"XIAO!!!”

You called out multiple times while you fighting back treasure hoarders, Paimon watched from the sidelines, trying her best to call out Xiao while also avoiding the hands trying to grab her as well

You attacked as best as you could, but it didn't help how there were too many closing in on you.

Paimon looked away for a couple of minutes, then heard you cry out in pain

She paused and quickly flew out of reach and looked where you were; you collapsed on the ground, harboring a gash on your chest

The culprit who did it shouted in triumph for taking you down, stepping down on your wound and smiled when you yelled out in agony

Paimon looked around in a panic and saw a white haired figure rushing to the area. Shenhe rushed towards you with a frosty aura covering her

She quickly took care of the surrounding treasure hoarders before the ones surrounding you could react

Releasing her spirit, the air turned cold as the men around you stood there, confused at the sudden temperature change

Only in a matter of seconds, all of the men laid on the ground unconscious. Shenhe quickly assessed your current state and health while Paimon teared up at the possibility of you dying

Shenhe had rushed you to Bubu Pharmacy, where Baizhu took you to the back and starting patching you up

Shenhe stepped out and went to a secluded area to check with Paimon:

“What happened? I know the Traveler is strong but how did they get hurt this badly?”, Shenhe questioned.

“Good question, it started off as a small group of treasure hoarders but then a lot of them showed up and caught us by surprise”

Paimon shrugged as Shenhe glanced over at the pharmacy, when Paimon added, “Also since we were in the region, we tried calling for Xiao, but he never appeared”

This had set things off. Shenhe rushed off once more without a word, leaving Paimon in confusion

Cloud Retainer questioned why Shenhe returned so soon, but that was ignored when she spoke out the yaksha’s name, summoning the boy

He appeared, confused by his summoning when he saw Shenhe glaring at him

“What’s the meaning of this? I had other things to tend to-“

“Like what?”, Shenhe questioned, “Other things surely wouldn’t concern the safety of the Traveler when they called out your name multiple times, and I do recall you saying that you would always answer their call”

Xiao’s eyes widen with shock, his face were shocked one second, confused the next

“What do you mean the safety of the Traveler? I didn’t hear their voice calling me”

“Hm.. so the Traveler was convinced that if they called your name, you would come rescue them, and yet you never came… Perhaps you heard Paimon and only thought that she were playing a trick on you..”

Shenhe ended her sentence with a cold glare towards the boy. She quickly left to return back to Bubu Pharmacy, leaving Xiao with a single tear leaving his face..

Adding our newest anemo boy ^^

Settling down at the agreed meeting place, you tremble with anxiety, fear of what his reaction will be.

What if he finds them to be repulsive? What if he just says nothing and leaves? What if he simply gets mad because I never told him about them?

Many “what ifs” floated around in your head as your wings stretched out, covering very little of your figure. Then a familiar noise could be heard, signifying that he had arrived.

Now comes the moment of truth…

Scaramouche ~Torn Wings~

"Why did you ask to meet out here of all places..."

His words trailed off when he saw the skeleton frame of your wings. The dark patches of dried blood near the base and joints proved that whatever was there was ripped from you; stolen..

"I don't like them, they're hideous but I can't change them..."

Folding them and hiding them behind your back like a child ashamed of their gift. Scaramouche looked to be deep in thought about your predicament, not saying a word at all

"What happened?" was what he said as he placed himself behind you, getting a full view of your wings

"I was casted down, thrown out from the heavens because of an incident that I didn't do or commit. I wasn't even a part of it yet here I am, constantly plagued by the words that she said to me after my sentence was ruled out"

"Which is?" Scaramouche said as he carefully stretches out a wing

""I hope you like it down there with fate, even the gods can't escape it"", you scowled remembering the so-called angel’s words

"Hm.. but why are these torn?"

"That was a punishment and a statement from the others; to make sure that I could never fly back up. The pain I felt when my feathers were ripped and when I hit the ground; I don't want to feel it ever again”

You feel a hand in between the base of your wings, then another on your lower back

“Discarded from the heavens, having your flight permanently taken away from you and forcing you to live among mortals and lowly gods. That’s quite the punishment”

You lower you head at Scara’s words, feeling like he’s talking down on you and and making fun of your fate

He notices this and sighs,

“I would say that I had worse, but you came from above while I were only a failed puppet. But don’t take my words so harshly, I’m only voicing my surprise”

Placing himself in front of you, he lifts your head and slightly glares at your sad expression

Feeling his hand cupping your cheek seemed to activate the waterworks inside. You looked into his indigo hues with tears forming your own

“Kuni, I’m a fallen angel, a disgrace, a disappointment, and a fail-“

You didn’t finish your sentence, because his lips were against yours, silencing your words as tears fall down your cheeks

Breaking away, Scaramouche wipes your tears as you attempt to stop crying. Trying to hold your head down but the firm grip on your chin kept you from doing so

“Keep your eyes on me, now breathe in and out, slowly..” he spoke softly at you

You stopped crying after a short while, Scaramouche, on the other hand, was looking over you as you lay on your stomach in the grass

With your back to the sky and your wings still out but folded, Scaramouche took one of your wings and stretched it out

This sparked a reaction from you, "Hey, what are you-"

He applied a bit of anemo to the frame, letting the energy snake around the bones and attach themselves to the small bit of feathers that were still present

The energy shaped itself to act as feathers for your wing. Scaramouche did the same to your other wings and soon; your torn, featherless wings glowed with the teal feathers that adorned the frame of your wings

You sat up and stretched to your full wingspan. Amazed; shocked; and confused as you look over the teal feathers that replaced the long forgotten white ones

