddy bear?" you repeated with a bright smile on your face. Hyunjin smiled back. "like a child's teddy bear, they can't fall asleep or live without it, it's their most precious belonging" he smiled at you, holding your hand tighter.

You chuckled, walking a bit closer to Hyunjin and resting your head against his shoulder. "you have an unique way with your words" Hyunjin wrapped one arm around you, resting his head on top of yours. "does it make sense though?" he asked making you nod and hum with a smile on your face. "you're also my teddy bear, Hyunjin" you smiled.

The two of you spent minutes walking down the pavement, talking about your teenage days and memories. As well as things you'll be doing when Hyunjin comes back, he was planning on buying you a nice purse which you weren't allowed to refuse. Every now and then Hyunjin pecked your forehead, making butterflies fly all around in your stomach.

"remember that day?" Hyunjin chuckled, but you couldn't chuckle with him. "what day?" you asked, clinging onto your boyfriend's arm. "when you first moved into that apartment and I saw you still wearing my jacket" he teased, and when you playfully tried to walk away Hyunjin laughed throwing his head back, pulling you back against his body. "sorry baby sorry- you just looked so cute" he giggled, stroking your hair as he continued walking.

"why didn't you take it off though?" he chuckled, looking down at you while playing with your hair. You frowned while sighing, "why do you want to know?" and with that Hyunjin looked around, thinking of a reason. "hm.. just curious" he shrugged. "well, I guess it was just comfortable"

Then Hyunjin stopped walking again, looking around. You got curious so you detached yourself from Hyunjin's chest and looked at the current location you were at. An amusement park.

"Hyunjin-" you stuttered, standing next to him holding his hand. Hyunjin softly smiled at you. "let's have some fun" and with that he pulled you into the park. You laughed running along with your lover. "hey-! slow down!" you chuckled, almost out of breath. Hyunjin turned his head around, smiling at you. "why? tired already?" he teased sticking out his tongue.

You let go of his hand while glaring at him, and soon running off on your own. "hey- baby-!" Hyunjin yelled, now running after you. You laughed looking behind you multiple times. Hyunjin's eyes widened as he sped up, making you furrow your eyebrows while still running.

"y/n- watch out-" he called, quickly grabbing your wrist and pulling you against him. Something hit your back causing you and Hyunjin to fall on the pavement, but thanks to your boyfriend you didn't get hurt. But Hyunjin on the other hand..

"ah-" he groaned, squeezing his eyes shut. You widened your eyes getting off of Hyunjin and looked at his expression. "are you okay-?" you stuttered, placing your hand under his head and placing it on your lap. That's when Hyunjin smirked and squirmed in your embrace, you soon chuckling. "I was really worried-" you whined.

Hyunjin just got comfortable in your lap, now slowly opening his eyes. "this is comfortable" he whispered while looking at you. You heard someone clear his throat, making you look up.

"excuse me" the voice called, you and Hyunjin quickly stood up while looking at the bulky figure. It was Changbin, with crossed arms and one tilted eyebrow. "ah- Changbin!" you stuttered, rubbing the back of your neck. "what are you doing here-?" you akwardly chuckled.

"well I just wanted to go on some roller coasters, until you two bumped into me" he playfully rolled his eyes. Hyunjin laughed putting one arm around his shoulders. "long time no see" he smiled. "what are you two even doing here?" Changbin asked with a smile on his face.

You shrugged, looking at Hyunjin. "don't know, Hyunjin brought me here and we just started running I guess" you chuckled. "I'm leaving to Australia tomorrow, just wanted to spend my last day with my girlfriend" Hyunjin spoke, now walking up to you and pecking your forehead while placing his arms around your waist. You chuckled looking at him.

Changbin gagged, looking at the two of you. "ew.. in front of me-?" he scoffed, uncrossing his arms. "I'm gonna go now, have fun!" he spoke while walking away. You and Hyunjin were quite surprised that Changbin just left like that. And when he was gone you chuckled, looking at Hyunjin.

"well- that was.. strange?" you spoke. "yeah" Hyunjin chuckled in response, holding your hand and looking around. "let's go on some rollercoasters" he smiled, but that's when you shook your head.

"actually... can we go to that new park close to our apartments?" you asked, softly biting your bottom lip. "I- I kind of wanna take a very long walk with you" you blushed, looking at Hyunjin who was smiling at you. He pulled you into a hug and pecked your forehead. "of course baby, your wish is my command"

And just like that, the two of you took a taxi to that park. Minutes later you arrived, holding hands and looking at the pavement that was covered with orange leafs.

"wow" you breathed out, letting go of Hyunjin's hand to grab your phone. And once you let go of him he whined into your ear, wrapping his arms around your waist and pressing him against you. "baby~ no phone-!" he sulked as you chuckled, looking up at him. "I'm just gonna take a few pictures for us to look at in the future, calm down" you laughed, now taking pictures of the path.

