i love a long morning stretch and a filling breakfast. i love the bitter taste of coffee swirled with sweet oat milk signaling to my taste buds that it’s time to wake up. my mouth is still warm with the flavors of breakfast — thick sliced bread, some good butter, fresh spinach, sweet onion, salsa roja, vegan scramble, fresh cilantro. sometimes i cannot believe how blessed we are to taste, to touch, to feel. i hear birds singing in the sweating plum tree, i hear a radio playing a few houses over — joyful and welcoming. it’s in these moments that i want to melt inside — the ones that are inexplicably good and slow and safe. if we can learn nourishment in these moments we can grow and nourish each other, we can keep building a world of safe and full and home.

i was tagged by @princehoseok (thank you mrs hobi) for this lil fun game. i haven't done these in so long but they're cute and i love getting to know my mutuals.
one piece of jewelry you can't go anywhere without: the ring my mom gave me when i was 15, but also, a golden necklace one of my exes gave me. it's. yeah. i get emotional about jewelry. we'll stop here.
most wore shoes: i have a pair of white adidas i desperately need to get rid of, but they're comfy and perfect for long walks. can't live without them.
new book/fic that has you in its grip: yeah ok so i haven't been reading anything (yikes, i know) but i have been writing at least once a day annnnnd i gotta say my own stories in my head have a grip on me. the written content,,, though..... um.
one drink you can't go without: COFFEE.
latest kitchen fail: i can't remember? i'm sure i do have some. oh! i actually left the coffee machine turned on all day and nearly set our apartment on fire, yay.
a piece of media you have been wanting to watch for ages but never got the time to: a lot of the new movies that came out!! especially barbie. never got the time/opportunity to watch it. and i also don't like watching things right as they come? i love to wait for the hype to die down a little so i feel.. safer. lol.
latest character to enter brainrot mode: woo youngwoo, from extraordinary attorney woo, maybe??? mhmmm. i have to think this one through. OH! WAIT- dolia, from honor of kings. i'm literally obsessed with that game lmfao.
