Another hilarious Spuffy/Bangel comparison is how Angel complains and bemoans never being able to go out into the sunlight, even says he’s jealous of Xander for being able to see what Buffy looks like in the sun (2x02), just constantly complains, and never tries to see Buffy during the day.

Then you have Spike… Mr “I was in the neighbourhood”, Mr “Security Blanket”, Mr literally constantly appears smoking and covered with a blanket because he couldn’t bear staying away during the daylight hours. I don’t think he complains ONCE about being a “creature of the night”, because it quite simply doesn’t stop him.
