Looking at the lady and then looking at her hand… the Xeala Auri did this a number of times to make sure what was happening was not just some trick played on her. She wasn’t trying to be rude or anything, but rather was unsure how to approach this sudden event; this is all happening so fast that processing it all was a bit difficult to work with.

 Taking the hand and presenting a small smile on her face before speaking, “I live in the city that is near this area.” Though the ruins here near the beach might as well be her other home as well; Naiko would be found sleeping around the place at times. “I research these places all the time and I apologize that I didn’t except your greeting right away. You just surprised me is all,” the Xeala Auri explained herself a bit to the starnger.

 Soon letting go of the little handshake and bowed before the woman before introducing herself, “I am Naiko Yumishi, a pleasure to meet you.”

Diamond’s brow raised a little in confusion at the other grabbing her hand. Was this a standard greeting here ?? Her eyes sparkled as she returned the gesture, giving a firm shake back. How exciting it was to get a chance to learn more of this world’s cultures. As the girl spoke, Pink released her hands, finding herself lingering on every word. Her head shook for a moment, a smile on her face. 

“ No, no. You do not need to apologize, you are fine. ” She responded lightly. “ It is my pleasure to meet you. You may call me Pink. ” It was strange to give that name out, but she could hardly give the name Rose Quartz. As long as she keeps the diamond part off for now, she needn’t worry. 

“ I am not from around here. Would you perhaps honor me by telling me a bit abut this area ? Ooh !! Or maybe even by showing me around ?? You said you have been researching here, right ? Your planet is so fascinating and I would love to learn more about it. ”

The diamond held up a hand, smiling at the other. Taking time now and then to explore this planet was one of her favorite things to do, especially since it was peaceful. And while she greatly enjoyed her time with the others, having a chance to step away from them and allow herself a break from her other form for even just a little bit.

“ Are you from this area ?? I have never been over here myself. It is rather fascinating and beautiful here. ”

Once she registered the smell, she instantly understood why the young woman asked. The mere smell of fermenting fish and other unrecognizable critters was indeed strong and foul, and the poor soul was completely drenched by it.

“I’m not too familiar here, but if I recall correctly, there should be a public bath house nearby. If you would like, I can lead you there.” Fey then replied, expressing a small smile.While in this matter, she could use a bath as well, especially since it had been a few hours of traveling for her to arrive here in the first place.

A breath of relief escaped the mage’s lips. As long as it wasn’t too far away, she could get away from having to get a nw way to cover her hair, and would just have to deal with the scent until she got to the bather. Public baths weren’t ideal, there was still a chance of discovery there, but she was willing to take a brie chance to wash up before the stench gets her discovered on its own.

“ I appreciate it ! I’l happily take you up on that, thanks. ”

Ferrah bent down to collect her items, hoping they didn’t get soaked too bad. She wiped her bag off and offered a toothy smile to the other. Time to put her faith in this stranger and hope this wasn’t a trap.

“ Lead the way, i’m right behind you. ”

The  sun rested low in the sky, the pastel colors painting the clouds above them. She looked absolutely stunning in the morning scene, however it wasn’t something he felt he could say to her. It certainly wasn’t proper or his place to call out and embarrass her. So his eyes would be forced to trail away to look at the painting in the sky.

“ Elren, can you stop by the Commandant to relay we’ve returned ?? I’ll be in tomorrow to finish paperwork on it. I need some good sweet relaxation time before I do any more work. ” She chimed, waving her lieutenant off. 

She only took a few steps before her gaze landed on familiar pink hair. Sure, she was looking forward to alone time, but that can wait to say hi to her princess. Ferrah whistled and gave a tired wave to Estelle.

The small diamond leaned over, gently wrapping her arms around the other’s figure. This feeling... was so nice. A sensation filled her, a longing she’d wished for so often when she felt alone and isolated back on home world. Arms squeezed a little tighter around the girl, a soft smile forming on her lips

I need to think of an AU way for Pink Diamond to somehow make a comeback post future. Maybe her and Steven accidentally separating or something. I just really love the idea of after everything’s been revealed, her returning and having to interact with everyone. AAAH.
