Purple crushed velvet
http://www.modadox.com/purple-crushed-velvet/
While I was browsing for more velvet pieces, a really hit trend this season, I have found two of my favourite things in one,a slip dress made out of crushed velvet. The dress is from Zaful and I have matched it with a mesh black body and a velvet and fur choker, both from Zaful as well. Of course that I had to wear over the knee boots in this combination and I have just ordered these hot ones from Kurt Geiger. They also have a really cool collection of ankle boots that I personally adore.

Sweet autumn
http://www.modadox.com/sweet-autumn/

READY OR NOT…
http://www.modadox.com/ready-or-not/
… here I come, you can’t hide. Don’t know why this song came up in my mind by these shots. Maybe cause we were photographing me walking and going from one shot to another I saw myself walking as if I was playing a gif. Quite funny, but too much work for me to really make a gif out of it now. Not because I am lazy, but moreover because I am crazy busy! Another good reason for this title “ready or not”, cause whether I do or do not have the time, the lovely projects keep on coming.
Since my instagram is growing so quickly the emails from brands and companies have almost doubled up. I’ve always been very busy with my blog already so it’s kind of crazy to have even more projects coming up. But hey, I love my job! And what I love the most is that every project is different from the other and it’s always such a challenge to make the best of it.
Sometimes it isn’t easy, cause when I work on a project I think in visuals and from the very beginning I know exactly what I want the photos of videos to look like. However, the result is always different from what you expect. Sometimes it’s better, sometimes it’s not even comparable. Still good, but just so different from what you had in mind.
Lucky me, I have become more and more aware of this and it helped me to not be picky and perfectionistic all of the time. After all, this is the type of work that should also be fun. Cause that’s what I want to radiate to others.
With this look, shot in Milan during fashion week, I think I was radiating a casual no nonsens vibe. I am wearing one of my favorite duster coats (too bad that it’s gotten too cold in Amsterdam to wear it nowadays) and my velvet beauties. Curious to know what you think of this look!

Autumn/winter gorgeousness
http://www.modadox.com/autumnwinter-gorgeousness/
As a blogger, I get asked quite often what is it that I enjoy most about what I do. The being my own boss thing? The clothes? The fact that I can sometimes take Mondays off? The brands I get to work with? The glamorous events? Truth is, I love all of that and more.(…) polishing colors

Block
http://www.modadox.com/block/
Still here in Moscow and enjoying every minute of it. Not only is the city architectual amazing, where you see industrial art on every corner, but it also flips your head a little and make you notice more than you usual would while visiting a multi-million city. Been going to shows and met so many interesting and talented people and designers (check my instastory @tineandreaa) and now I am getting ready for my last day here. Have a few shows left – think these ones are going to be a baller.

A fresh way to wear your jumpsuit: The one-shoulder look
http://www.modadox.com/a-fresh-way-to-wear-your-jumpsuit-the-one-shoulder-look/
Got a jumpsuit that has long sleeves and -preferably- a tie belt? Lucky you! That’s one of the most versatile items out there. Try this little DIY for example, it’s super easy and you’ll instantly look awesome. Perfect for a night out!
Here’s how to create the one-shoulder look:
1. Put on your jumpsuit like you’d normally do 2. Remove one of your arms from the sleeve 3. Wrap the sleeve around your back 4. Tie the end of the sleeve together with your belt 5. Fasten the belt
I’d say step 3 probably takes some extra work the first time, because you want it to drape nicely without getting bulky and creating unflattering bumps. Just make sure you use a jumpsuit that’s made from a flowy (not too thick!) fabric for the best result.
That’s it! Let me know if you’re going to try it out!

Pijama in the city
http://www.modadox.com/pijama-in-the-city/
This trend is really one of my favourites, but I wasn’t able to wear it because it is really difficult to find a nice pijama suit. Gladly, this one was actually on sale on Shein and I just love the floral print mixed with the striped detail added to the sides. I wore it with gold mules and my cuff clutch from Mnologie with a blue pouch.
I was wearing:

What’s Your Bridal Personality?
http://www.modadox.com/whats-your-bridal-personality/
Tumblr media Tumblr media

