Modernalized Vintage
Tumblr media
I’ve read from a magazine that one way to look taller is to wear the same color or similar shades top to toe. Well, I am not insecure anymore of my height and I don’t get offended when people call me short. Yes, I am. What’s the big deal? So now people are judged according to their height? Why? Where do you think should we put our brain? In our legs? Come on!
All my life, people let me feel insecure about my height. When falling in line on grade school days, my classmates would push me to the front. During high school, someone told me I don’t look good with the guy I fell in love with because he was tall and I was too short. It hurt me and increased my level of insecurity. Sometimes I would blame my parents for not letting me drink vitamins when I was a child. It could’ve helped me grow taller.
In my despair, I researched about how to grow taller or even just how to look tall since it’s more realistic for me. I then started wearing shoes with heels. I got so addicted to it. I bought a new pair almost every week. But when one of my officemates told me she wants to be as petite as me, I was like, “Wow! You are the very first person to appreciate my height!”, and that’s when all my insecurity instantly gone away. Now, I’m hoarding flat shoes.
Okay, I’m overtalking again. It’s been a while since I’ve last posted a Sunday OOTD. Been too busy lately.
Tumblr media
I can’t remember where I got my top. One thing is for sure. It’s from a thrift shop. I like how the neck line is so unique.
Tumblr media
As usual, the skirt is from a thrift shop, too. You don’t usually see me in long skirts, so to avoid shocking you, I kinda made a twist on one side.
Tumblr media
Kimbel bag from Metro at P600. Got in on sale. I have always wanted a white bag. I’m not quite happy with the quality of this one though.
Tumblr media
I forgot where I got my wedge open shoes. It’s around P600, I guess.
What I’m trying to achieve in this OOTD is a touch of modern in vintage pieces. How would you rate this style?

A Little Edgy
Tumblr media
Every time a new fashion trend comes in, I used to envy ladies wearing crop tops, skater skirts, maxi dresses, or whatever the status quo is. When I was still a student, I always asked my mom to buy me the same outfits like everybody else’s. But she never ever bought me something that’s still on trend. Her response would always be, “how do you think you’d stand out if you conform with everybody?” Of course, I didn’t listen to her because hello, I didn’t want to feel left out with my friends. They had skinny jeans in high school and I only had one old flare jeans. Mama never likes jeans or pants for me until now. She’ll be like, “you’re a girl, you’re supposed to wear skirts and dresses”, and I would just roll my eyes off because Maaa, it’s the new trend! Back in grade school days, sleeveless tops disgust me. I know, I was so silly. I only wanted to wear shirts and knee-high shorts. I think I didn’t realize I was born a girl. Lol. I don’t know what happened but when I reached high school, my comfort clothes were all gone. I had no choice but to get used to wearing ruffles, laces, and floral dresses. And when I started working, I had to wear corporate attire daily. That’s when my wardrobe transformed. Now, mama would complain why I keep wearing short shorts, backless tops, and outfits she thinks are so uncomfortable to wear. Also, if a new trend comes in and I seem to like it, I’d get mine after a year or a few months. Either I buy without telling her or by any chance she appreciates the style, she’d sew me one.
Actually, this post is about my OOTD from two weeks ago. I just had to tell you a little backstory of my love affair with fashion. Anyways, sharing with you my denim outfit, which happens to be the new fashion trend right now.
Tumblr media
There’s a funny story actually about this outfit. My boyfriend thought I’ve grown out the jumpers. Lol.
Tumblr media
Sunglasses from Emporium at P650
Tumblr media
Blue off-shoulder crop top from Y.R.Y.S (Your Rule Your Style) at P299
Tumblr media
Denim jumper from a thrift shop. I was so happy I got it for P180. But that’s actually a bit pricey for me. Usually, I don’t buy clothes that cost more than a hundred bucks at thrift shops. But this one’s a steal.
Tumblr media
White sneakers from Converse Jack Purcell. My boyfriend just gave it to me. I think this is the limited edition one. Not really sure. But it’s more or less P3000.

