If She was an Angel, He was a Demon (Ch.3)
Pairing: Suna Rintarou x reader (University AU)
Word Count: 880 words
Warnings: Cursing
[A/N: This is a really short chapter so I'm sorry for that. Next chapter I have some twists and turns planned so be excited for it!]
Chapter 3:
She finally woke up with her face covered in strands of her hair, and tightly tangled in the comforter on Osamu’s bed. She sat up, a small sigh falling from her lips as she brushed the hair out of her face. With one small glance around the room, she saw Osamu asleep on the floor, and Suna awake scrolling through his phone.
“Good morning princess,” the boy responded with a small smirk on his face. He glanced at her from the corner of his eyes but made no move to turn his head towards her. She flipped him off and flopped back down. “Ya know you’ll feel better if you drink some more water.”
She ignored him, opting to pull the comforter over her head and covering her ears. Then from the floor a loud groan was made. It was obvious that Osamu had woken up due to their talking. She heard the shuffling around of him standing up then felt a weight on the end of the bed on top of her feet. Y/N could not force her feet out from underneath it, but definitely tried too.
“Stop wiggling I’m tryna drink some water,” a sleep-ridden voice finally spoke up, making Y/N pull the comforter down finally. She met eyes with Osamu, who looked completely exhausted.
“You look like shit Osamu.”
“You’re no Victoria Secret model either, Y/N,” he was quick to retort back, so she assumed he wasn’t too hungover. She sat up again, laughing a little. Osamu sent her a weak glare but broke out into a small smile.
“Thank you for letting me take over your bed.”
“Alright lovebirds. I’m leaving now,” Suna finally spoke up, sounding slightly annoyed. Y/N just shrugged it off assuming he was grumpy or hung over for some reason. She looked at Osamu for some type of answer but only received a shrug.
Osamu and Y/N finally made it out of the room in search for food to cure some of the hangover they both had. They were met with a few guys standing in the kitchen, either cleaning or making some type of food.
“I’ll make you some food. I like to cook,” Osamu spoke up, and walked into the kitchen. Not sure what to do while she waited, Y/N sat down at the table near the kitchen and pulled out her phone. She had a list of notifications, most of them from her roommate frantically apologizing for leaving. She laughed to herself when she scrolled to the picture of her friend looking desperate with a certain blonde setter’s arms around her tightly. Y/N responded letting her friend know she was alright and with Osamu.
“Oh you’re still here. Can’t seem to leave me alone?” Y/N’s head jerked up to look at Suna. Suna who was basically naked, only with a small towel around his waist. Her eyes darted up and down, much to her dismay. She jerked her head away from his well-toned annoying body.
“Suna! What the hell?!” she squeaked out. She heard his deep laugh from behind her, before hearing the footsteps of him walking off. None of the guys in the kitchen seemed to care about him walking around, so she assumed this was a constant occurrence. She looked back over at Osamu who was concentrating on the stove in front of him. She smiled.
Maybe it was the fact that Osamu ‘saved’ her last night. Maybe it was her being lonely. Whatever the reason, she was slowly starting to find herself attracted to the grey-haired twin. He was very calm, but also was able to banter well. He was a good combination of fun and serious, and best of all he had a giving nature towards her. She’d like to get to know him a lot better.
After a while he finally walked over with two plates of pancakes. A bright smile lit up her features. The smell was something that captivated her. She started to dig in after adding some maple syrup. A small hum of satisfaction came from her after the first bite. She closed her eyes to savor it.
“I’m glad you like it. I figured something sweet would brighten us up a little.” Osamu spoke between bites, a smile lighting up his features. Y/N couldn’t help but smile back.
“Sorry can’t talk right now I have too many pancakes to handle.” She responded, while continuing her eating. She heard the laugh that came from Osamu and smiled to herself. Was she blatantly flirting with him now? Absolutely. Did she mean to? One hundred percent. She wanted to break his shell open a little and get to know him better obviously.
Osamu and Y/N laughed and smiled during their breakfast. Little did they know, eyes were lurking from the living room in the house. Two almond shaped, amber eyes were glaring holes into the back of their heads. Suna knew he had no right to be mad at Y/N for flirting with Osamu. She didn’t even like Suna. However, he still felt some type of jealousy towards the pair. He would have to make some changes to that before Osamu went up and stole Y/N away from him.

