the stars shimmered brightly in the night sky, as the sunset casted a deep blue hue over the playground. with a playful tug, monica grasped his hand, their hands intertwining as the comforting warmth radiated from his contact.

“hurry up slowcoach” she teased, pulling him towards the playground gate. he stumbled slightly, an amused grin spreading across his face.

“i’m coming, calm down mom” he replied, his tone a blend of mockery and teasing. his dimples appeared and his eyes sparkled, reflecting the moon in his pupils - he was just so enchanting.

they laid on the basket swing, facing each other in comfortable silence, lost in one another’s eyes. “ you know you’re so pretty, right” monica said to him, “you’re so pretty i could kiss you right now” his plush lips curled into a smile, “then go on” he said back. she hit his chest playfully. “you flirt” he chuckled and leaned forward to gently kiss her forehead, his warm touch lingering on her skin.

his hand snaked around her waist, bringing her closer “i love you monica”. he gently played with her locs as the swing continued to sway softly.

“i love you too, chris”