You took multiple pictures of the trees, your view, and even some birds and butterflies. Everything in the park was just super pretty, and when you saw a big tree you turned around to look at Hyunjin who was following you like a dog. "Hyunjin come here!" you giggled, reaching out your hand.

Hyunjin softly smiled at you taking your hand, and when he did you pulled him with you. Your boyfriend seemed a little surprised at first but soon started chuckling with you. When you arrived at the tree you sat down, tapping on the grass beside you under the branches and leafs.

"come sit down" you smiled at Hyunjin. "why?" he tried to tease, but you just stood up again and grabbed both of his shoulders. Soon pushing him down, and when he sat down you rested your head onto his lap, laying down looking up at the sky that was covered in orange leafs.

Hyunjin started brushing hair strands off your face with a smile formed onto his lips, "you're beautiful" he whispered, caressing one of your cheeks when you chuckled. "you're more beautiful" you whispered back, now sitting on his lap sideways while resting your head on his shoulder. Hyunjin wrapped his arms around your body as he pecked the top of your head.

"do you know how precious you are to me?" Hyunjin mumbled, you shrugged looking at him. "no.. probably very though" you guessed, but your boyfriend shook his head. "you're my most precious treasure" he smiled, back to brushing hair strands off your face. "so, so precious"

You grabbed your earphones and put one in Hyunjin's ear, the other one in yours. Soon playing some love songs while looking at your lover. Hyunjin smiled pecking your lips, to which you chuckled. You were going to miss him so much once he leaves for Australia.

But little did you know what was going to happen.

in the past few weeks I have received so much love and compliments, they made me so happy and motivated. And I became so surpirsed when I saw I had 83 lovely followers already! synopsis : season one, a great basic fluff story. But what if season two was the opposite?

You arrived at the police station with your lover, hands tightly wrapped around each other as you entered the building. Soon after you approached the man behind the counter.

"hello my nice is Choi y/n, I came here to ask for the security camera's in front of the Hyunseum" you politely spoke, not even knowing if it was a correct sentence or not. When the man looked at you both, he tilted one eyebrow.

"and for what? so you two can create an edgy teen edit on tiktok?" he scoffed, making hyunjin furrow his eyebrows. "are you even doing your job correctly?" he widened his eyes, you quickly hit Hyunjin's back and pulled him behind you. "no sir, my boyfriend was accused of hitting my brother, we all know it wasn't true so-"

Your words got cut off when the man started laughing, everyone looked at you. "for real? these teenagers.." he sighed ending his laugh, "we're not even teenagers! and apparently your mom didn't teach you about manners becau-" you pressed your hand onto Hyunjin's mouth, and just then someone approached you two.

"oh Choi and Hwang! we were waiting for you two" another man smiled, making the other man's smile drop. You and Hyunjin eyed the man behind the counter up and down very dramatically, now facing the other police man.

"do you have the cctv?" you asked making the man nod, but as you followed him you sensed Hyunjin letting go of your hand. You looked behind you, only to see Hyunjin brushing his fingers through his hair while giving the man a sassy look.

You chuckled, quickly grabbing Hyunjin's hand and pulling him with you. "cut it out!" you laughed, Hyunjin smiled at you holding your hand tighter. "just had to show him who's the boss" he shrugged, and that's when the three of you halted in front of a computer.

"this car right?" the man asked, Hyunjin hummed in response pressing you against his body and hugging you tightly while his eyes were on the screen. "and that's Choi's brother?" he asked making Hyunjin hum again.

The video played lee know walking, then tripping over a rock and dropping all of his drinks. Hyunjin steered aggressively to the right, after that you see him step out the car immediately and you running outside.

"looks like you're innocent" the man shrugged, making Hyunjin and you smile. "I'm going to send this to the policemen from your case, for now you're good to go" he smiled, standing up. But before you and Hyunjin could leave he spoke again.

"actually, is there any chance one of you has seen the screwdriver?" he asked. "yeah, me" you spoke looking a bit surprised. "I think I also remember where I put it, I'll send it in a box to the station" you finished, the police and Hyunjin smiled and finally, you guys could go.

"I'm so proud of you baby" Hyunjin smiled stroking your hair as soon as you left the building. "you have no idea how much I love you" he slightly squinted his eyes, now caressing your cheek while looking at you. You chuckled, lazily resting your arms on his shoulders. "me too Hyunjin, me too" you pecked his lips softly, Hyunjin just kept staring at your face with a soft smile, eyes full of love.