If She was an Angel, He was a Demon (Ch. 2)
Pairing: Suna Rintarou x reader (University AU)
Word Count: 1493
Warnings: Cursing
[A/N: A little slow during this chapter, I’m dragging out their relationship, and I have some future plans involving Samu later. *insert an evil smirk here* Anyway. Hope you enjoy! You can find Chapter one in the masterlist!]
Enjoy!
Chapter 2
Deep down, she had known it was Suna. She just had to make sure. Of course he found her. There was at least fifty people at this party, and he somehow managed to spot her in the crowd.
“I showed up because my friend wanted me to come.”
“You sure it’s not because you saw me earlier and wanted to see me one more time?”
The smirk that he wore pissed her off to no end. How dare he assume she would show up to a party purely for the chance to see him? Self-centered asshole.
“Yeah, I’m sure I didn’t,” Y/N kept up the cold demeanor, but couldn’t help but notice that he was nearly pressed up against her back to look at her face. She was blushing but knew it would be too dark for him to see that.
“Aw don’t be like that doll. I think we could really have a good time if you would just open up a bit. Or maybe you don’t want to because you have someone else? Kita maybe?”
“I’m not dating Kita, and even if I was it wouldn’t be any of your business Suna,” she turned around to face him, tilting her head up a bit to look at him.
“Alright, alright. No need to get so feisty with me doll.”
“I’m only being feisty because you’re always hitting on me like I’m supposed to fall head over heels for you.”
“Well, I can’t say I would be upset if you did trip over those little heels you got on, straight into my bed tonight.”
“Fuck you.”
“That’s more like it doll.”
“Alright I’m out of here.”
Y/N turned again in search of RM/N so that she could let her know that she was leaving. However, when she turned around Atsumu and her friend were no where to be seen. She sighed angrily, unsure of what to do now. She didn’t want to leave incase RM/N was still here, but she also didn’t want to be stuck dealing with Suna. So she just walked away from him, there wasn’t any need to think it over in front of him. It would just give him more of a chance to antagonize her anyway.
As she walked towards the kitchen area in the house, she finally saw another familiar face. It was the other twin she met earlier, Osamu. She could at least go talk to him and see if he had seen Atsumu and her roommate.
“Osamu! It’s me Kita’s friend from earlier. I have a quick question,” she called out, waving her arm a bit to grab his attention. She walked over to stand in front of him, and he pushed himself off of the wall that he was currently leaning on.
“Oh, Y/N right? I didn’t know you’d be here. What’s up?”
“I was wondering if you had seen Atsumu and a girl running around here. He was with my roommate but now they’ve disappeared somewhere, and I wanna leave.”
“No, I haven’t seen them. I saw them talking earlier though. Atsumu probably took her to his room or something.”
“Damn it, I just wanna go to bed. Its been a long night,” Y/N laughed just a little bit, but the night had definitely not gone how she had wanted it to go. The only thing she could think about was making it into a bed and falling asleep. Most of the alcohol she had drank was wearing off, and now all she had was a headache.
“Hm, well if you want you can crash in my room. My roommate is probably gonna run off with some chick tonight, so,” Osamu offered, shrugging his shoulders a little.
Y/N really considered it. She was tired and she was sure that RM/N was still with Atsumu and probably would be for the rest of the night. She could just send her a text and then run off to bed.
“Are you sure?”
“Yeah. Come on I’ll show you where my room is.”
Osamu started walking up a set of stairs, and Y/N followed him quietly. Upstairs the music and talking couldn’t even be heard. She felt a wave of tiredness rush over her bones as she walked into the dark room. Osamu clicked on the lights and turned towards her.
“Alright, there’s my bed. My charger is by the wall, and I have some t-shirts and stuff in the closet. I’ll probably sneak up here to fall asleep in the floor later, sorry if I wake you up. If you need anything you know where to find me”
Y/N nodded gratefully. She was surprised that he was so kind. Osamu reminded her a bit of Kita, but possibly a bit more outgoing. He at least showed some more expressions.
She walked over to the sink grabbing one of the towels and taking off her makeup. It felt nice to finally be able to relax a bit. The tension that she had in her shoulders was slowly alleviating itself. She splashed some water on her face and looked in the mirror. She looked exhausted, bags underneath her eyes. Her eyes and cheeks had both turned bright red. The headache wasn’t going away, but she probably just need some water to get that to go away.
As she was standing by the sink, she grabbed her phone to send RM/N a quick text message to let her know where she was. She didn’t want her to think that she ditched her. Even though it was obviously the other way around right now. She turned her head a little when the door opened, thinking it was just Osamu. She let out a loud groan when Suna walked through the door.