So it's Friday, huh. I just shut down my laptop. Yes, I worked until this late 'cause I was gone from work for a couple of hours and I had to compensate the time I used for dinner and watching Spiderman. I was so sleepy in the office. I knew I needed a long breaktime to regain my energy. I ate so much beef last night. I was craving for shrimps but we couldn't make it to the movies if AJ let me decide where to eat because shrimps, duuh. I couldn't stop eating them. And I always pretend I'm never allergic to it. Meanwhile, here I am suffering from itchiness every night for eating all the taboo foods for me. Anyways, I started watching that KDrama, Strong Woman. AJ's sister has been forcing me to watch. Lol. I have no copy of the full series yet so I've been searching videos of it all over Facebook. I am not really fond of Korean movies, but I've watched a few. Now I'm replaying Friends all over again. I don't know. Never gets old. Their humor amuses me. I'd still laugh at their witty jokes. Most of the time, at their faces. Phoebe is my favorite, and also Ross. Well, I love all the six of them. Sometimes, I'm just biased. Supposedly, I was looking for HIMYM (How I Met Your Mother), but the HOOQ app doesn't have it yet. Lately, I've been crazy 'bout Netflix, too. So many movies. I sometimes spend a movie marathon with myself. Yeah, I should sleep now. I'm attending an event tomorrow. Good luck, self!

Could someone please suggest anything I can do to help me sleep early? Like at least one AM. I couldn’t stop working and it’s already three at dawn. I have no feeling of drowsiness at all. In fact, I could stay up until the sun rises. I should receive an extra pay for working on a graveyard shift. I drank milk earlier weirdly paired with pancit canton. Also, puto and hard boiled egg. What’s the English word for puto? I don’t bother to know, duuh. I went outside together with my mama. I’m always hungry after midnight. Guess it’s not supposed to be called midnight snack anymore.
I keep on yawning. But when I try to close my eyes, it would take me almost an hour to get knocked out. I’m crying, I want to go back to my old self where five minutes is too long to make me fall asleep. I couldn’t remember the last time I had a real breakfast before lunch time. Help me. This isn’t healthy.

I just had a call with my lead and it was the one of the talks I needed to have in this time of my life. I tell you, my work is killing me. Imagine me dealing with so much technical stuff going on and I am an HRM graduate. Sometimes I think it was a little mishap on choosing an IT job than pursuing the degree I hold. But I did not regret my choice. However, I am struggling with my work right now and as what I have said on my FB status last night, I am in between giving up and seeing how more I can take. I don’t know if she (my lead) has read my posts both in FB and my blog on how stressed I am at work, or my teammates told her I sleep at past four AM everyday. But honey, she just said the right words I needed to hear during our one hour call. I almost cried of gratefulness on how much she understands how I feel. I never thought she’d even care about my personal life. She’s way too busy to be bothered ‘bout non-work related things. I am just so happy she spared a little time for me in spite of her hectic schedule. Her comforting words somehow relieved the pressure and stress stuck in me for so long. Nah, just kidding. Just a few weeks maybe.
I almost lose my motivation to work, afraid I cannot deliver what is expected from me. But there is something that pushes me to go on. I don’t know what is it. I look forward to finding it out. Last year, I came to point where I wanted to look for another job – the one which I love to do. But then again, I didn’t push through for some personal reasons. Reasons only God truly understands. No sugarcoating, but I didn’t have a good relationship with my previous team. I’m glad I was transferred to another project. The workload is so much more a pain in the ass, but the people around me made it lighter. Well, not easy to accomplish the task, but at least I have a team whom I can run into when my brain capacity drops to zero percent. So long as I need an income, which I think will be forever, kakapit ako besh.

It's almost three in the morning and I'm still wide awake. I want to believe it's the Panna Cotta I ate at late afternoon today that's keeping me up or the Oaties milk. But sadly, no. Lately, I've been sleeping so late. My body clock has gone crazy. It started when I watched Netflix movies on my phone. I couldn't stop browsing for another movie once I finished one. Also, I've been too busy with work. Last week, I got home at almost 3 AM. You see, I am not a morning person. I get so productive at night, because I like working on quiet hours. It doesn't make me feel sleepy at all. How ironic am I of a normal person? Oh, the rain has just stopped pouring. I really want to sleep now. I have to take a call tomorrow at ten in the morning. Well, good thing, I can work from home anytime I want. So, I'll just come by to the office maybe after lunch. I am trying to wake up early like I used to, but my alarm doesn't work. Or maybe I just ignore it every time it rings and swipe snooze about ten times. Lol. Now, I'm having allergies all over my right leg. I blame it to the chicken I had for lunch. This is seriously itchy. It looks gross, full of my scratches. Hope the marks will be gone when I wake up. Also, my eyes are so puffy. I can pass as a brokenhearted teenage girl who cried overnight. I need the most powerful concealer. My eyeglasses couldn't cover these up.

