how to attract faeries

hey witches and other believers so this is going to be a list of how o attract faeries (fae) to your garden/room. when doing this remember to be patient they will come when they are ready, also if you live in a rural area it is easier to attract them.

the most obvious thing is that you must believe in fae if you do not they will sense this and wont visit you, i mean would you want to spend time with someone that isn’t sure about you (i wouldn’t) 

give them respect and love, as the same you would with people, they just want to be with friends

make sure it is obvious that you only want good fae in your area, not only will they cause you trouble, other fae wont want to visit, in fear of those mischievous creatures being there.

make them a little home it doesnt have to be extravagant or anything, maybe just a box youve painted or anything really, but it would be nice for them to have their own space. 

respect the earth the main reason fae are concerned about humans is how poorly we treat the earth, if your seen by them who cares for the earth, its creatures and plants, the faeries wont be as concerned by you.

give them an offering, usually fruit (i find that they love berries the most) put this by the house, i mean who doesn’t like a little gift.

fae love music so play some especially if its light and uplifting. have wind chimes, laugh and giggle. 

they love colours and pretty things so have nice plants and flowers not only will this attract fae, but itll make your home better. 

dont be discouraged if you dont see a fae instantly they are shy and you may not see them for a while and even if you do at the start it may be that they are just checking you out. also if one visits you dont expect them to come back lways, it just may not have worked, but you will hopefully find one that is loving and you two shall become good friends. some basic ideas on charging sigils with the elements ✨

note: these are my personal correspondences! you may not agree with them, and thats totally okay. i just wanna share some ideas so you can form your own opinions :) feel free to add to the list!

Why would you involve the elements?

depending on the sigil’s purpose, different elements can aid the intent. for example:

WATER

water would help with sigils relating to emotions, wisdom, purification, love, healing, femininity and others.

WAYS TO CHARGE/ACTIVATE USING WATER 

drawing the sigil on paper and letting it soak in the sink

placing the sigil out in the rain

letting the sigil absorb moonlight

drawing the sigil on your body while you swim or bathe

EARTH

earth would help with sigils relating to gardening, money, grounding, divination, fertility, employment, stability, and others.

WAYS TO CHARGE/ACTIVATE USING EARTH

placing the sigil in soil

if it is a sigil to help with plants, place it under the pot or near the plant

let the sigil absorb sunlight

surround with crystals/rocks (selenite would be good!)

any sort of physical way would be good

FIRE

fire would help with sigils relating to sex, courage, exercise, destruction, force, cleansing, protection and many others.

WAYS TO CHARGE/ACTIVATE USING FIRE

draw the sigil on paper and burn it (be careful!)

pass over a candle

pass through incense smoke (or any smoke) 

cut up the paper

let it absorb sunlight

have the paper under your pillow or nearby when indulging in acts of passion (yep. you know what i mean.)

draw the sigil on your skin and everytime it moves it’ll charge

AIR

air would help with sigils relating to flying, moving, intelligence, school, karma, and others.

WAYS TO CHARGE/ACTIVATE USING AIR

pass through incense smoke

play your sigil some music

toss the sigil into the air

take it with you when traveling 

fan the sigil

study with it nearby if it is to do with that

A spell to gain control

A simple spell to help you gain control over your emotions or actions.

Best done at sunrise, noon, or sunset. You will need a clean, clear space and an small item of your choosing. 

Begin by cleansing yourself. Take a shower and imagine everything you would like to release being washed off (or use a cloth and water). If possible, untangle your hair, change into fresh clothes and take care of anything else that is bothering you. Use incense smoke if desired. 

Sit, and ground yourself. Hold the item in your hands and envision the ways you would like to change and gain control pouring into that item, filling it up. You are welcome to speak them, or write them down if that aids you. 

Carry that item with you and use it’s energy when needed. This spell can be used to recharge the item if needed. 

Close off the spell however you see fit. Be it a few words, a releasing of energies, some form of cleansing again, whatever works for you.

BRA WITCHCRAFT 👙

love them or hate them, if you’re a bra owning individual you can use them to your advantage in the witching world!

-Sigil Charging: Place the piece of paper with the sigils you want to charge inside your left cup, over your heart, and leave it there for however long seems right to you. You can also draw sigils inside the cup for self love, etc. (in my experience it only works on your left side, stronger energy from the heart)

-Charm Carrying: Have a charm you need somewhere discreet? Put it in your bra! It keeps the charm close and secure while you go about your day.

-Energy: Okay… hear me out on this one. Your bra sits on your chest, right over your heart. It absorbs all of the negative energy from your day, right? Use your bras from bad days in curses, hexes, etc. for an extra kick. (be sure to cleanse it afterwards so you aren’t negatively affected)

-Defense: Your bra can attack others, but also defend you! Charm your bras like a poppet and use it as a defense mechanism to any ill will sent your way.