“You’re kidding me right now.”
“Doll? I didn’t realize that you were going to take my advice and fall into my bedroom.” He wore that stupid smirk again. It was lazy, and his eyes crinkled a little bit. His demeanor gave off this indifference, but if someone looked hard enough, which Y/N did, you would be able to find the surprise that lingered there. It pissed her off that he carried himself in such a lazy way. Every time she had seen him, he had that lazy demeanor. One that said that he couldn’t care about what was currently going on.
“Osamu said I could sleep in his bed tonight since I can’t find my roommate. She ran off with Atsumu. It has nothing to do with you,” she snapped a little, going to the closet that Osamu pointed at earlier. She looked inside, blatantly ignoring the boy who was still standing in the middle of the room. She pulled out a random t-shirt then looked at him. “I’m going to change so if you could make yourself useful and leave that would be great.”
“This is my room you know.”
“Suna.”
“Fine, fine. I’m turning around!”
Y/N watched as he turned around, and when she felt comfortable that he wasn’t going to peak she turned her back towards him and started changing into the large t-shirt. She sighed in relief as she took off the clothes that were a bit too tight to be comfortable, and the heels that had straps digging into her ankles.
“Alright I’m done. Goodnight,” she finally said, climbing into Osamu’s bed and getting under the covers. She rolled onto her side so she couldn’t see the other boy. She wanted him to believe that her heart wasn’t pounding in her chest at the sound of him moving around the room and getting ready for bed. She didn’t even know why it was happening. She hated him already. She didn’t want to have anything to do with him, and she was so mad that he was making her so nervous. She chalked it up to the fact that she hadn’t been around in a while, and she was drunk.
“You sure you don’t want any water? Your face looks red and I’m sure you’ve got a raging headache.”
He was right, she did want water. She was pissed that he was right. She cleared her throat and glanced at him as he was pulling two water bottles out of the fridge even though she had yet to respond. Why was he taking the time now to be nice? He had literally been an asshole every other time he had spoken to her. It was obvious to her that he was the type of boy you should stay away from. The boy that would just break your heart and leave you crying over him for weeks after he had finished using you for what he wanted.
“Thank you,” she mumbled, taking the water from his outstretched hand and drinking some of it before falling back down onto her side. She closed her eyes and within a few minutes sleep finally fell over her.

If She was an Angel, He was a Demon (Ch. 1)
Pairing: Suna Rintarou x reader (University AU)
Word Count: 1423
Warnings: cursing, alcohol
[A/N: This is the first chapter of this fic! I’m currently unsure of how many chapters it will have, but if I come to a decision I will be sure to let all of you know! If you have any recommendations on how to improve the writing, what you liked, what you would like to see, feel free to shoot me a message!]
Chapter 1
Y/N spent most of her time in the library studying thoroughly for her classes, making sure she would be able to pass them. Like was mentioned earlier, her classes and her future were her biggest priority. She didn’t care much for the parties, the games, and Greek life.
Her roommate, however, had gotten deeply invested into all those things. RM/N had already found herself starting relationships, ending relationships, going to parties, games, and anything else that came up.
Y/N had approximately two people she talked to frequently: her roommate, and a boy she met at the library, Kita. Kita was a quiet boy, and he frequently sat beside her in the library. She liked Kita; he was a nice guy. A bit stoic, but nevertheless a friend to her. They spoke about classes, clubs, and things of the like while studying beside each other. She knew he was on the school’s volleyball team, and a year older than herself; but other than that, not much about anything in his personal life.
“Are you alright Y/N, you look a bit out of it,” Kita spoke up, glancing at her as he did. She glanced up and lifted her head out of her hand.
“Oh yeah, I just got a bit distracted is all.”
“You probably need sleep. You look tired.”
She did need sleep. Kita didn’t know, but after Y/N stopped studying at the library with him, she would return to her dorm to continue. Typically, by the time she got back to her dorm her roommate would be out of it. She could study in peace and allow herself to truly focus there.
“I can drive you home. I know it’s a long walk from here to the dorms.” Kita spoke up again at the lack of her response.
“Oh- I couldn’t possibly ask you to do that. That would just be me being lazy,” as she responded she waved her hands in front of her face.
“No, its fine. Let’s go.”
The two of them walked out of the library and towards Kita’s car after gathering their things up. Y/N yawned and covered her mouth with her arm, before turning her head in the direction of someone calling Kita’s name. She was surprised to see three boys walking in their direction, one of them being that jackass that hit on her in the laundry room.
