hey, im lola im 16 and im going thru a lot rn and i genuinely dont know wether or not i should take up my psychiatrist on her offer and go to a residential hospitalization program or stay w my intensive care from my school.

right now im getting services through my school for my iep where 3 therapists switch out and come see me at my house 4 times a week for 2 hours wether it be in the morning or the afternooon and its basicslly js a therapy session but at my house and with my mom/aunt included. idk if its helpijg me its js getting me to go to summer school(i have rlly bad school avoidance like i didnt go for over half the year last year)

if i go to residential i’d be at a hospital place type thing with other kids like me and w nurses watching me 24/7 making sure i dont hurt myself. i honestly feel very vulnerable at my house and its easy for me to get triggered into a full on breakdown and my mom does NOT know how shes supposed to deal w it, she makes me worse every time. shes honestly the worst person to talk to other than my father when im sad. but i’ll be away from my sister snd my cat and my friend and my phone and i wouldnt be able to do any drugs or have any real freedom. i’d be locked up. and the beds there suck my friend told me so.

anyways can u help me decide if i should go to res or not? tysm!