HOTEL REVIEW: INTERHOME HOLIDAY APARTMENT, MILAN
http://www.modadox.com/hotel-review-interhome-holiday-apartment-milan/
Now that I am back in Amsterdam everyone seems surprised when they walk into me: “Are you in The Netherlands again?!” Since I have been on a lot of trips the past few weeks it seems to be weird when I am in my own hometown all of a sudden, but I must admit that I like the way that things are going. Traveling this much gives me the opportunity to inspire you guys in one of my fav categories, especially hotel reviews. Over the past few months holiday houses and apartments have become more and more requested over hotels. We all know the concept of Air Bnb, but did you guys know about Interhome already? May I fill you in on all the details please…
When I go on a trip for work or fun, there are a few important criteria I look at when looking for a place to stay. One of them is the hotel or apartment on itself: is it spacious, does it have a nice bedroom, maybe a swimming pool; I normally judge on photos. Another key factor would be the location: is it near the places I need to go to, mostly the centre of the city? And last but not least, what is the price – that is, if I am paying, not to be braggy.
I think you can all find yourselfs in these criteria. But after traveling so much I would like to add one other important criterium: does it feature all I need and does it feel like a real all inclusive home? I’ve come to the conclusion that the latter is mostly found when hiring a full apartment. Unfortunately, you won’t have your own kitchen, a spare bedroom or an entire living room in most regular hotels. So instead of looking for a hotel, I tend to look for apartments more and more. That’s why I am super happy to work with Interhome, as they provide a wide range of holiday homes in more than 200 destinations worldwide. Booking is easy and the possibilities are numerous. You can find yourself in a typical Parisian flat including cute balcony somewhere in the middle of Le Marais, you can go for a mountain chalet in the alpes or a villa with swimming pool somewhere tropical. And what I love most about it, is that all of the houses are quality tested.
For my first Interhome experience I went to Milan with a friend. Mean and I were there for fashion week, but I will just go ahead and admit that I was super happy that we hadn’t many shows and presentations planned which is why every evening we were exhausted, but happily, enjoying our wonderful couch and the spacious apartment in a lovely part of Milan. It’s so nice to get back from the fashion week buzz and escape from the big bubbly city in a cozy apartment like this where we have everything at hand. Mean and I even cooked ourselves dinner some nights. Sigh. I already miss it as it is bigger than my own apartment haha.
Now, normally I would put all hotel reviews on scale and base my ratings on the services of a hotel, but as this post is more about the overall services of Interhome and this will not be the last time I took a stay via interhome, I will not dig into criteria such as location, room, food & drinks etc as these will all differ per booking. For overall service I will give a straight 9, as I think that everything was handled very well. Our key was brought to us as soon as we got to the location, the key holder helped us everywhere he could and the booking through Interhome went totally fine. The recommendation rate will get a 9,5 since I really think that Interhome is one of the best of it’s kind. They stand out with the kind of holiday homes they offer, and it’s not even that pricey.
I will definitely be browsing Interhome more often. How about you?

Fall in love with fall
http://www.modadox.com/fall-in-love-with-fall/
There are many things I like about October. The beautiful colors we find in nature, the pumpkin spice latte, the way the world seems a little quieter. It’s a transitional period in all aspects which for me starts on a crisp yet sunny morning when for the first time during the season I start layering(…) polishing colors

Furry vest

H&M furry vest / ZARA blouse / GUCCI belt / VILA pants / ASOS heels
Hey guys! I haven’t posted anything in a little while because I’ve been sooo busy! I went to
The Blog Awards on Friday and yesterday I went to another party, so basically I haven’t had time
for much else, including sleep. But now that that’s over I’m back with a look I’ve been super excited
to share. I finally styled an outfit with my latest obsession: this Gucci belt! I was going for a 70’s
kind of vibe with these glasses. I really like these and wish I could wear them all the time! Even when
I wear sunnies I feel like aviators suit my face the best. Since we’re still in autumn I wanted to wear
this long oversize faux fur vest which I only wear with wider pants because otherwise it makes my
legs look tiny! Haha! The red heels felt like the perfect detail to make this minimal outfit a little more
exciting so it wouldn’t all be just black and white. Hope you guys had a good weekend!

Sporty

Tumblr media Tumblr media
ASOS hat / MANGO blazer / ZARA knit / pants (similar here) / DINSKO heels
Hey guys! Here’s another look with this zipped knit which I can’t seem to get enough of.
This time I was going for a sporty vibe. Can’t remember the last time I wore something sporty
(outside of the gym) but I think this is a subtle way to incorporate it into my style by avoiding the
obvious sporty items like a bomber jacket and going with a blazer instead. Knowing me of course
I wanted to wear heels with this look instead of flats. I think all black looks are always very
edgy but I wanted to add a pop of color to this look with these white heels for a little more detail.
I’m really drawn to androgynous looks at the moment. I think there’s something really cool
about women wearing more masculine silhouettes because it’s not too expected..