“Kita! We didn’t know you would be on campus today!” the blonde called out, waving his arm above his head.
“I’m on campus every day. I was at the library.”
“Oh right. Studying,” the blonde responded before setting his eyes on Y/N, “Hi, are you friends with Kita? I’m Atsumu.”
“Nice to meet you Atsumu, I’m Y/N.”
“Behind me is my twin Osamu, and our friend Suna. We’re Kita’s teammates,” he added, waving his hand behind him gesturing at each boy respectively.
Y/N could tell that Atsumu and Osamu were twins. That much was obvious; the only difference in between them was their hair color. She gave Osamu a small smile and a wave, then gave Suna a quick nod before looking back at Kita and Atsumu. She didn’t want to make it seem like she knew who Suna was. She doubted he remembered her, considering their conversation happened in the first week of school.
“Kita if you want to talk to your friends, I’m really fine just walking back to my dorm,” Y/N spoke up again. Not only did she not want to be around Suna anymore than she had to, but she also didn’t want to be a hassle for him.
“No, it’s alright I will see them later anyway.”
Kita didn’t really give his teammates a goodbye, just turned around and started walking to his car once again. None of the three boys seemed offended but Y/N thought it was a bit cold. She followed him, waving after the three boys as she did so.
She was comforted by his quietness though; it was nice to be able to just think about what had happened. Talking about it was not an option that she wanted to do. It also meant that he hadn’t noticed that she had already known Suna prior to today.
Kita dropped her off at her building, and she thanked him for his kindness before walking inside. She took the elevator up to her room, unlocked her door, and went inside. A small sigh of relief left her mouth and she flopped down on her bed. Maybe she was more tired than she realized. She was about to close her eyes when she heard the door unlock and her roommate walk into the room excitedly.
“Y/N! You have to come with me to this party tonight! It’s going to be so much fun, the volleyball team is throwing it and there is this cute guy- “
“RM/N… I told you that I don’t do parties, I have so much to do. And besides I’m exhausted.” Y/N rolled onto her side to look at the other girl, who was currently taking her hair out of the bun it was in.
“Oh, come on! It’s just one party, and you never go to them with me. Why don’t you just try this one and if you don’t like it when we get there we can leave.”
Y/N sighed, before rolling onto her back once again. She supposed that it couldn’t kill her to go out to a party tonight. She liked parties in high school, but again high school was a lot easier than university. However, it was also Friday, she didn’t have any classes tomorrow, or assignments that needed to be turned in. She could just let loose for the night and have a good time.
“Is it going to be a big party?” Y/N asked sitting up and stretching. She didn’t want to see Suna. He gave her an uncomfortable vibe, but if it was a big party, she doubted she would even see him.
“Yeah, it’s going to be pretty big. I don’t really know.”
“Alright I’ll go.” Y/N got up from her bed, feeling a bit more awake and excited now that she had something to look forward to tonight. Both of the girls started getting ready together, fixing their makeup, and helping each other choose outfits to wear. Y/N felt pretty good about her outfit, it had been a while since she had gotten dressed up to go out. It was a nice change.
Y/N and RM/N drank a little before they left. Not enough for either of them to be too intoxicated, but just enough to have a buzz before entering the party with a bunch of people. It was just the status quo. No one wants to enter a party completely sober; it was just a lot to take in that way.
The house that they went to was already packed once they walked inside. Music was blasting from a speaker somewhere, and the lights were off. The only things that were illuminating the room we small colored lights that moved around the room, never staying in the same place. It was loud, but exciting.
The two girls moved towards the middle of the room, each getting handed a drink on the way from a dark-haired boy. Y/N opened hers, taking a sip while moving her hips to the music once they had found a free spot. Y/N was having a good time, just singing along to the music, and laughing with her friend.
“Y/N there’s the guy! The one I was talking about!” RM/N yelled over the music, pointing at Atsumu, the boy that she had met earlier that day.
“Why don’t you go talk to him?” Y/N also yelled over the music while nodding.
“Yeah you’re right!”
Y/N watched as her roommate walked over to the blonde starting up a conversation with him. They both looked like they were having a good time. Which was enough indication for Y/N that she didn’t have to keep her eyes on them to make sure nothing happened.
“You’re the last person I expected to show up to one of these doll,” a deep voice whispered in her ear, hot breath fanning over her shoulder and back, causing the hairs on the back of her neck stand up. She flushed red, and glanced at the person over her shoulder.

