“Marinette! There's someone here who wants to see you.” Sabine peeked through the door. “Who?” Marinette asked out of curiosity. “It's better that you see it with your own eyes.” Sabine winked at her.  Marinette went down towards the bakery, finding Adrien sitting on a chair Tom offered him. “Adrien!” Marinette came closer to him, to greet him. Marinette's parents left the bakery and hid behind the door. Tom stayed peeking behind the door, to see what Adrien had to say. “Marinette I, I wanted to apologize. I know that the trip we had was a complete fiasco and I would like to make it up to you.”

Chapter 12 Preview:

Adrien landed on the first platform of the Tower, his chest tightening as more and more people were turned into pigeons. The air filled with the sound of cooing, peppered with Mr Pigeon’s maniacal laughter. This wasn’t some kind of political revolt, like the akumas of Adrien’s time. This – this was insane.

And all thanks to the modern era’s butterfly miraculous holder. Hawk Moth, Fu had called him.

Adrien frowned, distantly aware of the sound of people on the Tower crying out as they tried to leave, their shoes beating down the stairs. Fleeing like that, from such a tall structure, wasn’t safe. And racing for the ground wouldn’t help. The only thing that could was….

Me.

He swallowed hard. He’d never had to come up with a plan before. That was always Pascha’s department. He just did what he was told, and then he went home. But no chance of that now. Everyone in Paris depended on him – just like they all depended on Marinette, when she wore the Ladybug costume. Somehow, she’d been shouldering the responsibility for her city all on her own. She – she was incredible.

And he couldn’t let her down.

The air was crisp in the marble room where the gala was being held, and yet there was so much skin on display. Adrien shivered, glad to be in a suit, even if it was ill-fitting. Whoever was keeping Gabriel afloat while his father was in prison wasn’t checking quality as much as the real Gabriel had. Adrien’s suit tightened on his biceps. What he wouldn’t give to be wearing one of the costumes Marinette had made.

About the Miracu10us fanzine

This is first and foremost a digital zine, which means there is no inherent length constraint beyond what our time as editors permits.

That being said, while we will make every effort to include your submission, we reserve the right not to include things we find not in the spirit of this zine.

We want to keep this a safe space for all members of the fandom.

Please note that these are only guidelines.

We have zero tolerance to hate speech, bullying or threats.

LGQBTI+ community is welcome.

Please note that while we support all ships, not just the Lovesquare, we do not allow adult/child relationships or incest.

What we accept

In order for the project to be manageable, we may only take a limited number of submissions per person. In other words, please do not spam us.

We do not accept AI-generated work in any form.

Please make sure your submissions meet the following guidelines.

We do not accept character salt or bashing

All submissions should be SFW

Fanfiction

Eligibility: you must be a registered user on Ao3, as we will be adding your fic to the collection.

Please note that we will only include the title and summary (accompanied by a small number of tags) in the digital zine, with a link to the fic.

Must be less than 5,000 words.

Poetry and Personal Stories

No more than 2,000 words

Critical or Literary Analyses

No more than 5,000 words

When discussing NSFW fanworks, please make sure you do not use explicit terms.

Fanart

Digital art - resolution must be set at 300 dpi. For size references, A4 / 2480x3508px + some additional margin for a full-page art. Smaller sizes are also accepted, as long as the resolution is 300 dpi

Your artwork may be a sketch, portrait, line art, or fully rendered - it does not need to have a background

Traditional Media - please send a high-quality digital scan or photograph in good lighting

Comics

In addition to the requirements above, comics have a limit of 1 page

The maximum size is an A4 page in portrait mode

Physical

All of these must be related to Miraculous in some way, including recipes

All photos must be good quality (at least 1280 x 720 pixels, in good lighting)

Cosplayers

Good resolution image of yourself in costume, in good lighting

No images of children

The doll must be made by you

Recipes

Please make sure you own the copyright (e.g. this is your recipe) and it's not copied from another source

Crochet / Cross-stitch / Sewing

Please make sure you own the copyright to the pattern (i.e. this is your design)

Please supply the pattern as a high-quality image file

Please send a good quality photo of your finished cross-stitch so people can know what it's supposed to look like!