La Vie Parisienne
Tumblr media
It is my biggest dream to tour around Europe (if possible, for free). I want to personally see that famous Eiffel Tower I’ve been dying to tick off from my bucketlist. France and Italy are just so romantic and dreamy. Dear future husband, please take me to those places for our honeymoon. I promise we’ll split the bill. I want to have breakfast outside a coffee shop whilst watching the passersby. But instead of coffee, I’ll have tea. I want to read a magazine or their local newspaper, pretending to understand their language. I want to just walk around all over the place and have dinner at some fancy restaurant, at least just once.
Tumblr media
These past few weeks, we have been so busy at work. So, when the boyfriend asked me out on a date last Sunday, I thought of going somewhere we can just chill. I have a list of nice places to go around the city, just in case a movie date or going to a cute café doesn’t work. I scrolled over my list and decided to head out to La Vie Parisienne. I have heard the place has been renovated. I’ve been here a couple of times already, but I wanted to see what’s new.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
I thought it would be crowded there, but thankfully, we went on a Sunday. So, there weren’t a lot of guests. We got the chance to take pictures (or let’s say, we had a mini photoshoot) without photobombers.
Tumblr media
Excuse for the imperfect angles. We only used a GoPro and phone combo. Plus, my bag as a tripod. Resourceful, huh. We didn’t want to bother someone to take pictures of us. I know I wouldn’t be contented with just three shots of each pose. Lol.
Tumblr media
I wanted to pose at every good spot, but poor AJ, he was already sweating.
Tumblr media
They have extended so much of the place. I have no idea what’s this elephant doing here.
Tumblr media
Looks like I really found a great place to chill. Best time to stay here is from 4 in the afternoon and beyond. Or just whenever it’s not too sunny.
Tumblr media
Does anyone know where to get one of these somewhat white tents? I’d love to put up one at the beach.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
They have pizzeria, done in a traditional way. Also, look how cute their Parisian uniforms are.
Tumblr media
Beside La Vie Parisienne is this pink house. They have the same entrance, by the way. And as far as I know, it is a restaurant.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
How it looks like at night.
Tumblr media
And presenting, their highlight, the wine cellar.
Tumblr media
There’s too many. I couldn’t decide which one suits my taste.
Tumblr media
So I didn’t get one and took pictures instead.
Tumblr media
The architecture inside really amuses me.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Wouldn’t you want to sit here and have some wine?
Tumblr media
Spotted right there, is my boss, but was forced to be my slave for the day. I’m sorry, Babe. No more photoshoot. I promise.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Cheers to more wine!
Tumblr media
View from the inside.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
And to wrap up, that’s how the place looks at night. Still, I want the real cherry blossoms and of course, the real Parisian date.