If She was an Angel, He was a Demon
Author’s Note: This will be a chapter series that I will be updating (hopefully) every Friday! If you like this series let me know! Your feedback means a lot to me :)
Warnings for this chapter: cursing
Prologue:
There are just some people in your life that you cannot avoid. Maybe it is due to some universal connection, or possibly they are just jackasses that like to follow you around. Y/N had one of those people, and he was downright the most despicable person that she has ever met. They couldn’t decide if he was born evil, or created, but he wore it well. Y/N’s person was named Suna. Suna Rintarou.
Suna and Y/N met their first year of college, they were staying in the same dorm building. Y/N was walking towards the laundry room, her clothes hamper in hand. She noticed the dark-haired boy once she entered the room, pulling out his clothes from a washing machine. She didn’t give him much more than a glance and continued to the washing machine where her clothes were located. Bending down to open the washer door, she heard a whistle come from behind her. She shot a glare over her shoulder at the boy, which he, in return, sent her a smirk.
“I’m Suna, what’s your name doll?” he asked once he knew he had gotten her attention. Unluckily, Y/N was not the typical girl that Suna found himself flirting with. She could care less about the attractive guys, and the one-night stands. She had a college career to get to and didn’t have time for sleezy boys. So, instead of a response, Suna received an eyeroll, and eyeroll which he was unhappy to receive. “I guess someone woke up on the wrong side of the bed today. Whatever.”
After grabbing her clothes out of the washing machine, Y/N made her way past the boy and to the dryer. She could feel his eyes on her and tried her best to completely ignore him. She wouldn’t give him the time of day, and this was most likely the last time she would even see him. This was a big dorm building, and a big college. So after paying for the dryer her clothes were in, and pressing start she just calmly walked out.
Little did Y/N know, she would be seeing Suna a lot more than she wanted to.

🅦🅗🅔🅝 🅨🅞🅤 🅕🅔🅔🅛 🅘🅝🅢🅔🅒🅤🅡🅔 - 🅑🅝🅗🅐 🅢🅒🅔🅝🅐🅡🅘🅞🅢
BNHA scenarios:
How they react when you feel insecure:
Katsuki Bakugou:
You knocked on the door of your explosive boyfriend’s dorm. You knew he was studying and that he would be frustrated that you were bothering, but you needed some reassurance. Honestly, you felt insecure about being in the hero course. Everyone around you seemed so confident and strong, your boyfriend included, and you couldn’t help but feel intimidated by everyone. You felt weak. During practices you would always get pinned down, or you would lose your matches. It was getting to the point that you couldn’t find partners to work with because people were getting tired of sparring with you and not having any issue.
Usually, none of this would bother you all that much and you would keep it to yourself. However, today you met your breaking point. During practice, per usual, you couldn’t find anyone to spar against and the only person left was Mineta. That stupid grape boy had the nerve to tell you that he wanted to spar with someone stronger. He was ranked last in your class! You knew that but deep down it still really hurt.
You stood outside the door, arms over your chest, and tears in your eyes waiting. After a few minutes you knocked again, louder this time. “Bakugou?” you called out, trying to keep your voice as even as possible. You heard the muffled groan before the door opened.
“What the hell do you want I need to stu-” the red-eyed boy stopped his sentence halfway, and furrowed his eyebrows when he saw the tears in your eyes. “Why are you crying dumbass?” he asked, opening the door further to let you enter, which you did. You sat down on his bed, sniffing once every few minutes. Bakugou just stood in front of you waiting for an answer, and you were slowly regretting coming here first. He did look a bit annoyed.
“I- well- I” you stuttered a little trying to find your voice, “I’m feeling really insecure about become-becoming a hero. Everyone seems so strong and I- I just am not even close to being that!” you managed to finish your statement before breaking down. Your face fell into your hands and sobs wracked through your body. You sat there crying for a while then felt the bed dip beside you and a hand fall on your shoulder.
“Hey dumbass, look here. “ Bakugou said, gaining your attention. You looked over from your hands, wiping your eyes gently. “Don’t you ever, ever, doubt your abilities again. If you couldn’t be a hero you wouldn’t fucking be here alright? What the hell brought this on?”
“Today, I had to spar with Mineta… And he said that he wanted to fight someone stronger than me… And no one will spar with me anymore because people are getting tired of beating me.. And-” you rambled off, getting yourself worked up again, until a hand covered your mouth.
