Biography:

Often misunderstood, Santana struggled to find her personal identity in high school. Her confusion regarding her sexuality plagued her quite often, and the close-minded people of Lima forced her to down-play her true self.

After moving to Louisville from Lima, Santana was determined to leave the drama high school and Ohio in the dust. Though she was still interested in music, Santana majored in social work with hopes of becoming a counselor and advocate for troubled teens.

Santana found herself in a serious, long-term relationship in her junior year of college. An explosive break-up after almost six years together forced intensive self-reflection and another major life change. She was bound at determined to make it as a singer and moved to New York City. She currently waits tables while moonlighting as a singer at various clubs throughout the city and looking for her big break.

Although Santana is working hard to achieve her dreams, her bad history of relationships gives her hopes that with her new life changes she’ll find that special someone.

Para Sample:

Santana ran for her life, attempting to scream out but her voice wasn’t finding her. she shook her  head, taking a deep breath as she raced on. She felt a group of hands hook into her side, pulling her backwards.

Her body slammed down against the concrete and a sharp pain shot out through her body. As she clutched her side she felt herself fade away into the darkness, falling into an open pit, the dirt beginning to pile in, suffocating her.

Santana sat up, gasping for air as I kicked around, violently trying to break free from the sheets. She flung forward, and looked around taking a deep breath. She flicked on the light at her bedside and walked over to an open window closing it. She then made her way to the kitchen to grab a glass of water. Taking a sip and then a deep breath she ran her hand through her hair. She had been having these nightmares for the past few nights and she didn’t really understand what the meant.

She had to be at work soon so she got herself ready and headed for the subway.  When she arrived her boss confronted her. “Santana you’re late again” he said with a stern voice “Sorry” she replied “But if you knew what it took the be as hot as I am every morning, you’d totally understand” she replied with a smirk.

Hey guys, I really hate posting this, but this is a small group, so we need to be active. In fact, activity is key here. That includes talking to people outside of your ship, interacting with everyone and just being on. We want this group to be successful, and we want to progress, so we need to get there. MONTH OF MAY WEEKLY REVIEW. WEEK 5.

★ OUR CAST!

A couple changes this week! Please make sure you have unfollowed both SHELBY and SANTANA and followed SAM. Both Shelby and Santana are open for auditions at this time.  A note to any potential applicants - this is a small group that depends on the connections that the players have previously made. Any meaningful interactions that have already taken place between characters will be seen as fact, and you will be fully briefed upon acceptance.

Instead of offering a new writing challenge this week, we're going to make special mention of the entries from last week. We are extremely impressed with the creativeity shown here, guys!

INTERACTION CHALLENGE

Bringing this back for another week! The interaction challenge will likely be a staple in the RP from here on out. All we ask is for each player to initiate a private or personal interaction with another character that is not your ship partner. What constitutes a private interaction? Phone calls, e-mails, Skype calls, text messages.. anything of the sort. When starting these interactions please be mindful of the whole cast and choose your partner accordingly. While we understand that some characters have limited interactions due to plotting, most characters are in communication with one another and should be able to initiate some sort of contact over the week. 

★ ACTIVITY REQUIREMENTS

We will be sticking to the aforementioned two-day activity watch rule. If you are going to be absent from the RP for longer than this, please inform the main. As always, we encourage players to reblog photos, images and music pertaining to their character's interests and post self-paras or reflective entries. 

★ TAGGING

This is a friendly reminder that you should track both momstarter (for dash interactions) and momadmin (for announcements such as this one).

In character, we also ask that players tag direct communication such as text messages, phone calls, emails or other private messages with mom(character). Please be sure to track your character's tag and tag your communications accordingly.

★ OTHER REMINDERS

God-modding (with the exception of NPC) is strictly forbidden.  Any interaction with NPCs that affect more than one character should be discussed and agreed upon with all relevant characters. 

Major story lines are to be cleared with the main before playing. In the same vein, please be sure to tag any plots containing possible triggers with warnings. If you are unsure if your content could be triggering, please ask.

We welcome all types of interaction and role play - Chatzy, paras, mini-paras and gif-conversations and other dash interactions. Let your creativity fly!