Hello Kitty Salon & Spa
Calling all Hello Kitty lovers out there! Guess what! You don’t have to go to Japan or Thailand to experience Hello Kitty heaven anymore. Why? Because we have it here in Cebu!
Tumblr media
A year ago, I found out this cute salon and spa upon scrolling my news feed on FB. I immediately searched the location and was surprised it is just beside our college university. Okay, to make things easier for you, it is at GXS Plaza, beside University of Cebu - Banilad, across Country Mall. It’s nearby the Lovey Doggy Cafe, like just blocks away. But I have a serious phobia with dogs no matter how adorbs they are. So I have no plans on blogging about that cafe. Or maybe I will. Just maybe. I am not paid to blab about this salon anyway. I wanted to keep it for myself and for some who already knew, but then I realized I shouldn’t be selfish. So, you’re welcome!
Here’s the façade of the salon. I think I would like it more if they named it Hello Kitty Salon and Spa, but the thing is, I am not the owner. So Pink Strawberry Beauty Spa and Salon it is!
Tumblr media
Their attendants are accommodating. I’ve only been here twice. The last time was last year and they still remembered us. Maybe I’d get a discount on my third visit. Lol. And a free mani-pedi when they find out I am blogging about their salon.
Tumblr media
They also sell some goods but I didn’t buy any. I am already full just looking at Hello Kitty everywhere.
Tumblr media
I have only tried their manicure and pedicure. Rate starts at Php80 - 150 depending on the nail polish quality.
Tumblr media
I have inquired about their Swedish massage. It would cost you 300 pesos.
Tumblr media
They have comfortable sofa and chairs, but I suggest they can have like boundaries for each client. Just in case I don’t like my seatmate, I don’t have to pretend she has pretty nails.
Tumblr media
I imagined myself sitting on one of those revolving chairs and someone’s working on my hair.
Tumblr media
They also sell beauty products. They used to sell glow-in-dark nail polish but I didn’t get one last time, so now I regret. No more available. I’m so sad.
Tumblr media
Okay, bag not for sale. That’s mine. I thought it would look cute there, but it didn’t.
Tumblr media
It looks like a toy but it actually works as a real telephone. My heart, please.
Tumblr media
Now I’m taking back what I said on my introduction. To you HK lovers, you should still go to Japan, Hongkong, Thailand and to everywhere in the world that has anything to do with Hello Kitty. Also, you can share with me your experience, together with your photos. Japan, please come nearer to Cebu. I cannot afford a plane ticket.
Let me know if there are other HK places to go within Philippines. Pretty please. :)

Camotes Island Invasion | Where to Go
It was year 2015 when I first visited this island and promised to myself I’d go back one day. Well, I just did two years later. Last week, my officemates and I went to Camotes for our summer outing. It was just two days though. If you’re from Cebu, then I could guide you on how to get there.
HOW TO GET THERE:
Ride a jeepney bound to Danao from North Bus Terminal. I forgot how much is the fare but I think it’s Php35-40. Tell the driver to drop you off at Danao Port. It’s beside Jollibee.
Tickets are sold there at Php180 for one way. A barge will take you to the island for at most 2 hours. The earliest trip is at 5:30am. Be sure to come at least an hour early. The line at ticket counter would take you long. They also have trips at 11am and 3pm, if I am not mistaken.
Once you get to the island, the adventure begins. You may ride a motorcycle or tricycle that would take you to where you wanna stay. There is no taxi there, just so you know. Well, there are multicabs, too, that you could rent but I have no idea how much they’d ask. If you go on a group, they charge 100 per head. It depends on how you haggle with the driver.
Last 2015, I toured around the northern part of the island. And just recently, I invaded the southern part. Alright, I guess I have conquered the whole island already. In fact, I have been to the island across it, too. I was invited for a holy week celebration. Why do I keep saying the word island? Lol.
Now, here’s a tip that would cost you additional money to shell out, but it’s worthwhile anyway. So, on the second day of our team outing, we didn’t have an itinerary. Most of the gang just slept and took a good rest since they stayed up until dawn by the shore. AJ and I decided to tour around. We rented a scooter for Php500. That’s the normal rate, regardless if you use it for a whole day or half. You can go anywhere you want! On our next getaway, we will rent again a scooter, so we can sulit the trip. It’s more convenient than renting a car and it’s cheaper. Plus, I can spend time alone with the boyfriend. Yaiks! Also, we ticked off roadtrip from our bucketlist on that day. By the way, you can just ask the residents there on where to rent scooters or cabs. The people are friendly anyway.
On the way, we just relied on google maps since there are roads where you can ask no one because there are no residents. But every now and then, we asked people for directions just to clarify if we were still on the right track. Also, the signal there is limited. Good thing we have network options. I am a Smart user while AJ is a Globe user. There’s not much signal on Smart there.
Okay, I should start talking about the tourist destinations you shoud visit there before this blog gets longer.
WHERE TO GO: Photo diary starts here.
Tumblr media
Santiago Beach Resort. Enjoy late afternoon walks here and dip your toes into the white sand. You can also set up a tent and sleep there at night. There are also tents for rent. Rates start at 100 for a small tent, good for 2.
Tumblr media
Buho Rock Resort. If you’re into diving, then you can do it here. I wanted to jump off also but you know, I don’t know how to swim. Wasn’t ready to risk my life. Lol.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Timubo Cave. I don’t know how to describe caves but this one is amazing. The first time I went here, I was confused where the cave was located, only to realize it was underground. It’s exciting going down. The way is slippery and narrow but the rocks are pointed, so you may wear slippers but just be careful.
Tumblr media
Bukilat Cave. It’s kinda horror and intriguing inside. They allow swimming, but it was low tide when I went there last time, so wala akong napala.
Amazing Cave. Actually, we didn’t get inside the cave when we got there. We didn’t expect we’d get wet all over and we weren’t able to bring extra clothes. I have no idea what’s inside the cave. Someone just suggested us to check it out. You may search on Google for photos. It’s a new cave, I’ve heard.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Lake Danao Park. It’s one of the most popular tourist attractions there, but not so much activities to do here. They have boating, sakanaw, and horseback riding. You can tour around the lake for 30 minutes at 50 per head. The ride is good for two, so if you are single, then you better not try this one. Don’t make yourself lonely. Just kidding.
Tumblr media
Mangodlong Rock Resort. They call it their own version of Boracay for its white sand. There is also a restaurant there. Prices start at Php160. Not too pricy, but we had a bad experience. We had to cancel my order because it was almost been 30 mins and they haven’t served it yet. They have rooms for 2,200 good for 3 pax and there’s one for a family size, too. They have limited rooms only, so book ahead if you’re planning to stay overnight. Also, pool is available. 50 for kids, 100 for adult.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
My Little Island Hotel. As far as I could remember, their hotel room is 1,500 good for 2. It’s a bit far though, but if a 360 degree view of the province is what wakes you up, then it’s worth the travel. They also have pools. 100 per head for day use. Just bring your own food. The prices are a bit higher there. I’m just not sure if they have corkage fee.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Flying Fish Resort. The first time I saw a crystal clear water was in here. It’s the same road going to My Little Island Hotel.
If I missed some attractions, please let me know. I might go back to the island someday. Hope this blog helps. Feel free to message me for queries.
DISCLAIMER: I have more of videos than pictures during my trip, so all photos here are from Google. I ‘may’ upload a video soon. Emphasis on may since videos are heavy to upload. I don’t want to keep your hopes up. I know it hurts. Lol.