"I was a puppet for the electro archon, a fatui harbinger, and a failed god that attempted to replace the dendro archon; not to mention but I also had access to a widespread of so much knowledge in the world, so giving you a new set of feathers wasn't too hard"

Scaramouche explained as you slowly stood up. He watched as you attempt to flap your wings once, twice, then you sprang up in the air

Disappearing in the clouds above, wanderer stood up in disbelief, thinking you left to ascend to the heavens after so long. He waited for what felt like 10 minutes (was only a minute), then scoffed and turn to continue on a path to anywhere

Then suddenly his feet left the ground as he was now ascending as well, looking at you as you wrapped your arms around his waist and brought him up into the night sky with you

"H-hey! Put me down, I don't want to fall to my death!" Scaramouche yelled out, but you stayed quiet as you fly higher and place yourself above the clouds

The stars twinkled above the two of you, Scara was marveled at the beautiful sight

"Thank you for letting me experience this again, but why should I ascend back up when down here is better when I have you?" You spoke quietly..

Agony..

Warning: Torture

Screams were heard, they sounded horrible and hurtful. Looking into the room, you were screaming from the intense torture you were enduring

His eyes widen at the state you were in, then on came the anger and rage, taking place in his mind

The spirit inside took over Cyno as he charged full on at the device causing you pain, destroying the core with vibrant claws

He looked over at you, seeing that you passed out from the pain. He then looked over at the group of people who stood and watched over your pain and agony

“Be called forth and receive judgement..”

Opening your eyes and seeing a familiar ceiling, you carefully sat up and looked around at Cyno’s room. Then you looked to your side and see him stirring at your side

“You’re finally awake, after 2 weeks”

“Two weeks? What happened?”

“Take a look at your stomach and legs”

You lift up your shirt to reveal bandages covering it, then lift up the blankets to see your legs in the same state. You sighed at the sight and lay back down next to him

“Hey, don’t feel so sad about it, your body took a beating but you’re still here right next to me and that’s all the matters”

Taking your hand in his, Cyno brings it up to his lips and places a soft kiss on the back of your hand

"Do I ever make you regret meeting me?"

Kaeya paused, then continued brushing through his hair. His silence was slowly making you worry about your sudden question

He then turned around with no expression at all, and walked towards you; pushing you down on the bed with his signature smirk

"Me? Regretting ever laying eyes on your sweet self? Never~ In fact, I'm glad I met you, charmed you and even seduced you. To ever think such a thought would be terrible, don't you think?"

With a finger lifting your gaze to meet his, a slight blush dusted your cheeks as you took in his words

"K-kaeya.." was all you could whisper out

"Don't say my name like that angel, you don't wanna know what you do to me.."

A simple peck to your lips,

"You decided to stay with me, so I'm your problem now; we're stuck together forever, and as they say: 'till death do us part'"

Today was really not the best day..

You fell asleep in your first class, took a test in your second and had to write an essay in the span of one class block for your third class

Now, it was time for the last class of the day and honestly, you didn’t even want to go to that class yet it was your favorite class and most of your friends were in there; but more importantly, Kazuha was in that class

You liked Kazuha, loved his presence and loved the comfort he offered

You walked into the door and went to go sit in your seat, you notice that Kazuha hadn’t arrived yet, so you waited a bit; resting your head on your desk

Watching your other friends walking in and saying hi to you, you responded with a smile yet internally you hoped that he was here

Finally, you saw the teacher coming in and telling the class to quiet down, signifying that class was about to start

Your mood immediately dropped as you hid your face in your arms, thinking that he wasn’t here and you would have to go this class block without him

“Excuse me, I was helping a teacher pick up her papers”

You quickly looked up and saw that platinum blonde hair with a red streak. The teacher just ignored his excuse and told him to sit down

Kazuha made his way over to his seat next to you. Sitting down and noticing that your seat is closer to his

You grabbed his hand and held it in your lap, trying your best to ignore his gaze and act like you were paying attention to the teacher

In the corner of your eye, you see him smile and give a squeeze to your hand

“Nice to know that you find relief in my company”

Albedo

• Dear chalk prince is already thinking up possible hypotheses and theories to be surprised

• He isn’t really worried about the sudden appearance of an arm or leg detaching by accident since you spend a lot of time in Dragonspine

Although Sucrose was very anxious around you, Albedo seemed rather calm, he’s made of chalk after all and not a real human so he wasn’t really afraid of death

Now, since you were undead, you couldn’t really feel many things. You couldn’t feel pain, hunger, cold, hot or things like that

But you still had emotions and your physical appearance wasn’t effected at all. Though your body has changed after your death, you had more of a slender body and your limbs could be detached with no blood at all

You were walking up with Albedo, back to his camp up in Dragonspine. Trudging up the path, jumping over collapsed bridges and whatnot

The two of you were nearing his camp when you tripped over an exposed root. You face-planted in the snow with a ‘plop’. You pushed yourself up and turned around to retrieve your leg that had detached when you saw Albedo holding it

He, then looked at you and the other half of your leg. He had a puzzled look on his face and asked: “Has this happened before and can you reattach it?”

You thought to yourself about it, thinking really hard since your brain degraded over time…

Finally you responded with: “Probably but I have no problem putting it back on my body”

He hands you your leg and you stick it back in place, like two magnets, moving your leg around to show that it’s like nothing ever happened to it

“Interesting..” You stood up and followed Albedo back to his camp as he thought up a hypothesis

“I assume you can do the same with other limbs, right?”, he said moving away many ore specimens

“Probably”

“Then may I run some tests?”

“What do I get in return?”

“Whatever you want”

With that being said, you walk up behind and nuzzle into the crook of his neck, “Then spend time with me after~”

• She was very surprised the first time you did it

• Like it was soooo unexpected, but the delivery was hilarious

“Hey Y/n, could you give me a hand with this new batch of rockets?”

