TPW TRILOGY SPOILERS!!!!!!1 kitay and his unwavering loyalty to Rin because it makes me SICK!!!

Kitay bro. His loyalty to Rin was so strong he literally DIED for her. He withstood (I said withstanded at first I deserve death.) The pain that was brought on by Rin using the power of the Phoenix. He did it without protest, he even ENCOURAGED her to push herself despite the fact that it was excruciating. He literally fainted, got back up and told Rin how well she did and for that I am going to throw up everywhere. all over the place. immediately. HIS POTENTIAL BRO he was meant to be a researcher, a philosopher, and instead he ended up on the front lines of a war he never wanted, side by side with the woman who was essentially his exact opposite. She was everything he wasn't!!!!! and he was everything she wasn't!!!1 im sick. He was her voice of reason, slowly becoming her only beacon of sanity. She was outspoken, unafraid. He wasn't. He felt everything she couldn't afford too - the grief, the heartache. He became a piece of her, as she became a piece of him. god im sick I hate it here

like. he deserved so much better. He never wanted the position he was given. He was too smart for it - he was never meant to be a general, he was meant to be one of the most brilliant minds in the history books of Nikan!!!!! instead he became a footnote, a piece of history that will never be remembered or recounted purely because of who he stood for. Not WHAT he stood for, because lets be soo clear. He never stood for what Rin was trying to do. Maybe in a broader sense he did, as if he supported it but it wasn't a cause he'd go to war for himself. SHE was the cause he'd go to war for. He didn't support her because of what she believed, he supported her because he believed in her. Also looping back to the fact that he'll be forgotten; obviously the war efforts will not. The overthrowing of Su Daji and in turn the attempt of overthrowing the republic Vaisra had created will always be remembered. But the symbol that Rin was will not be. It's a symbol that the Hesperians would have no control over, and she stood for everything they despised. Because Rin will likely be erased by the history the Hesperians will rewrite, Kitay too will be erased. His brilliance, everything he was, will become a distant memory until it is no longer kept alive. The only one keeping it alive is Nezha, and he too will be forced to forget. :(
