Rion's eyes actually opened for a moment, before he shook his head.

"Ah... no, like I said, it'd be better to do this face-to-face... and um... in private..."

Face-to-face? In private? What had Rion so worried, but not willing to call Sora...? Wait... hold on, was his face a little... red? And he was trying to hide his face a little, too... could it be-?

The meeting was over before they knew it. Of course, it wasn't like everyone was totally willing to leave the air-conditioned building they were in... but oh well. Soon, only Rion and Reina remained, with Rion purposefully taking longer to pack up. Reina, of course, would be expecting him to start saying something. Rion only did that when he wanted to talk in private.

And, of course, he did.

"Reina, do you have a moment?"

Of course, that characteristic question. But he immediately launched into his question this time, not giving her enough time to reply.

"Do... you know if Sora's still at home? I messaged them earlier, but they haven't replied. Are they out somewhere?"

That's... odd. Rion seemed a little antsy today, his usually serene expression somewhat nervous, and definitely troubled.

Reina stopped in her tracks, taking a moment to register Rion’s question. It was quite strange. Out of everything she expected him to ask, that was probably the last option. It took her a second to think of an answer, turning to face RIon.

“Ah… I think they went outside. Couldn’t tell you where though.”

She looks at the other’s face, noting the clear nervousness of her friend. It was uncharacteristic of RIon to be like that, so it definitely bothered her a little.

“Why? Did something happen? It’s weird to see you so… Anxious.”

Rion stopped for a moment, then awkwardly chuckled, scratching his cheek.

"Ah... it's- it's not really... I just... had something I wanted to talk to them about. Something important. But... I'd rather do it face-to-face, you know?"

He began to fidget with a lock of hair. No, he was definitely nervous. That was a key sign that he was worrying.

"It's... it's fine, I'll just wait until they get back..."

This had to be something serious. And it probably couldn't wait, if Rion was so nervous...
