Today, with heartfelt dedication and care for our people in Gaza, we were able to provide hot meals of rice and chicken to over 500 families. The situation is incredibly difficult, but thanks to God and the continuous support from generous donors, we were able to offer these meals that brought new hope to many people in these tough times.

Since the start of the crisis in Gaza, we have been committed to providing all the aid we can, both food and other necessities. The hope we see in people’s eyes when we deliver food is what drives us to keep going, no matter the challenges. Today, just like every day, we are here to extend a helping hand to those in need.

But we cannot do this alone. Your support is what makes this work possible. With your donations, we can expand our efforts and provide more aid to those affected. We are in urgent need of collective action so that we can continue this important mission.

Today, February 15, 2025, we distributed shoes to children in Gaza, who are struggling with a lack of basic necessities due to the difficult conditions they are enduring. These shoes will help protect their feet from the cold and the harsh circumstances they face every day.

My little son Bahaa I can't believe what happened How will I tell him that he lost his room, his toys and his new bag.. How will I tell him that I tried to search under the rubble for the remains of his toys that he dreams of returning home to play with... Bahaa is 5 years old How will he understand all this.. He loves playing, writing and drawing Now he has no home, no playroom, no writing, no drawing, no education... I want to register Bahaa in a kindergarten so that he can write, draw and play again... 6-year-old Joan Al-Habil is has been repeatedly hospitalized due to severe gastrointestinal problems and overwhelming fatigue. This poor girl has been to multiple facilities and seen multiple doctors, undergone extensive testing (as extensive as is possible in Gaza's collapsed medical system), even having to endure an unsedated endoscopy.

She has now been diagnosed with severe gastritis due to starvation and hazardous living conditions. Remember, she and her family are living on the streets, which are cold and wet due to winter rain. Homelessness, stress, exposure to the elements, her previous injury when the lOF firebombed her tent, and malnutrition all conspire to sap little Joan of her strength.

Her condition is so serious that she even had to undergo surgery. Gastritis very rarely requires surgery to treat, so this is an indication of how dire her condition is. The surgery was successful to a degree, but she is going to need ongoing treatment to manage her symptoms.

The treatments are administered weekly and cost $500 USD (just under €500 EUR). Her family has no income and cannot afford this. If Joan goes more than a few days without treatment, her symptoms worsen rapidly, and she sometimes has to be hospitalized. It is vital that we help her family procure her treatments so that her condition does not worsen!

Every day brings the threat of freezing temperatures, and rainwater can flood our small space, putting us at risk of drowning. The cold can lead to serious health issues, such as chest infections and chronic illnesses.

my friend @amalashuor's fundraiser hasn't received any donations in four days. Amal is over 80% of the way to her current goal of €75k, but since the ceasefire engagement has slowed down noticeably and seems to only be stagnating further.

for context, Amal is relying on this campaign to provide not only for herself, her husband, and their little daughter Maryam, but also for more than 20 other family members. securing the basic necessities of life for anyone is extremely difficult already, but getting the supplies a young child needs to stay healthy is nearly impossible: when diapers, milk, nutritious food, and warm clothes are available, they are scarce and incredibly expensive. with Gaza currently undergoing severe winter storms, it is paramount that vulnerable toddlers like Maryam and Amal's young nieces and nephews have appropriate clothing and shelter.

Amal and her family have suffered countless deprivations and hardships over the past 15 months of genocide, almost all of which did not end with the ceasefire. she and her husband have watched their beloved daughter growing up amid destruction and constant danger, unable to reliably provide for her or keep her safe from harm. they are still struggling just to stay alive, and they still need our solidarity and support.