You actually give her one of your arms. She yelped in surprise, but laughed afterwards realizing

“What? You said to give you a hand and I did”

“Haha, I did but not that kind. I meant help me with this case"

Yoimiya was a great person to be around, the kids love her, some of the parents love that the kids love him, and you love her as well

She never judged and protected you all the way, and all you did was just help her around the shop (and her dad..). Yoimiya was glad that you seemed to have more patience than her with her dad

Here you were, sitting on the beach on a summer night, a few moments before the fireworks would set off and showcase a beautiful display of colors

"Ah~ this is one of my favorite times of the year; the summer festival. Kids having fun making masks and playing with sparklers. And many people love the fireworks I prepare for them"

Yoimiya recalls with a smile as she leaned up against you. You mirror her actions, exhaling ever so slightly with a smile

"I don't know if my past life was ever this exciting, but if it was, I think I would still choose this one"

Taking Yoimiya's hand into your own, you both watch in awe as the night sky lights up with beautiful colors

Hydro!reader

An angry fire burns with hate, threatening to destroy everything in its path with no regret; that’s how Diluc feels deep down, a contained emotion that will break if you dare hit a nerve

Dragonspine does what it can to cool this angry redhead down, but today felt different.. Too much emotion, too hot of a flame, very little regret

You were looking for Diluc, one of the maids told you that he had went up to Dragonspine for a change

You found him, the area around him had little snow as he stood in a puddle of water

You saw his claymore through a lawachurl, it laid dead with many burns along its body

Then you look at Diluc, you saw more blood than sweat, but what caught your attention was his tears. Fueled by anger, held back by sadness

You approached him with calm steps, water flowing around you, then soon flowing around him when your got close to him

Water covered where his blood were, washing it away and healing the cuts. Diluc’s breathing quieted when the pain went away

He finally looked at you, with the most heartbreaking look. His hands reach out and grab you, he hugged you and buried his head in the crook of your neck

His breathing had calmed down the best it can, but his heart was still pounding with so much force..

“Shh.. I’m here now, and what will happen while I’m here?”

“Only.. only soft rains..”

Pyro vision!reader

You would think that most cryo vision holders would have a lower body temperature than most people and the opposite would apply for pyro vision holders

Well, you could definitely prove the second theory since you were a pyro vision holder yourself, but as for the people that resided in Mondstadt that were cryo vision holders, well...

Eula seemed a little hard to approach; sure, her family background did ensue some of your hesitation but her personality in general scared you

Diona didn't seem too interested in proving your theory since she was mostly busy with either serving cocktails to drunkards or gathering materials while scheming up a plan to create a terrible cocktail for the world to see

Rosaria was very much out of the picture since you barely saw her around. She was only ever around as the day turned to night, though her character seemed a lot similar to Eula

So, will all deductions, that only leaves one person left that is a cryo user..

"Do I have a lower body temperature? A rather odd question to ask, I'd guessed that Albedo or Sucrose would've asked that question, but you? What's with the sudden curiosity?"

The blank face you wore pretty much told you that this was a waste of time if all this man was gonna do was subtly tease you

"Give me an answer captain, if not, then I can just leave and ask another person"

"Okay, okay, I don't know how to answer," he spoke while taking off one of his gloves, "but instead I can give you hands on learning, literally"

He held out his hand to you, there were small scars that had faded into his fingers, but there was a scar that ran through the palm of his hand, as if he or someone else were slitting his hand and causing permanent damage

Holding his hand shocked you, it felt cold, but not an unpleasant cold feeling; more like that feeling of snow fall for the first time

"Since your hand is colder than normal, I would assume that mine is warmer than usual?"

"You're correct about that, though I must say, the temperature of your body feels different than any other person"

You retracted your hand to quickly note the new experience down, completely ignoring Kaeya's words

But what you did notice, was that he was now behind and hugging you, losing himself in the warmth you radiated

Rain dance

It was raining outside, it had been raining all day and you were cooped up inside the estate. There was nothing wrong with the estate but of all the games you played with Ayaka and Thoma were starting to bore you

You looked up from the current game; looking at the door to the room where Ayato is, working with only the rain as background noise. You deflate in sadness knowing that Ayato will probably stay in there for the entire day

Taking a break, you get up and just say that you’re going outside. Thoma questions it, saying that it’s raining outside; but you only reply with “that’s the point”

Stepping outside, the rain welcomes you with a breeze of warm and humid air. You breath in the scent with a sigh, smiling when you hear a quiet melody playing as you step out into the rain

The music makes you sway, and soon you remember a dance that Ayaka taught you. Step by step, you dance as the rain adds a beautiful effect to it all

You didn't even notice Ayato stepping outside and watching as you dance in your own world. He didn't want to interrupt you, but he did add a little flare of his own, swirling the water around you to match your movements

You perk up at the presence of an element being manipulated. Opening your eyes, the falling water around you, danced and matched your moves

You turn to look at the person, who was watching you dance in the rain

"Mind if I join in on your rain dance?"

Quiet lullaby…

After numerous attempts of summoning a show of electro, Scaramouche yells out of anger and lets out a blast of anemo energy, practically sending anything flying in the air; miles from its current location. He looks down at the gnosis in his hand before tucking it away on his character

Trudging back to a house hidden in plain sight, Scaramouche mumbles all the way up towards his shared room. You were there, sleeping peacefully as if time had stopped

Scaramouche tosses his hat to the floor and flops down on the bed. Doing this, stirs you from your slumber. You look around dazed, before noticing Scaramouche near your legs

You rest a hand on his hair, massaging his scalp ever so lightly to make him fall into a slumber with you. Once you were convinced that Scaramouche had fallen asleep, you whisk a finger in the air, turning on a music box that plays a lullaby

Returning to your original position, you exhale and close your eyes, mind succumbing to the soft melody…

Cat got your tongue?