“Shut the hell up for a minute. Look. What if I start sparring with you so you can start to catch up with the rest of the class? Will that make you feel better?”
You gave a small nod, and the hand was removed from your mouth. You gave your boyfriend a small smile, “Thank you Katsuki.” you responded before throwing your arms around him.
“Hey! Knock it off I need to study, and beat up a purple piece of shit.” he complained but wrapped his arms around you nevertheless, letting out a sigh. Before letting go, standing up from the bed, and walking towards the door.
“Where are you going?” you asked, furrowing your eyebrows.
“I gotta show a grape who’s actually weak.” He turned towards you slightly, that same devilish smirk on his face, small sparks bursting from his palms.
“Don’t get in trouble!” you called out, but he was already on a mission.
Shoto Todoroki:
As you walked into the dormitory after going on a walk, certain words ran through your head. Certain words that were given to you from a certain pro-hero. On your walk through the city you had stumbled across said pro-hero, who just so happened to be your boyfriend’s overbearing father. You couldn’t help but think over these words, letting them run through your mind, getting under your skin more and more each time you replayed them.
‘You’ll never be what Shoto is looking for. He doesn’t need you right now, he needs someone who isn’t going to hold him back. I don’t even know what he sees in you.’
Each time they replayed tears got closer and closer to spilling onto your cheeks. You didn’t talk to anyone as you entered the dorms, and just walked past into your room. It was decently unusual for you to do that. Everyone knew that you loved to spend time with your friends, even if it meant just sitting there enjoying the environment. You laid onto the bed, finally letting the tears fall over onto your pillow. You didn’t know how long you had been laying there, but you finally heard a knock.
“Y/N? Are you alright? Everyone is worried about you. Including me.” You heard the soft voice of your boyfriend, and took a deep breath.
“Yes I’m okay, I just really need to study. I don’t really know what’s going on in class right now.” you managed to smooth out your voice enough, and sat up wiping your eyes. You knew that Todoroki wouldn’t open the door without your permission, it wasn’t in his nature to do so. So you hoped that your response was convincing enough to calm his worries. You didn’t want to tell him that his father spoke to you today, and you definitely didn’t want to tell him that his father was making you cry. The two were just starting to slowly get on the same ground, at least speaking to each other now. You would hate to be the reason that it was ruined.
“Are you sure? It sounds like you’re crying.” he urged. You should’ve expected that he would pick up on your voice change. He was too receptive to not do that.
“I’m just really stressed is all. It’s fine.” You heard a sigh from the other side of the door, but no footsteps walking away. He must be standing there to listen to what’s going on inside your room. You wanted to make your lie a bit more convincing so you played into it, and grabbed a pencil and notebook and started ‘writing’. It was a few minutes of faking that, and you heard footsteps leaving. The rest of the night you laid on your bed with your face in the pillow crying.
The next couple of days you were distant from Todoroki. You could tell he was confused, and a bit upset, but he never came up to question you about it. You knew it wasn’t a good idea, but you couldn’t bear to break up with him. You didn’t want to hurt him more than you had to, and you didn’t want to be the reason his relationship with his father was in shambles again. You hoped that by distancing yourself, he would get annoyed and break up with you instead.
You were wrong. Finally, one evening you heard a knock at your door. “Y/N I know you're ignoring me… Please tell me what I did so I can apologize. No one else understands what’s going on here either. I just want to fix it.” Todoroki called out. You didn’t expect him to automatically blame himself for the fact that you weren’t talking to him. You didn’t have an excuse, and you could hear how upset he was.
“Please Y/N. I just want to fix whatever I did. Just talk to me.” he spoke again. You just sighed and stood up then opened the door. Your arms were crossed over your chest, trying to look less insecure than you felt on the inside. You moved a little bit out of the doorway to let your boyfriend inside. He turned to you waiting for a response, and you mentally debated on what to do.
“I- The reason I’ve been ignoring you isn’t something you did.” you started off, choosing your words carefully, “Your father.. Spoke to me the other day. I-I guess that he just got to me. He… Uh- Said you deserved better than me, and that you shouldn’t be with someone that is holding you back.”
“Why- Why didn’t you just tell me that? You didn’t have to ignore me. My father says idiotic things like that all the time.” He looked shocked. You couldn’t tell if it was from what his dad said, or if it was from you not saying anything.
