So in a stubborn effort to show my female side as much love as my male drag persona has been getting, I have gotten into burlesque. I've done a bit of it even as a drag king, but I'm doing it with a female persona now and it's honestly been great seeing a new side of myself and loving myself like this.

I'm actually entering a competition this month! I don't expect to win, but I am going to be up there, my fat ass, almost 44 year old self, and I am going to feel powerful.

When the summer is over and I'm back to work, I should splurge and get some professional photos done as Vida. I've always wanted to get some glamour-y shots when I'm all done up!

What I love the most about this, is that Jamil was in every corner of this area, and those eels STILL managed to pop out of nowhere and jump him XD

Mira's my favorite. She's the visual and lead dancer of HUNTR/X. Nobody can move like Mira. Apparently she's the black sheep of her family. I don't know why because she's sooo cool. Who else could wear a sleeping bag to the Met Gala?