Sometimes I wonder why-

Alright, gender neutral is a must bc I don’t know and your breed is Norwegian Forest bc I like those ones - 99% floof and 1% cat

The sightings started about a week ago, when a cat started to pop up and watch a certain detective

Heizou would always suspect that a person would be watching him, when in reality it was just a cat. This cat was a strange one..

It didn’t like hanging around the other strays nor did it hang around many people. So why did it have such attraction to this green eyed boy?

This question bothered him for a while since this feline didnt show up until now, like it’s breed is nowhere to be found in Inazuma

He thinks that you’re just a stowaway from a cargo ship and now you probably can’t get home now. Or maybe you have some strange genetics causing you to look different from other cats

Eventually, he decided to just put his question on hold and focus on other boring cases. It didn’t help that you would always be around when an investigation was taking place but the company was appreciated

People around and even animal lovers that take care of some of the strays *cough* Thoma-*cough* couldn’t even get close to you without you ignoring or running away

But for Heizou, it seemed different whenever you would rub against his leg whenever he solved a case, before disappearing without a trace

Sure, other people around just deemed Heizou to be the cat’s favorite when even Heizou himself has never even touched the cat

You were lounging around, laying on a rooftop and sunbathing, when a loud noise startled you. Craning your head up, you see an everyday event of a rather tall male with red markings and his friends running away from a group of soldiers

Ignoring the cacophony, you hopped down and went someplace else more quieter..

The forest that resides next to the shrine with a beautiful Sakura seemed quiet enough; laying down in a patch of grass

The air was cool and the sounds were quiet enough. Yes, there were silent disturbances as a single crystal fly landed on your body and a few kitsune rested beside you

But all was calm and all was peace…

About an hour later, a metallic sound was heard, then the sound of barking

Waking up as the surrounding kitsune ran away at the sound, you look around and see a small group of a samurai dogs running towards you

They seemed feral enough to make you sprint away at full speed. Running through the marsh and then to the nearby village

It was hard to think with the sound of barking interrupting your thoughts every 5 seconds

Running through the outskirts of the village, you see a group of swordsmen with a tall one dressed in red looking like the leader of all of them

It seemed safe enough to run to them for help right? WRONG!

As soon as you ran near them, a net was tossed and you were captured. The dogs that were pursuing you stopped and sat near one of the nobushi, looking quite proud of themselves

You were thrown in a small cage and hear something along the lines of “Sold at a high price; rare breed”

Offended; you were. Rather pissed at the thought of being sold to random people just because you were different from every other animal that lives in the land of Electro

You attempted to squeeze out since the railings were nicely spaced out.. You managed to fit your head through while the other people were chatting about plans or whatever

Squeezing the rest of your body through was a slice of cake since you were 99% fluff and 1% cat :3

Anyway, sneaking away seemed easy enough until a dog barked and attention was turned towards you once again

Another chase broke out and this time, you ran all the way to Inazuma city

Running through the village once again,

Running past the two blonde haired folks that were playing with the strays near a Sakura tree,

And running past the selling booths until,

You found the detective once again. He was speaking with a random person when he felt a weight on his shoulder and fur tickling his ears

He was surprised, surprised that you came out of nowhere and decided to use him as a structure of some sort,

But also surprised at the group of samurai dogs that came running up to him and barking at you

You cling to him with your tail wrapping around his neck and paws placed on his head. The action was adorable to him but he pushed it aside to shoo away the canine group

The person he was talking to had went away at the sight of dogs wielding swords with their tails

Finally, when the dogs had given up and went away, Heizou then went to a secluded area with you still clinging to him

He sat down underneath a tree with a sigh with a beach being right in front of the two of you

“You’re not a normal cat, are you? You don’t behave like a normal nor do you look like one. But you seem to favor me for some reason.. only showing slight interest in me but not even a look is spared from you when people offer you food or toys. You are a strange one to look at as well”

At this point, his accusations were a little too much as you retracted your tail and hop off his shoulders

His gaze never left yours as you sat across from him

“You don’t seem to have an owner since you seem to spend a lot of time outside, and you don’t look like you have a name nor do you seem to have a voice”

You mew in response, sparking a reaction from the wine-colored haired male. He smiled when you came closer towards him, your tail brushing ever so slightly against his hand

Suddenly, a yell was heard behind you. You turned around and saw the familiar red colored swordsman

“Hey, what are you doing with my cat?!”

His voice of anger was considered funny to the detective since he was laughing for some reason

“Okay, I’m sorry I just find it funny for someone to get mad over a cat. Also, I don’t even know if this really is your cat considering that it ran to me instead of you when being chased by ninja dogs. And do you even know this cat’s name?”

“U-uh, of course I know it’s name, it’s my cat after all. [Insert weird cat name] is it’s name”

Heizou looked at you for some kind of reaction. The smell of catnip was present on the samurai, it was tempting but you fought the urge and hid behind Heizou with a quiet meow

“I smell lies~ cat’s not impressed nor did it show any interest, so I’m afraid that you’re not the owner my good sir”

The nobushi growled in protest but paused when he saw one of his men approach from behind

You soon felt a harsh grasp around your body and hissed in response, but soon you were flying in the air and now bubbles were around you

Heizou jumped up in surprise and rushed over to try and save you but noticed a strange substance in the water

Then a figure emerged from below, it was a person with the same coloration in their hair as the cat did before

You were spluttering and coughing out water as Heizou kneeled down before you, his hand ghosting over your head

That was immediately retracted when the samurai came rushing towards you with a blazing red sword in hand

But he didn’t reach the two of you when before jumping up and intending to strike but powerful winds lifted him up higher than he intended

Heizou seemed satisfied enough with how the samurai landed in the water, then he looked back towards the person who had supposedly thrown you into the water

The subordinate staggered away, leaving his boss behind..