“I just didn’t want to hurt your relationship with your father.” you responded, then walked over to your bed and plopped down. You watched his face. It was a little hard to read Shoto sometimes, however, you’d gotten decently good at it. He was definitely frustrated right now, but he was being too quiet for you to know what about.
“Listen… I know that my father and I were working on fixing things. But I would rather be in a happy relationship with you, than a happy relationship with him. I don’t think that you hold me back in anyway, and if it weren’t for you I probably wouldn’t be doing as well in this course as I am. I don’t deserve better than you, you deserve better than me.” He finally spoke up, sitting beside you on the bed.
You were slightly shocked, but felt relieved most of all. You should have just said something in the first place, and you knew that now. You threw your arms around his neck, and let out a pent up breath.
“I’m sorry for not talking to you… I was just insecure and I felt like I would be ruining something if I spoke up.” you whispered, not letting go of your death grip hug. Todoroki didn’t seem to mind though, he just wrapped his arms around you as well and sighed. He sounded relieved too.

pairing: kyo soma x reader
word count: 1,839
warnings: mild cursing
[A/N: this is my first oneshot for this blog. let me know if there is anything you would like me to change about it! btw, this is from my challenge!]
“Y/n are you almost done? You have been taking forever to get ready!” you heard your orange-haired boyfriend yell from outside of the bathroom. To be honest, you had been taking a while to get ready, but it was Halloween! You needed to get your costume put together! You were going as (whatever you want I’m not here to decide that for you), and Kyo was going as a vampire. All he had to do was put on some fake teeth and dark clothes! You needed time to perfect your look.
“Yeah I’m almost ready! Just give me a minute!” you called over your shoulder before putting some lipstick on, and giving yourself final lookover in the mirror. You thought you looked pretty damn good for a last minute Halloween costume, but the real test was how your hot-headed boyfriend enjoyed it.
You stepped out from the bathroom, giving him a small smile and a spin, “Well? How do I look?” you asked, holding your arms open waiting for his response. He sat up from his spot on your bed, giving you a small look over, then the faintest smile. You two had been in a relationship for a long time now, if you hadn’t you probably wouldn’t have noticed the smile.
“You look fine. Let’s go already! The lines are going to be hella long thanks to you.” Kyo complained before getting up from the bed and walking out the door with you.
The two of you were going to an amusement park that was close by, one that was conveniently turning into a horror themed park for the season. Kyo really wanted to go through some of the haunted houses and mazes. You were looking forward to the candy and fun atmosphere of an amusement park at night. As Kyo paid for the tickets you stuck close to his side, you knew how these things usually went. The people that were dressed up always targeted you, scaring the absolute shit out of you. You could never understand why, but it probably had to do with your reaction. You knew you needed to be careful though, if you hugged Kyo it would be a disaster. Neither of you needed to deal with an orange cat running through the amusement park before turning into a naked boy.
To say that you were nervous was an understatement, you were practically screaming every time someone jumped at you. Kyo, obviously, kept laughing which earned some feeble glares from you in his direction. He couldn’t help it though, you looked adorable trying to hide from the people in costumes. Both of you knew they were just normal people but you were both handling it very differently. You had no idea how he did it, Kyo would just stand there and even laugh when the workers tried to scare him. You on the other hand would jump, squeal, and shake any time someone walked up behind you or came close. You were practically crushing Kyo’s hand with how hard you were holding it, and if you could hide inside his body you probably would. You couldn’t hug him though, which was increasingly becoming an issue. You just hoped that the haunted house wasn’t as scary as you thought it would be.
You both were standing in the long line together, waiting to get inside. Your hand still in his, squeezing as tight as you could. “We aren’t even in the haunted house yet, why are you so scared? You’re going to crush my hand before we get inside!” Kyo remarked in a teasing voice, looking over at you. You looked frightened. You were only going in this house because he wanted to anyway!
“I’ve been getting jump scared since we walked into the park! I’m freaked out okay?” You said in a little whiney voice hoping for some sympathy from your boyfriend. Some sympathy that was not received, you just got a little chuckle and a light flick to the forehead. What a dick.
As you two approached the house you could hear the screams of the people that went in front of you, and you tried to glance inside to see if you could at least slightly prepare yourself for what lays ahead. You didn’t get that though, through the entrance all you saw was darkness. Depending on how you thought about it that could be comforting, or even more frightening. You let Kyo’s hand tug you forward into the house, and you started getting more scared. You were practically shaking and the boy beside you just pulled you forward without a care in the world. You had no idea how he seemed so calm, maybe he was faking it.
