When Saki was in the hospital and Ichika would visit and show her a new song she found online then would sing along with it as the two of them listened }

And in just a few short moments, she had already failed at that. She’d taken her eyes off of her for one minute, and the tiny thing had disappeared.

{ Saki curled under a couch in Rui's house all by herself. She didn't have anything against An, but with how stressful the situation they're currently in with how her brother is sending himself back to somewhere dangerous, she just couldn't handle it and went off somewhere to hide }

{ It wasn't until she heard An sounding worried that Saki poked her head out from under the couch. She immediately felt bad seeing how worried An looked not knowing where she went. Saki walks out from under the couch, ears hanging low }

{ Saki climbs into An's hands, looking up at her as An speaks to her. It feels a bit better that An feels similarly to how she does over not being able to help. Saki couldn't even talk let alone fight. It's frustrating, the last thing she remembers before becoming this is contracting. With her wish she must have been supposed to be a really strong magi... she could of been able to help Tsukasa }

{ Saki let out a small whine and leaned onto An. She nodded, the closest she could do to promise that she's not run off and hide from her again }

{ Especially now... he never came back home today. She overheard her parents, they sounded worried sick as they talked about him "going missing like Saki did". She quickly ran off and whined in Tsukasa's room after that. }

{ But now it's the middle of the night, her parents are asleep, and Tsukasa still hasn't come home. She's scratching at the front door and crying }

[Akito would be lying if he said he wasn’t worried as well. He does a good job of hiding it, but in truth he can’t help but be concerned that Tsukasa still hasn’t come home.

He can’t sleep that night. He lays across the couch, trying his hardest to at least humor the idea of falling asleep, but to no avail. What certainly doesn’t help is the crying of that cat thing — Saki, he corrects himself — and the scratching on the door. He sighs, sitting up and making his way to the front door.]

{ Saki's ears droop as Akito speaks. She takes her paw off the door and looks at the floor again. She's silent for a while before eventually nodding. Going back to sitting there not saying a word }

{ Saki curls up onto Usa's lap and purrs happily. It is a little surreal being smaller than a plushie, but at least it feels nice to cuddle with }

{ This led to Saki exploring everywhere her tiny body would let her explore so she could say hello to Rui. Eventually she finds the door to the garage, slightly open enough that she could make her way inside. Her tail wagged excitedly as she noticed a familiar purple haired boy inside }

{ Saki tilted her head in curiosity up until Rui revealed Usa to her. Saki was immediately excited upon seeing the bunny. She began running around the plushie, eyes practically sparkling as she looked at her }

{ She couldn't exactly tell Usa "hello there" herself but she hopes the bunny got the idea at least }

She jolts up in a panic, afraid that Miku had successfully taken her from Tsukasa somehow while she was asleep. She frantically looked around until she spotted Tsukasa, who was sleeping peacefully on the couch above her. She calms down and tries to hop up to be back with her brother again }

{ She tries again multiple times, despite her small body making it extremely difficult. She let out some sad noises as she keeps trying and failing }

[An wakes up in the middle of the night, blinking in confusion as she hears what sounds like… not quite meowing, but similar coming from the living room. She furrows her eyebrows. Rui had his plushies, but as for a real cat she didn’t think the Kamishiros had any.

She sits up, slipping out of the guest room quietly to make her way to the living room, where Rui’s friend had decided to sleep for the night. She doesn’t see anything at first, until—]

Any minuscule chance of Miku getting Saki to trust her is broken in an instant. Horror becomes anger as she glares at Miku before running to Tsukasa's side. She whimpers and nudges him trying to get him to stand back up so they could get away from Miku together }