Picking you up with little struggle, he walked away from the scene

Entering the forest where you’d had napped earlier, the location seemed to be near a cliff watching over the Kamisato Estate

Heizou had placed you down and sat a small distance away from you as you revealed your familiar, but drenched cat ears and tail

Your clothing seemed to be a black and white colored haori with a torn inked white kimono that revealed a small part of your stomach

Heizou noticed bandages around your stomach

“Cat got your tongue? Quit staring, makes you a pervert~”

You looked up at him with sharp eyes. When you were done drying and fluffing up your tail, you turned to Heizou while drying your ears

“I’m a member of the kätzlein bloodline, though I got lucky with the ability to change my form unlike my little sister”

“Kätzlein?”

“We have traces of non-human blood and that’s why I have ears and a tail. Something that I don’t recommend touching.”

You end your comment off with a slight warning, but of course Heizou being Heizou decided to test the waters

He stood up and moved closer towards you with a smirk placed on his lips. He leaned down very close to your face, and afterwards blowing on your ears

“But what happens if I do? What will you do, dear kitten?”

He froze up as he felt your tail quickly wrapping around his neck and squeezing

“Death from lack of air circulation is possible with how close you are, dear detective”

Matching his tone of voice as you looked up towards him with a matching smirk

He tapped your tail in defeat. You laughed in triumph

The day went by as you answer many random questions Heizou has to offer

Until it was nightfall, then Heizou asked a seemingly important question:

“Hey Y/n, where exactly do you go at night?”

You responded with “The wild is my home” as you swayed your legs over the cliff

“Oh, well would you like to stay at my place for the night?”

You turned towards Heizou with smirk

“Shikanoin Heizou, is this your way of catnapping the cat?”

“Maybe, maybe not, you’ll never know~”

I woke up in a pond, the water was still and strange animal noises could be heard every now and then. The sky couldn’t be seen and even rays of sunlight had a hard time trying to claw its way through the thickness of the trees above.

I look around and see nothing but a normal forest background. Getting up feels like a pain since there was a surprising ache in my legs. It felt as if I sat down for too long with my legs bent awkwardly and now the consequences are going into effect.

Standing up was a pain with the horrible ache in my legs, but it was something I have to deal with or else I won't get anywhere if I avoid the pain. Stepping out of the water and looking down at myself, I realize that none of the clothes that I'm wearing are mine in any way.

The shirt I was wearing was a little oversized and hung off my shoulder, the same could go for the pants that I was wearing as well. The only thing that seemed to fit were the shoes. They seemed comfortable enough, right?

Anyway, my sense of direction was not that terrible but I wouldn't say my skills are that bad nor that great ;-;

Exploring through the forest, I come across a creek with a giant willow tree. There was a mythical aura around the area, but I decided against going anywhere near it. The chirping of the birds did little to calm my nerves of wanting to escape this labyrinth of a forest

Then, what seemed like laughter being heard, I quickly looked around to see where it was coming from. But sadly it seemed like it was a hallucination

Sighing and looking down at the ground, it was a faint but somewhat noticeable worn path through the short grass. Curiosity creeps over myself as I attempt to see where the path leads...

A rather large house was found along the path. The flowers around compliment the place really well and the aura around seemed very pleasant. I hesitate before slowly walking up and examining the house

I was looking around the small garden of flowers the owner of the house had; crouching close to the ground, when...

"My my, I never knew flowers could be so interesting~"

A voice was heard from behind me, making me startle and lose my balance. I fall flat on my behind when a pink haired lady stared at me

Her purple eyes gaze into mine as her face comes extremely close to mine.

“I’ve never seen you around here before, nor have I seen you in the city. Tell me, where did you come from and how did you get here?”

I struggle to get out any kind of word, hell I couldn’t even make a sound because of how intimidating her aura is. For all I know, if I say the wrong thing, who knows what she’ll do to me…

“Cat got your tongue? ‘Tis a shame, I was hoping to hear some kind of response from you but I guess that will happen some other time”

The pink haired lady backed off and away before disappearing around the corner. After a moment or two, I decided to get up and dust off my clothes

As I was doing such action, I spotted a dark red/purple haired boy looking at me from a tree. His eyes had such curiosity present, but he quickly disappeared in the brush when I returned his gaze

Scared; I was, but then a blonde haired man poked his head from around the corner. His expression turned from surprise to happy in a matter of two seconds

“Oh hey, so Miko wasn’t lying about you. Here come on inside, there’s a lot of space inside!”

His dog-like personality made me lower my guard, slowly, I walk towards him with an almost blank face. But his smile seemed to be contagious as I gave a slight smile back

He wasn’t lying about the amount of space inside, the whole place looks normal on the outside but is a mansion on the inside..

There were a few people in the living room, a blonde haired girl and a light blue haired girl were chatting together and smiling brightly at each other. And there was a very tall white haired man talking to a shorter green haired girl, although it seems like he’s getting scolded given the fact that he had his head down

But he turns and looks our way, a confused smile paints his face

“Yo~ Thoma, who have you got there? Did you make a new friend without me?”

“Not really, Miko had found them outside by the flower garden and gave the responsibility to me. So yeah, this is- oh.. I haven’t even learned her name yet”

The male referred to as ‘Thoma’ turned to you in question

“I…don’t remember..”