Pre-birthday Celeb
Tumblr media
Photo taken last April 15. Me and my close friend Emz (the one obviously holding the camera), had our pre-birthday celeb with our churchmates, Just a few of them. Only our batchmates. There were four boys with us but not in the picture. One of them is my boyfriend who did not join the swimming. Also, my brother came along.
We were actually disappointed when we got there. We traveled for like 20 minutes from the national road. The place is located on the mountain part of Lilo-an, Cebu City. The pool was so small and super crowded. An entrance fee of Php100 per head. So not worth it. I wouldn’t recommend the place to anybody. They charge 150 for a table which can only accommodate 4 -6 persons but we were 9 so we had to request additional chairs and guess what, they asked additional payment. We transferred to a cottage when it started to drizzle. Their cottages can fit 8 persons. It’s not that really big though.
The funny part about this trip was that we got lost. We relied on Google Map since none of us knew the exact location. And just like that, we have reached to a somewhat dead-end. Now I have trust issues with Google Maps. We have wasted so much time on the road. Well anyway, it’s over. Let’s just charge it to experience. By the way, the resort is called Ibabaw Mountain Resort. You gotta have a well-conditioned car to reach there. The road is narrow, rocky, and steep. I suggest you just look for another place.

Flaunt the Florals | Thrift Shop Haul
Tumblr media
I was supposed to post this OOTD last month but my Internet connection got crazy. This is long overdue but who cares. My dress is from a thrift shop. Mama bought for 35 pesos only. Yep, you heard that right. I forgot how much that shoes cost but it’s from a thrift shop, too. I am pretty sure I got it for less than 200 pesos. The bag is still from a thrift shop at 30 pesos. Oh, I just realized everything I wore in this outfit is from ukay-ukay. I don’t really shop at malls. I won’t pay for a thousand higher price and still look the same. After all, it’s about how you carry yourself. What are your thoughts on this outfit? Complete OOTD for less than 300 pesos!