"I'm sorry" he started, his smile slowly fading as he pulled you a bit closer. "for what?" you asked, looking up at him. "that I have to leave, all of the sudden" he whispered, pecking your forehead as his hands went up to your waist. "I'm going to be worried"

You shook your head, cupping both of his cheeks. "everything is going to be fine, trust me, you're going to be big and once you're back.. we can go shopping!" you giggled, that's when you suddenly got tilted up in the air.

Hyunjin span you around, chuckling at you when you laughed, threatening him to drop you with a smile on your face. "hey- s-stop!" you laughed, slightly kicking your feet in the air as Hyunjin just kept chuckling looking at you. When he finally stood still he pressed you against his body, wrapping your legs around his waist.

"Hyunjin!" you chuckled, tightly wrapping your arms around him to not fall. "my little koala" he laughed, then started walking. "I can walk on my own!" you started, leaning your head back a little so you could look at him. "why are you doing this-"

Hyunjin softly smiled at you. "so I won't regret it later" he shrugged. You leaned your head against his shoulder as he carried you to the museum, like a baby, and a koala.

And when you arrived, all the people looked at you, but whenever you wanted to drop yourself Hyunjin just held you tighter and pressed you back against his body, he really didn't want to lose you anymore. "Hyunjin!" you whisper yelled, covering your face from the people. "put me down!"

"hi" Hyunjin just kept politely greeting the workers there with a smile on his face, as if he didn't just have a girl hanging onto him. You wondered why nobody was laughing or taking pictures, maybe because.. nevermind, you really didn't know.

"Mr Hwang! and Mrs y/n hello!" a voice called, making you widen your eyes, you felt Hyunjin shake hands with the guy but there was no way you could look anyone in the eyes at this moment.

"how did you know it was y/n?" Hyunjin chuckled, placing his hand back onto your leg so you couldn't fall, the man laughed. "well, she's the only girl around you, and the only girl that can do... this" he akwardly chuckled, and your face glew red.

Hyunjin carefully dropped you back on the ground and chuckled at your red hot face, caressing both of your cheeks. "greet him, baby" he whispered, you slowly turned around and did a quick bow. "hello-" you stuttered.

Hyunjin's hand dropped to hold yours, that's when the man laughed. Looking at the two of you. "you guys look really cute with those matching outfits, keep it up!" he smiled, then walking away.

And like a magnet, you pressed yourself onto Hyunjin's chest, burying your face in his sweater. Hyunjin wrapped his arms around you, chuckling. "sorry baby, did I make you shy?" he mumbled as you just nodded against him, and just like that you guys walked into Hyunjin's private art room glued onto each other.

When Hyunjin closed the door you unattached yourself from your boyfriend, slowly walking around the room. "here right?" Hyunjin asked as you hummed, you kneeled down to reach for the item. "it's right her-" you planned to stand up again, but you lost your balance and fell.

Hyunjin was quick to act, sprinting to you and placing his hand under your head, but then he fell too. Hyunjin fell on top of you, one hand under your head and the other next to your waist. Your hands were just holding the screwdriver as you looked Hyunjin in the eyes.

"careful" he whispered, staring deeply into you eyes as you gulped. Hyunjin slowly stood up while holding you against him. When you both stood up again you cleared your throat. "s-so um- t-the um drivers-screw is-"

Hyunjin cut off your words, laughing as his eyes squinted. "driverscrew? baby are you good?" he chuckled, walking towards you and hugging you tightly. "you're so cute, I'm going to- ahh!" Hyunjin groaned, hugging you so tight, you could barely breathe.

"c-can't breathe-" you grunted, Hyunjin quickly hugged you looser, but didn't let go of you. He akwardly chuckled looking at you, caressing one of your cheeks. "sorry baby, you're just so cute" he sighed, pecking your lips quickly.

You chuckled, playfully pushing him away as you shook your head. "we came here for the screwdriver, not a nice little date" you chuckled again, leaving the room. And as you left the room you felt your boyfriend back-hugging you, following your each and every step while leaning his head on your shoulder.

"I love you" he whispered, pecking your cheek over and over again. You laughed, looking at Hyunjin. "all because you're leaving for Australia a few days? it won't be that long-!" you rolled your eyes, that's when Hyunjin pulled you closer. "I can't even last one day without you~!" he whined. "how am I supposed to stay away for a few days~!?"

You sighed with a smile on your face, stopping your tracks and facing Hyunjin. "c'mon, we have to pack this up!" you spoke, until one of the workers came. The worker grabbed the screwdriver from your hands, making you widen your eyes. "h-hey-!" you called, but Hyunjin just pressed you against his body.

"I gave the worker some extra money so he could pack and send it for us, I want to spend this whole day just having fun with you" he pouted, that's when you laughed. "Hyunjin! it's not a big deal! you're not dying or something-" you explained.

That's when Hyunjin picked you up in bridal style, giving you a small grin. "we're gonna spend this whole day together, until I have to leave"