My voice came out softer than I had hoped, Thoma and the other guy were stunned, but the girl walked up to me and placed her hand on her hip, as if she were thinking

“We’ll just call you Y/n for the time being, until you can remember your own” she turned away from me and started to drag away the taller man, “however, you’re not done being taught a valuable lesson”

The white haired guy panicked and turned to Thoma and I

“Thoma, Y/n helppp I don’t wanna learnnn”

But Thoma just sighed and waved at him

“Bye Itto, have fun~”

Those two were out of sight, going into one of the possibly many rooms of this house. Thoma then turned to me and asked two simple questions:

“Would you prefer an upstairs room or downstairs room and would you like to meet everyone that lives here?”

I was shocked to know that there were more rooms available, but scared at the fact to meet everyone that could live and share this huge house

I motioned that I wanted a downstairs room, so that it would be easier to remember where things are, but as for the second question, I wanted to wait on it

Thoma nodded and soon showed me a vacant room, it was nicely decorated with a simple aesthetic

“If you need anything, my room is only two doors down from you and don't worry Heizou is not a bad neighbor, I think... Anyway, if you need me, I'll be in the kitchen"

Thoma waved me off with another smile, before disappearing down the hall. I look around the room before walking near the bed; I push down on the bed to feel how plush it is

I was about to sit down on it before stopping and looking down at my attire. I just got out of a forest, I woke up in a pond and have dirt on my clothes and skin..

I should probably go ask Thoma about taking a shower/bath... ;-;

Walking out of my room, I walked down to the living room where the pair of girls were playing around with a white cat. The blonde haired one noticed me and paused what she was doing

"Oh hey new roomie, name's Yoimiya and this is Ayaka, are you looking for Thoma?"

I nod at her question and she points at a doorway. I nod my head again as a thanks and she simply smiles back before resuming her actions of playing around with the feline

Going through the doorway reveals a rather spacious kitchen, and a delicious smell wafted into the air. Thoma was cooking while a light blue haired male, much similar to Ayaka, was setting the (rather long) table. When he was done, it looked like he was about to join Thoma for preparing dinner, but he noticed me instead

"Oh? So you're the new girl Yae Miko had found in the garden"

His voice attracted Thoma's attention. Thoma had quickly set aside what he was doing and turned his attention to me. I felt a little scared since the light blue haired man was staring directly at me with a blank face

My voice came out in a stutter, the softness of my voice was struggling to speak any louder, but somehow I managed to get my question out:

"Do you have any spare clothes for me to change into after I wash up?"

Thoma looked surprised for a moment, then paused. Another girl had walked in behind me, to simply discard something in the trash

“Oh Kokomi, sorry to bother you but if you don’t mind, could you please help Y/n wash up, she just needs spare clothes and to know where the bathroom is. Oh, and her room is next to Heizou’s”

I look behind me and see her nod, then she motions to me to follow her. She leads me out of the kitchen, leaving the two men once again alone in the kitchen

Kokomi leads me back to my room and searches through the closet. She pulls out a simply white t-shirt and and black shorts as well as undergarments. Then she points down to a room down the hall

“The bathroom is just down the hall, and there should a towel in there for you”

She closes the closet door then leaves the room. I take the clothes she left out for me and walk over to the bathroom

Walking out patting my hair dry, there was a brown haired boy standing outside my room. He seemed to be lost in thought but quickly snapped out of it when he noticed me walking down the hall

"Oh hey, we were waiting for you. Don't worry about overthinking things though, there are some other people who haven't came back yet, so you can just chill at the table for the time being"

He soon left and I noticed his tail swaying idle behind him. It seemed cute but I didn't want to talk about it. I set down my fold dirty clothes on the nightstand and walk over to the vanity across from my bed

Grabbing a brush; I brush out my hair making it look somewhat presentable. Once I was done, I looked over myself in the mirror. My reflection starred back in return, then it hit me..

A sharp pain in my head hits me like a truck, causing me to collapse on the floor. Then I see the same boy smiling at me and whispering words that I can't hear

Too overwhelmed, I curl up in a ball and try to soothe my headache. Whispering "please go away" to myself multiple times. Too caught up in the pain, I don't feel the hand on my back, attempting to soothe whatever episode I was in

My heavy breathing soon calmed after a minute or so. The hand on my back stayed, but the person it belonged to spoke:

"Are you alright? I came to check on you but it seems that you were in pain about something"

I sit and see Thoma kneeling down in front of me. His eyes hold a look of concern

"It's nothing, I just saw something in the forest that came back at the wrong time"

I knew my tone of voice wasn't convincing enough but with how little I speak, Thoma seemed to believe it. He just sighed and went to stand, holding a hand out to help me up from the floor

"Hey Thoma, after dinner, I think I would like to meet everyone if that's okay with everyone"

I ask as I take his hand and he leads me out of my room and to the kitchen where a lot of people were. The majority was seated; talking amongst themselves, and about a couple were making sure everything was in order

Kokomi was among the few people standing, helping the same brown haired boy I saw before. Thoma nudged me over to the table, where I sat beside the same light blue haired male I saw Thoma in the kitchen in

He looked at me with a blank look before smiling

"I don't suppose we properly met, so let me introduce myself. I am Kamisato Ayato, pleased to make your acquaintances~"

His eye smile is so cute wtf- I didn't know how to introduce myself back to him, so I just blatantly said my name and slightly smiled at him. Thankfully afterwards, a few more people walked in

First, it was the same pink haired woman I saw before I came inside followed by another pretty woman with long purple hair tied into a braid

Then a couple of boys came in, a white haired one with a scarlet streak in his hair, the same dark red/purple haired boy followed behind him, his gaze met mine as he simply smiled :3

After platters of food were set out on the table and everyone started to dig in, I felt a few eyes on me when Kokomi would help me put food on my plate

After dinner, Thoma spoke aloud in the kitchen when everyone was still present. He spoke along the lines of wanting everyone to introduce themselves to me

