Do you think Harry is touch-starved? How do you think Draco reacts to that information?

Yes due to his upbringing. I think Draco reacts with lots of cuddling (when they're alone). When it's just the two of them at home they probably like to hang out half entwined on the couch. Ron & Hermione come through the floo unexpectedly at one point to announce the exciting news that she's pregnant and find the sight of Harry and Draco like that deeply surprising, slightly discomfiting, and also very heartwarming. It's when they finally accept that yes this relationship is actually truly good and going to last.

The fact that Draco Malfoy is canonically unable to cast a Patronus because he doesn’t have a happy enough memory to use for it is a MAJOR detail. He may be spoiled and doted on at home, and his mom clearly would do anything for him, but any kid with NO memories happy enough to conjure a Patronus whatsoever, is definitely not a kid with parents who are 100% warm and loving. I think this is a big reason why Lucius being full-on abusive is a common trope in fanfiction. There’s plenty of stuff in canon to contradict that - and yet Draco’s lack of Patronus isn’t exactly a point in Lucius’, or Narcissa’s, favor.

It makes me really strange to think of Dumbledore seeing that boy being sorted into Slytherin in his first year, with big bright eyes, and then seeing him in his seventh year, with the Death Eater mark and a broken heart.

So I was at lunch today and my friend was upset and near tears, so I put my arm over her shoulder for a side hug. Just for background information, we’ve been friends the whole year, she/they are straight and I am a transmasc and gay af. So! This bitch of a teacher comes up to us and goes, “What are you two doing?” So we’re like ‘talkin….?’ And she goes, “Well can you do it without touching? It makes some people uncomfortable.” Like shut the fUCK UP LADY! I’M BEING NICE TO MY FRIEND TRYING TO HELP THEM AND YOU ARE THE ONLY ONE WHO GIVES A SHIT. Nobody was even looking at us…. Like, tf? So in response, we held hands, making sure to be as obvious as possible. Teachers walked by, none of them got onto us. So if you’re that teacher and you see this… Fuck you, Mrs. Garza.
