After the date the two of them had HALLE wanted to show him that she too can be a little sweet. Scanning through a menu she sat back comfortably trying to figure out what was best for him. After what seemed to be ten minutes the young woman finally decides on the meal. “This should tie him till lunch. Betty souls food. Smothered chicken wings with cheese eggs and grits with honey glazed biscuits hmm order one for myself.” It was another cheat day for her so why not take full advantage of the opportunity. Placing in her order she quickly swipes up going to their conversation thread.

📲 iMessage: so. I have brunch being delivered to you. It’s smothered chicken wings with cheese eggs and grits and a large flip flop sweet tea and lemonade. I hope your day goes well! Jay’s day had been another one filled with work and he had at least 3 people left before he was calling it a day. He had just finished up with a client when his phone off and he grabbed it to see that it was Halle. Reading over the text he nodded his head in response to her sending food because he hadn’t really ate.

📲: I appreciate that cuz I haven’t even ate at all today but as far as dinner goes I don’t have any suggestions. You can fix whatever you got a taste for, for your chest day.

Once he sent the text he put his phone down and got things cleaned up for his next client.

“You got jokes I see. You saying that as if I’ve never did anything considerate for you before.” He chuckled shutting her door and went around to the driver side, getting in and starting his car up. “I will just cuz you said that and I know it’ll get on your nerves.” Pulling off he headed towards their destination before he looked over at her. “How was ya day?” He asked before putting his focus back on the road.

“I just got here so not too long.” He told her as he used those moments to go and get himself together. He freshened up and exchanged the clothes he wore for work into something else and after awhile he eventually finished up. He went to grab his shoes putting them on along with grabbing everything else he needed. “I advise you to where comfortable shoes.” He told her as he straightened up his mess. Once she was finished he left out of the bedroom with her and the house, making his way over to the car he opened the passenger door for her.

He chuckled at her comment and nodded his head. “If you got the power to do that, then by all means. I would’ve caught you but it looked like you were gaining your balance before you would’ve hit the ground.” He told her as his eyes traveled to her shoes once more when she raised her leg and he shrugged his shoulders. “You know better than me so I’m not going to go against what you saying. I don’t know you to know the type of woman you are but as for that dancing. I’ll have to see that now so I can get some laughs out.”

Jay wasn’t the red carpet and paparazzi type so it wasn’t nothing for him to skip that fiasco and found his way inside the establishment they were at for the night. He had been making his way towards the bar before he crashed into another body and he stopped in his tracks before looking at the female. “You gotta watch where you going.” He told her before he chuckled at her comment before looking down at the shoes on her feet. “They look like regular shoes to me. Maybe you just got two left feet or something.” He joked as he placed his attention back on her face.