A person suggested we all move to the living room just so I could see everyone better. A few people at a time, went out and took a seat on the sofa

Lastly, I sat down on a cushion that Ayato provided for me, in front of the sofa. Facing everyone, it seemed scary with many eyes on me but Thoma looked at me with reassuring eyes

Going down the line, everyone started to introduce themselves:

There was a small girl clinging to Ayato, her name was Sayu, she spoke in a sleepy voice

Ayato and Thoma reintroduced themselves with bright smiles

Next to Thoma, sat Ayaka and Yoimiya, they both smiled at me :D

Then there was the tall white haired male standing behind the sofa, his name was Itto

Sitting in front of him was the green haired girl, her name was Shinobu, she took her mask off and smiled at me

Kokomi was sitting beside her, she introduced herself properly, her voice sounding very soft

The dog boy sitting next to her, his name was Gorou, his ears twitched cutely as he was introducing himself

Beside him, was a pretty white haired boy with a cat resting on his shoulder, his name was Kazuha

The dark red/purple haired boy beside him, his name was Heizou, he had kind of a teasing tone to his voice

Next, there was a purple haired lady that I haven't seen before, her name was Sara, she seemed uninterested at most but stayed

Then there was the long purple haired lady, she said to just call her Ei, she seemed confused but was very interested about your being

On her lap, laid the pink haired lady I saw earlier, her name was Miko as she was very much enjoying resting on Ei's lap

Since it seemed like that was everyone, I bowed and introduced myself to everyone. I felt more comfortable around now that I felt a little closer to everyone here, although I did jump when everyone said hello back to me

"Wait, where's Kuni?"

Ei asked, looking around. Kazuha replied with:

"He went for a walk outside, said he won't be back for a while"

And with that, some people went to their respective rooms (Miko and Ei share a room, fight me-) while some people stayed downstairs in the living room

I quickly got up and went towards Kazuha and Heizou. Heizou looked up at you with curious eyes, Kazuha as well too

"Heizou, didn't I see you outside today?"

"What do you mean? Dinner was the first time I saw you”

“But- Nevermind”

I smile in defeat as Heizou giggles at me. I turn towards Kazuha and glance at the sleeping cat

“Ryuka, he was my friend’s cat, but he had moved away and couldn’t take his cat with him so he gave him to me”

As if on cue, the feline opened its eyes and looked at me in question. Then he just snuggled closer to Kazuha

“Oh, if you happen to see Kuni, try not to hold a conversation with him, unless he starts one with you. Because long story short, he’s doesn’t like speaking that much”

Heizou said, running a hand through his hair. I nodded at his words and walked to my room

Closing the door but not all the way, I decided not to go to sleep early but sat near the window. The half moon looked very pretty in the night sky

But suddenly it came back; the horrible pain in my head. All of my peaceful thoughts turned to static and the voices started wailing out in pain

My vision became cloudy from the tears as I laid down on the floor again, tiny whimpers came from me. Then a tiny figure entered the room

Then a warmth was felt on my face. Soon, tears were licked away and white fur was welcomed into my vision. I lift up my head and see Ryuka pawing at my face

Quiet mews came from him as if her were expressing concern for me. Slowly, I sit up and fold my legs into a crisscross position

Leaning back towards the wall behind me, the feline climbs on my lap and leans his head on my chest; letting out a loud purr

The vibrations from the cat seemed to calm my panicked heart. I sighed; knowing I’m now somewhat trapped in place since Ryuka fell asleep on me

“Y/n is now my neighbor?”

Heizou was looking at the sign placed on the door, next to his, while Kazuha was laying on the floor of Heizou’s bedroom

“That’s nice, she could always ask you for help if Thoma is not around”

Heizou stayed silent for a moment, leaving Kazuha in silent confusion. Kazuha got up and walked out to see what Heizou was being silent about

Turns out, Heizou was only admiring how cute Ryuka and you were, sleeping together

“So this is the reason why you’re so quiet”

“Okay, but can you argue with my action? Do tell me a reason to not find this situation adorable”

“Heizou, please don’t tell me that you’ve already found Y/n desirable..”

“Oh even if I did, I don’t think I would tell you yet Kaedehara”

“It hasn’t even been day 1 yet and already has new love sprouted from an unexpected sprout”

“Spare me of your flowers and quiet down, they are both sleeping”

“I will but what are you doing?”

“Lending Y/n a shoulder to lay on, that’s all”

Heizou snuggling up to one of your sides and resting by your side. Kazuha sighed and laid down on the floor on the other side of you, as to not leave Heizou alone

Ryuka stirred a little and moved to rest underneath but also near Kazuha’s side

Settling down at the agreed meeting place, you tremble with anxiety, fear of what his reaction will be.

What if he doesn’t like my wings? What if he gets mad because I kept it a secret for so long? What if he just says nothing and leaves? What if he decides to never talk to me ever again because he thinks I didn’t trust him enough the first time to show him?

Many “what ifs” floated around in your head as your wings cover your body like a small tent. Then a familiar noise could be heard, signifying that he had arrived.

Now comes the moment of truth…

Aether ~Fairy Wings~

You turn around and see him sheathing his sword, thinking that he had ran into trouble on the way over here. The thought made you feel bad, the original thought was to meet up in a calm and quiet place to relax and bask in each other’s presence for the time being, not worry about nearby mobs or enemies

Anyway, while the blonde traveler was distracted by dusting off and smoothing down his clothes, you folded back your wings so it was still a little bit noticeable, but not too much that it overwhelms him

“Hey, I hope you didn’t have much trouble on your way over here. My original plan was to have you relax here”

Aether brushed off your worries and took a seat next to you in the grass. He was about to respond when his eyes widen at the sight of your wings

The translucent wings sparkle underneath the sun light. Aether had moved closer to you, drinking in the sight of your beautiful wings.

