Today’s finished project is a pair of mittens.

After washing and drying, and when they were originally finished.
Action shots showing how they will be used when it’s a bit colder out.

The knitting process:

And the spinning process:

The grey yarn was something in my handspun bin - so spun sometime in the past (2 - 15 years old, who knows). I still have a fair amount of both yarns left so they will likely appear again soon.
I’ve been making an effort to knit the yarn I’ve spun in the past few years - and I’m really enjoying it. The last few projects I’ve finished and shown here were all using yarn spun in either 2022 or 2023. Knowing I was going to be knitting them right away made me spin a bit more intentionally during tour de fleece. I had some strong opinions on what each yarn wanted to be by the time I was washing them at the end of the month. I was also very glad to find a coordinating yarn in my bin so I could continue using handspun.