The Departure and Arrival Gift
Omg it’s May already. How time flies! It’s his birth month again. I am still thinkin’ what should I get him for a present. Hope he’s not reading this. Speaking of birthday, mine was so memorable! All I ever wanted was to travel on my 25th year. I feel old huhu. And so my wish came true. My boyfriend and I, together with our friends, went to Boracay Island. I know it’s mainstream but whatevs. Our departure was on Thursday night, but was delayed for so long. I was bored and sleepy. Good thing I brought my scribble notebook and a pen. Well, I always have a pen in my bag. While I was so busy scribbling and humming, AJ started to record what I was doing. I thought he was using FB Live but when he suddenly pulled out a gift from his bag, I jawdropped. I had no idea how it fit in his backpack. The box was wrapped so cute, it even had a ribbon. Sure enough he was not the one who did the wrapping part because boys… Hahaha! He wanted me to open it right away. Y’know he’s always like that. He’s more excited than I am when he throws me a surprise. Sometimes he even gives me hints. He goes like, “Com’on, open it Babe! Open it! You’re gonna like it! You can use it for your artcrafts…” blah blah. Most of the time I tease him. I do not open it if he keeps on nagging. Okay, going back to the gift, I love it!!! I saw it in Scribe at SM Cebu but I never planned on buying it. Girl, way too expensive. I’m not gonna have lunch for two weeks if I’m buyin’ it. I don’t know why he bought it. I even forgot about it. Pricy things do not stay longer than two days in my mind. Lol. I only asked for a phone case when he insisted me to tell him what’s my birthday wishlist.
When we arrived back in Cebu, he handed me another gift again. You know what’s inside the two presents? Keep reading.
I told him I don’t want to open the gift yet but he was so persistent. So I forced a smile when he took a shot. Just kidding! I was excited to open it but not in the airport sweetie.
Tumblr media
And again, I gave in. So here is what’s inside. IT’S A CALLIGRAPHY SET!!! I repeat, A CALLIGRAPHY SET! I was gonna scream but we were in public so I just hugged the gift and kissed the guy on the cheek.
Tumblr media
On the day of my actual birthday, we were supposed to have lunch with my family, but then there was a change of plans. My relatives from Manila came by and my parents had to entertain them. So mama told me to just celebrate with my boyfriend. On our way to the dining place, he was filming me as I stepped into his car. I knew he had another surprise. Way too obvious, sweetheart. I thought he was gonna give me flowers, but whoah! It was a huge box. When he handed it to me, it was so heavy. I thought it was a microwave oven. Why would he give me such a thing, I thought. Okay maybe he wanted me to learn how to bake but nah, he knows we’re both not into baking. Then I thought it was a box full of art materials. But why so heavy man? I gave up guessing.
Okay, here goes myself leaning on the box bigger than me. Lol.
Tumblr media
Aaand here’s what is inside. It’s the die cutter I’ve been dreaming to have. I saw this on Youtube. If you’re into arts and crafts, you know how this works. I’ve been looking for this in Cebu but couldn’t find one. He ordered it from US. I’m cryinggg. This is a must-have for my little business.
I had the best birthday ever! Boracay blog will be up soon.

I was supposed to post my OOTD blog last night but the photos wouldn’t load. Guess the size is quite heavy or my internet connection is testing my patience again. Now I’m still working on that blog waiting for one photo to upload. If it still doesn’t, I’ll postpone the post on weekend maybe.
It’s almost holy week. My close friend and I planned for a getaway this weekend in celebration of our birthday. Hers will be on the 18th and mine is on 23rd. We might to go some pool and have fun with our churchmates our age. I wish they’d prepare a surprise for us. Haha! Those crazy fellas.
Can’t wait for next week to come. I should start packing this Friday for my birthday trip. Crossing fingers the weather wouldn’t be so killjoy on our travel date. It would be a great birthday gift for me. Just good weather and happy memories. I’m turning 25 real soon. Omg. Slow down age.