His normal silence was normal to you, you had grown to adapt to his quietness, but this time felt very different. Instead of having to listen to the monologue of other people around you while Aether pipes in every now and then

Now it was only you and him and with no one else around for miles. His silence was very loud and very agonizing for you, especially since you couldn’t exactly see his face

“So pretty..” were the only words he muttered out. Instinctively, you covered your face with your hands out of embarrassment

Suddenly, you could feel an arm wrapping around your waist as Aether’s hand was slowly pulling your own away from your face. Opening your eyes, you could see golden eyes peering into your own

“It’s nice to know that my lover is special in their own way” *smiles*

Heizou ~Demon Wings~

Seeing Heizou twirl around his jitte made you duck down and pull your legs in, to completely cover yourself with your wings

Anxiety builds up as Heizou gets closer until, you hear his footsteps stop. It’s quiet for a second, but you immediately tense up when a finger is felt running along the bone of your wing

“This is an interesting discovery, but I guess it also contributes to your mischievous personality. But for once, you’re embarrassed. And for what? Fear of immediate rejection? You know I won’t do that, not to my partner in crime certainly not~”

Slowly pulling out your head from underneath, you see Heizou with a smile on his face. A cocky smile to be clear..

“But aren’t you surprised or scared or even angry in any way? I am a demon after all and I kept this from you for a long time”

“Some secrets are uncovered faster than others, after all, there are many things you didn’t know about me in the beginning and there were many things I didn’t know about you, including this one. So don’t worry too much about this new found secret”

Feeling comforted, you fold your wings and calm down with a normal breathing rate taking over. Heizou chuckles and stretches out one of your wings, measuring the span with his arm for comparison

“Since you have wings and my curiosity is peeked, can you take me flying?”

Heizou looks at you with pleading eyes. Surprised was your first reaction, but who are you to say no to his adorable face

Kazuha ~Angel Wings~

Turning your back to him and folding back your wings and patiently waiting for the samurai to place himself next to you. A single maple leaf lands in your lap

Picking it up with a gentle grasp, a haiku is read out in a soft voice:

“Lingering over us

Protecting all from harms way

Angelic replay”

Gentle hands run alongside the structure of your colorless wings, the action was wonderful to the heart at most. Feathers ruffle with surprise when a hand is placed at the base, a cold sensation contrasting your warm skin

"How ironic is this? I call you my dove and here you are, beautiful wings to play the part. Or maybe you are just my guardian angel who decided to reveal their second identity "

Kazuha slips around and places himself in front of you, smiling with the cutest smile you have ever seen good lord give me this cuteass mannnn at you with such love. It squeezes your heart to see this adorable sight

The samurai lets out a giggle as you nuzzle your head right under his, and wrap your wings around the both of you. Kazuha smiles for the nth time this evening and places a chast kiss on your hair.

"It doesn't matter what you are, my love.. If you were only human, angel or anything besides that, I will love you either way"

Venti ~Dragon Wings~

Hearing your favorite melody play in peaceful times is a joy to have, but this time was a questionable one. Your head was underneath your wings so you couldn't really see Venti's reaction straight away.

But what surprised you more was the huge gust of wind he summoned beneath you, sending you up high in the sky. Your wings spread out like a windglider to keep you from falling. Looking down with confusion as you can't seem to find the green clad bard anywhere, until you hear a familiar giggle near you

"So, you're part dragon, huh.. Similar to the geo archon, but he doesn't have wings like you, so I guess you're more cooler between the two of you"

"Wait-"

"Take me flying windbloom, it'll be fun and besides it's a first time thing for me if we exclude Dvalin from the question"

Venti pleads to you with an excited expression. You could hear your heart ringing in your ears; with adrenaline building up in your system. Then with no words at all, you smile back at the anemo archon; much to his surprise

Quickly scooping him up in your arms as his windglider disappears from sight, you fly up high, reaching and breaking the sky's limit. Venti seemed to enjoy it very much, like a kid on a rollercoaster for the first time

Once reaching a high enough point, it all takes a dive, literally! Falling down as you fold your wings back, you both look at the other, childish smiles on both of your gleeful faces

"Haha~ to know that I can have this much fun with you makes me glad that I met you my love"

"And I'm glad I met you as well, but also glad that you accept me as this :)"

Hugging the archon and spreading out your wings once again just before there's contact with the ground, you soar through the cloudy skies as a melody is played across the land

Xiao ~Harpy Wings~

Rather than walking up, Xiao teleports in front of you; his golden eyes stare at yours before glancing at the wings that cover your body. He stays quiet as he continues to examine your body

Running a finger over the plume of feathers, and retracting it immediately. You silently question his intentions before wincing a bit at the sudden pain

Quickly turning around and almost glaring at the Yaksha, you notice a feather between his fingers. He looks at you then at the feather in his palm; before simply discarding the single plume

"It was loose.."

Those were his only words; stating why there was a feather plucked.

"Oh.. thanks, but aren't you surprised?"

"Surprised at what? That you're like me?"

This shocked you. For once Xiao had something in common with you, but how? This question arose in your thoughts but were quickly answered..

"My name is Alatus, meaning I was only a bird before gaining a form as human, but the memory is still present as drawings on my arm. So there, that is how we both have something in common"

Your expression was unreadable for a moment as Xiao sat with his back to your own, leaning ever so slightly against you. Perhaps with hesitation that the thought of hurting your not-so-delicate wings

Leaning back and wrapping your wings around him, you hug him in relief. Relief that the thought of rejection was not once present in his mind and relief that acceptance was what you got
