I know this seems small and random but..
Tumblr media
It may not be that appealing but wow it tastes really good!
You can get it from Times Cineplex food store for a cheap price. The crunch, the sauce, and everything is just good so i think it deserves to be posted.
Do check it out!

Series of Foods (1/3)
So let me start this series with..
Tumblr media
Ice cream!
Im excited to do this mini foods or snacks series because it seems interesting
So i started off with gelato ice cream from dream cones which was actually quite nice and the price is also affordable with a variety of flavours that you can try. Other than that they also serve different kinds of foods from fries to even selling drinks! So it was really a great experience for me and i do recommend to check it at Kiulap, Regent Square
Here is another photo
Tumblr media
It looks good doesnt it? So go on ahead and check it out!

Colobaba
Posting kinda late but in my time zone but i would say that this deserves a special mention.
Tumblr media
This image was taken from the official Colobaba Brunei Facebook page at https://m.facebook.com/colobaba.bru/
It has been famously known in Brunei to have a lot of customers and they sell different kinds of drinks ranging from fruit juices to milk teas. The price also varies frrom drink to drink but what stays the same is the great taste of it.
It was my first time buying it to see what is all the hype and craze about and thought to give it a go myself and so i did and it tasted really good. I guess it was not a typical kind of drink too. I do recommend people to buy it if they do not mind to wait for the long queue and preparation time because Wow! It is really good!
Currently i am only aware of their Kiulap branch at Regent Square so if you are interested then do check them out!

Da On
Apart from Kmart, Da on is also a restaurant serving korean cuisine. The finest i've tasted so far. It is located at Riverside near Kiulap. It gave me a nice comfortable vibe but the price can be abit too much for some people. I mean, look at those foods..
Tumblr media
But regardless, it still tastes really good and i would recommend to eat here. The staffs are friendly as well. So if you ever feel like eating these kinds of food, this place is good to satisfy your craves!
Let me give another view..
Tumblr media
Does that look good? Craving yet? Head over there to check out the menu and satisfy your hunger!

K mart?
Well i just had to post this too today. Kmart is basically like a small shop oferring a variety of korean foods and items. So you can buy food packets like noodles or eat it at the shop after they cook it. It is really nice to eat but it can be crowded at some time as alot of people do like to eat there
If you're a fan of korea then you're sure to like this. So head on over there! They are located in Gadong, Serusop and Beribi (as far as i know of)
Dont know korean? No problem the staffs can help you with the choices!

Fast Food
Kinda fast kinda expensive. You know what kind of food it is. McDonalds is famous. No more needed to say. But let me keep it fast too.
Tumblr media
So i tried two of their burgers, Spicy Chicken McDeluxe and GCB. I'll be honest both taste great! But for the price, its less than $10 but for a burger? Im not so sure if thats cheap or affordable. But these kinds of foods are worth it too.
Tumblr media
I k ow this image may not seem appetising or appealing, maybe there was a problem on its assembly but it still tastes good.
The environment is good too so head on over! Its located in Jerudong, Lambak and Gadong. As if you wouldnt know

Ban Nucha
Craving for some spicy Thai food but also Indo food? well that's what i felt too. Ban Nucha offers a variety of food that fuses Indo and Thai to make their IndoThai Cuisine. In addition, they also have a great and calm environment. Located in The Mall, Gadong with a price range of $ only!
Tumblr media
Let me side track for abit. Countdown was great!
Okay back to Ban Nucha, two of the foods i ordered was Wagyu Indomie which can be spicy or not depending on your choice but yes, its wagyu beef with indomie. some of you would probably want that. the other food was Tomyam Spaghetti. if youre wondering how it looks like..
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Sorry for the large image but these are the foods i mentioned. tomyam soup with spaghetti noodles giving it a flavour of spicy, sour and a little bit of sweetness. The indomie is really good too. I’m pretty sure that most of Bruneians love indomie and wagyu beef is really good so think about it.

Pepperlunch
Once in a while, two posts in a day? This will be a longer post so very sorry for that.
WOW! Pepperlunch is also a well known restaurant among students. Originated from Japan and now reaching Brunei. A place serving fast food where you cook it yourself, kinda.
Tumblr media
Look at the smoking hot food served right from the kitchen. A favourite but expensive place to eat for.. lunch? Here are two more pictures to show the foods.
Tumblr media
Both served uncooked on a hot plate that cooks your food while it is being served. so basically a fast food for heavy meals that costs really more than average. Still the service had been great and the food quality is very high. you can also upgrade your meal to be served with drinks and appetizers such as ice cream or mashed potato.
Not the be often visited to keep the quality and to not get used of the food quality. Ending today’s posts is with a good recommendation from me to go here once in awhile and enjoy. To end the hiatus, To end the endless streak of workloads, Enjoying good foods will do the trick.

Hiatus
Works.. Works.. Works.. Now to continue..
Cheezbox had been a well known place for dining. It’s located right next to The Mall in Gadong. I went to try it for my own experience.
Tumblr media
This restaurant has a menu that offers different foods available on different times. It offers a good quality of food to customers although the service can be slow or poor from time to time but that’s how it is everywhere.
Tumblr media
I had a short time so there is not too much to explain. I do apologise for the poor quality picture. It shows the food of seafood and chicken, both cooked and served well and gives a satisfying quality. The price is quite average too. Now to end things, I had not encounter any negative things so far, so that seems great. I do recommend this place for anyone going for dining.

A short lunch
A short lunch, A short post.
It was my first time here and although the restaurant has a vendor in UBD but i have not really went to the actual restaurant. Yes, myplace cafe is located in Kiulap near to Jungle Gym and Burger King.
Tumblr media
First time here, it was not as i expected. It was better than what i expected. The sun was hot and it had been a tiring day so i looked for a thirst quenching drink and a meal to keep my appetite and i came across this place.
For the food, terrible choices were made for my order due to the lemon overpowering the honey along with the sour mojito so i ended up with a lot of sourness. However, the carbonara had been smelling and tasting great. Price range? ($)
Overall, it had been a good experience though not the best, i would still go here otherwise, if offered to.

Starting Things Off
One of the local favorites and probably Singapore’s as well. Singapore Chicken Rice is a restaurant located in Citis Square, The Mall, Bunut and Bandar. It is quite famous for the name, chicken rice.
Tumblr media
Now i was thinking that this place is good to start off with. It has the common environment of any restaurant near a shopping centre. It has an extended dining area outside the restaurant as this place can be packed at some time of the day though not everyday.
As mentioned above, the place is famous for their chicken rice which costs an average price ($) though it may be slightly more expensive than the typical restaurants, it makes up for it with the taste it brings. this also explains the chili and soy sauce served specially for the chicken rice.
Tumblr media
The image above shows a serving of the chicken rice along with a glass of special tea ‘c’ while next to it is a serving of the lemon chicken sided with rice.
The taste was good. it had a salty soy sauce and slightly sweet and hot from the chili. However, the tea does fix up the balance with the sweetness. along with the sour lemon chicken which has quite a balance of the sourness with the “juiciness” of the fried chicken making it quite a pleasant food to eat.
Other than the food, the dining area was clean and the workers were friendly. the temperature felt right and the ease of calling with a simple button is very helpful. One more that also eased me is due to the acceptance of credit cards as payment although it has a minimum of ($$) to be able to use it.
Overall, it had been a satisfying meal while the price had been slightly above average for these orders and the environment was great at the moment. I would go there again when i do feel like having the vibe and foods.