The first little bit of the house was in complete darkness, and you could hear chains jingling from different corners of the room. Your eyes were darting around but you couldn’t see anything, you just had to listen to the noises and hope to prepare yourself for what was to come. You managed to get through the pitch black darkness unscathed, no one jumping out at you and spooking you, however, the house was far from over.
You moved into the next room, which was brighter than the last but completely covered in smoke. It was impossible for you to even see where the door was, but Kyo seemed to know where he was going so you just followed his lead. Soon enough you both were stopped by a man jumping around on all fours, he was dressed like a clown, fake blood dripping from the top of his head where an axe sat. Kyo tried to move you both to the side around the guy but he just side-stepped in front of you, staring silently. You thought it was worse that the man wasn’t speaking. Kyo sighed in annoyance.
“Just scare us already so we can move on damn it.” he urged the man in front of you two, rolling his eyes a little. Yet again, you were amazed at how calm he was in the current situation. You must have been too busy looking at your boyfriend’s face because the minute you looked forward again the man in front of you jumped up, screaming at the top of his lungs. You, as any sane person would, screamed back and Kyo just pulled you along again.
The rest of the house was a blur of you screaming, trying to look closer to see if that was a person or a dummy, and trying to run past the man with the chainsaw. The last one Kyo held you back for though. He seemed to know better than you did. He knew that if you ran forward the man would then proceed to chase you with the chainsaw straight out of the house. He just kept a tight grip on your hand, and made you stay close to his side.
If you weren’t shaking before, by the end of the house you were quivering. You saw the exit and just wanted to bolt for it. The steady hand beside you kept the normal pace though. You were glancing around quickly looking for whatever it was that was going to scare you now, and while you were turned away a chainsaw revved behind you, making you jump and scream again. You tried your best to pull Kyo the hell out of there.
“If you run then he’s definitely going to chase you.” Kyo stated calmly, watching the guy as he ran up. You flinched and turned your head away, hiding your face slightly for the last few feet until you were outside.
“Why are you shaking so bad? You’ve been shaking the entire time, are you really that scared of stupid haunted houses? They aren’t even real.” Kyo spoke up, looking over at your shaking body.
“I am that scared! I don’t know how you didn’t jump once! I was freaked out the entire time!” you whined, leaning your head back a little, trying to stop your shivers. You were embarrassed obviously, having been called out by the boy beside you, especially once he started laughing like the manic clown you had just seen in the haunted house. “Kyo! It’s not funny! I was really scared!” you pouted, then looked away from him.
“Aw you baby. Cmon let’s go get something to eat.” Kyo stated after he had finally calmed down, then pulled you into one of the restaurants close-by. It was decorated like a witch’s house, and they were selling plenty of candies. Kyo went to the front to buy you something, while you found a table for the two of you. When he came back you still had the same pout on your face.
“Oh cmon, those houses aren’t even real. You can see the people coming from like a mile away.” he said, then offered you a candy apple, tilting his head. “Do you really hate them that much?”
You took the apple, biting into it and thinking over a response for a few moments. “It's not that I don’t like them, I just don’t see any of the people coming so I always get scared! And I scream a lot so they target me.” you replied, same little pout on your face that you had the entire time.
Kyo ate his apple while proceeding to ponder something, which you couldn’t guess, so you just looked out the window at everyone walking around. “How about the next one we go in, I’ll tell you where the people are coming from so you are ready for them? Hm?” he finally spoke up.
“Kyo, I really don’t wanna” you whined.
“Just one more! And if I tell you where they are you won’t be scared because you will see it coming! If you still hate it we can go home and have movie night instead.” he offered, tilting his head to the side, his same small smile on his face. The smile he reserved for you and knew would get you to break.
“Okay. Fine, one more, but if I hate it we go home.” you agreed then finished the apple in your hand.
The rest of the night you two spent going through haunted houses unscathed. Kyo would lean down by your ear giving you heads up for what was coming, as well as letting you know when things were people or dummies. He made sure to move you to his other side anytime he couldn’t get to let you know about the workers beforehand, and also made sure to ask if you were okay during the houses. You actually started to enjoy them! You spent hours going through houses, and only left because the park closed.
Once at home, you two still ended up having a movie night. You begged Kyo since you spent so long at the amusement park. He obviously put up a fight, but eventually, with a roll of the eyes, he agreed. You two spent the end of your night watching movies before falling asleep together on the couch, the TV flashing in front of your faces.
