How would mond and the brothers react to an mc that wants to out-spoiled Rose but only with her around? MOSTLY just to piss her off but also- "I'm the youngest now! Of all the families. I don't care if she was young when she died, that was decades ago. I don't care if the others never care about rose- i do. Spoil ME!"

Jere and Derek wouldn’t catch on that it’s because of Rose, just to annoy her, that MC acts that way, but they would comply either way.

Alex and Max, however, notice that it’s only when Rose is near that MC acts that way. They aren’t that close to her, so they would join in your rouse to make her jealous 😂

And Rose... oh, she would seethe just being near MC and their caring boys ✨

I am pretty sure ??? is not the father but.. it would be sooo funny if MC is going to be a step parent to the others... and an actual, real step parent to Derek which I think is just funny because imagine that for that probably hundreths of years younger person, knowing nothing of being a vampire or themselves, suddenly being your step parent. And the way exspecially Alex would probably tease Derek about it.

Going from being the baby of the house to being the Father’s babe— I mean, Enrique’s lover 😉, hence possibly the other head of the house, would surprise the boys so much.

While in Mond’s hierarchy, only the head of the house would matter, inside that house, it’s another matter. Although all the boys would be respectful, that doesn’t mean they can’t tease each other, MC and Enrique.

And poor Derek would be the most confused of all.

Someone around his age, his human age, is the new partner of his father. And if he thinks about his and Enrique’s real age, MC is someone more than two hundred years younger than them, it’s even worse 🤣

And yes, Alex wouldn’t waste any opportunity to tease Derek about it, and MC, for that matter.

Have the ROs ever killed anyone? I’m assuming as a vampire they’ve done it but as a human? Would they care if MC had as a human?

Only Max and Alex have killed while still being human. It’s part of their background. It will be boarded in the game :)

As for the second question...

 Derek, Siliva, and Lorian/Locke have the same time as vampires, which is... a lot. And they have more or less detached themselves emotionally from humans, so they would not mind if MC had killed before.

And while Max and Alex are significantly younger than the others, due to circumstances from their past, they would not mind either.

Jeremiah, however...

The poor baby would have so many conflicting emotions.

How aware are the ROs if they have a crush? Do they brush it off? Lie to themselves? Or do they accept it?

It’s also normal to notice things in other people, like their mannerisms, the way they talk, and their habits, and try to help them with things I know they don’t like. Max: If his crush isn’t a woman? Everything is fine; he knows and accepts it. But if a woman somehow catches his attention? Well, two things can happen, although the ending will always be the same. He could lure said woman, get physical with her, and forget about her the next day. Or if he thinks his feelings might get the best of him, he will back away immediately. In the end, he will not allow himself to develop any kind of feelings. That doesn’t mean it cannot happen :)

Alex: He knows when he likes someone, and he has no problem admitting it to himself or the other person.

Jere: He takes a long time to realize when he has a crush on someone. It’s like: “Oh, here they come. It’s nice how they always manage to make me happy with their presence. How can I give them back even a little of the joy they bring me? Wait, my heart beat a little fast when they got a little too close to me. Huh. Probably nothing. Anyway...”

Siliva: She also notices pretty quickly when someone catches her eye. And at first, she doesn’t mind and goes with the flow. But things start to get serious? She backs away and denies everything, even if she’s already a lost cause.

Lorian/Locke: They don’t notice at first, but if they spend enough time with the person, they eventually do. And if they think it could be the right person, they won’t mind. Otherwise, they will bury their feelings deep down and try to get over it.

???: They know from the moment they start to think daily of that person. From the warm feeling that spreads in their chest at their memory. From the laughs, they share together. From the way they wish to see them when they’re apart. They know they’re a lost cause when they get lost in those eyes and smile, not minding one bit.

Firstly, oh my god! I cannot tell you how much I mourned when I thought that this IF would be one of those WIPs that will never update again and my heart cheered as I saw your tumblr and I was like "My vampire found family!!!" (つ≧▽≦)つ

Second, oh my god! Jeremiah! Jeremiah my cutie pie! The sunshine of my world! The dandelion in the field of blood red lilies! Jeremiah, my savior! Jeremiah! Jeremiah! σ(≧ε≦σ) ♡

Aaaa I can't with him! He's so cute and wonderful and I'm completely obsessed especially towards him being MC's maker who is just the embodiment of a human disaster. Shy, clumsy, naive, who can't lie for shit and they're under the youngest who's still grappling the ropes too 😭. Jeremiah would really have to grow up more quickly than he had for the past couple of years as a vampire because if not, let's just say that my MC would accidentally brush more than once or twice inside the house, final destination style 😭🙏🏻 (It's a good thing they're already dead right? 😭) It's like having an unready teenage father, who thinks he can handle having a kid but it's more work than it really is and he's gonna be overwhelmed one way or another but it's a good thing that he has a strong support system!

Also, does anyone not see the potential for angst his route is? Like this man just wants to help. His compassion is really his Achilles heel and I really agree with the rest of the brothers that they're kinda worried for him. I'm kinda curious to see this further explored as the story goes on, especially to be confronted with the notion that maybe helping isn't really a good thing if the one you're helping is a literal villain/ess incarnate. How would the family react even to Vamp!MC who's a literal frozen baby deer in the headlights with a Human!MC that is just atrocious.

It's really funny too, if you think about it 😂

And I support the notion of not making sweet Jere and MC through any angst! The poor babies don't deserve it. (Though as much as I loathe it, I can't make any promises…)

I saw you saying Tulip 🌷 is for our family. What are the other flowers for the other families? Also, do they have any meanings?

The flowers for each family are:

Mond - Marigold

Moonlight - Tulip

Delacroix - Lily

Lovelace - Orchid

Rosemerte - Sunflower

Each family crest will have its own flower.

And yes, there is a reason for each of their flowers. Someone chose them. And said flower represents the leader of each family.

In Mond’s case, the marigold (in Mexican culture, associated with el Día de Muertos) can serve as a bridge between the living and the dead, a guide for the souls of the deceased, or a symbol of life and death. This is for Layre.

For the Delacroix, the lily can represent beauty, elegance, devotion, and strength. Just how Belladonna acts.

The orchid in the Lovelace family is for sensuality, love, and charm. In this case, it’s for both Braxton and Ivonne.

Ironically, for vampires, the Rosemertes have a sunflower, for it means joy, optimism, and loyalty. A sunflower dutifully follows the sun, no matter what... So, what happens when their sun disappears? Madeleine knows.

And in the end, the Moonlight’s tulip. In Enrique’s case, the tulip doesn’t represent him but the thing he lost: perfect love.

If it isn't too spoilery to ask, will the relationship between Alex and Derek improve throughout the game? I feel like out of everyone, Alex misunderstands Derek the most and as well the other way around, Derek also misunderstands Alex the most, their ways of caring for others are so different that it clashes horrendously even though both of them have good intentions and kind hearts, so I can't help but think that getting them to understand each other better instead of measuring each other via their own personal ideals would do not only both of them but the entire family a lot of good

While most of their banter is ‘playful,’ it’s true they can be hot-headed with each other and misunderstand what the other is trying to say.

They can improve in this aspect :)

They can understand each other better through circumstances or help from others. They just need to know more about what shaped them into the men they have become.

After all, they have wants in common for their family. Both prioritize their safety, comfort, and well-being.

They just need a little push to work together instead of antagonizing each other ✨