Forgive me, I wasn’t able to accomplish the 31-day blog post challenge for last month. I got so busy at work. I even had to study on weekends, I’m crying. We had to lessen our date time so he could teach me. I’m so slow in technical stuff but I got no choice. I have to learn it for the sake of not losing my job. Thankfully, I have a boyfriend who willingly sacrifices his time and effort on coaching me.
Anyways, summer’s here… my birthday’s near. I will travel on my birthday to somewhere beachy, wear some bikinis and get sun-kissed. So excited to dip into the water, walk by the seashore holding a buko juice maybe… and the other hand holding my love Adrian. I promise to take good photos and will blog about the trip.
Yesterday was so productive. It’s about a new beginning. As much as I would love to share it here, I don’t wanna jinx it. It’s something I’ve been longing for.
Okay so tomorrow is Monday again. Ugh! I hate Mondays! I’m a Saturday person. Y’know I think rest days should also take up to 5 days. I mean com’on, we’ve worked for 5 days straight. But well, that’s life – tough! I think I’m gonna hit the sack early tonight. I’ll just wait for AJ to finish his work. Poor darling, working so hard. Last night his friends invited him for a night out. I pushed him to go. He should spend some time with his friends. He’s a good boy so I only have to worry him driving late at night. I’m not the type of girlfriend who keeps on messaging him while he’s out with the guys. I let him enjoy and of course, remind to please behave. I just watched a movie while waiting for him. I usually sleep late when it’s Friday and Saturday night. By the way, the movie is Letters to Juliet. Now I wanna fly to Italy and not going back home until I have wandered all around the place. It’s just so romantic there, I’m so jealous. I wanna watch the movie again because of the setting. Somebody please take me to that place. It’s now on the top of my bucketlist. Kay, I won’t make this long since I have a new post coming up next. But Italy…

What’s In My Purse
Just coins and small bills. I don’t bring my wallet everyday that has my ATM cards and IDs. My mama would always remind me not to bring my valuable things to work. I commute everyday and the city is not just as safe as you want it to be. I already had lost two new phones and a wallet. So I learned my lesson enough. I only bring everything when AJ’s gonna pick me up and drive me back home.

Photograph of the Town I Live In
Tumblr media
This is Mandaue City. This is where I live. This is where heavy traffic happens everyday. I couldn’t post a photo of my little town for life security purposes. You might stalk me. Hah!

20 Facts About Me
1. I have a doraphia. I don’t touch animal fur or skin, no matter how adorbs they are. In short, I am not a pet lover but I do not hate animals though. 2. I am not a sweet tooth. I don’t get tempted by looking at those colorful and mouth-watering sweets. I would only like to take pictures of them. 3. I couldn’t go out of the house without applying body lotion, regardless if I did my brows or not. 4. I barely watch television and I think Abs-cbn’s ASAP is boring, as well as the other network’s similar show. I hate the commercials and the sound of the TV. Also, I only watch reality shows except PBB. But sometimes I do, like for one minute or two. 5. I have pairs of shoes I bought but never worn. I think they need to be given away so other people could use it. Or maybe I’d sell them for cheap prices. 6. I don’t like cold drinks, even cold water. So I don’t drink softdrinks and liquors. Well, except for fresh milk and Chuckie. 7. One of my dream jobs is to work with Candy Magazine. Something that involves writing articles. 8. I sleep with too many pillows and use all of it. 9. I had a baby sister for 6 years. She has joined our Creator in the year 2000. 10. I don’t know how to swim but I can float, like after a hundred tries and concentration to the highest level. 11. Hello Kitty is my first and forever favorite character, though I still wonder why the cat doesn’t have a mouth. 12. I am an HRM graduate and don’t know how to cook without a recipe. It’s not something to be proud of, I know. Just gimme time. 13. I couldn’t sleep without a blanket. 14. I am not afraid to try extreme rides. 15. I don’t like men with abs. I prefer chubby ones. Well, obviously, as you can see with my boyfriend. But of course, there’s always an exception. I still get a crush onto some guys who aren’t fluffy. Just no abs please.  16. I love arts and crafts. Everything DIY. In fact I have a little sideline business. I cater invitation cards/letters for all occasions and also giveaways. 17. I am a bookworm. I prefer reading books than party all night. 18. I am fond of cute stuffs, especially if they are pink, white, or gold. Those are my favorite colors actually.  19. I love to travel for free. Lol. Who doesn’t want to? Really, it’s my best way to unwind. I like long rides. 20. I crave for shrimps everyday and I know it’s not good.
