I just binge watched all there is of TADC (I watched the pilot when it came out but haven't really been into it since but have known stuff for a bit bc my siblings)

but like why are people hating on Ragatha? but then excusing Jax's actions? personally I'm excusing the majority of BOTH of their actions. I say both bc some aren't really good no matter their sircumstances.

like we know that Jax acts all nonchalant when you can tell he genuinely cares for the rest of the cast, he picks on them like how friends pick on each other (expect him telling gargle to kill themselves bc eugh) but still he is like those nonchalant characters in movies that are all nice in the end and yeah people like him

but then with Ragatha she has been nothing but sweet till maybe episode 4 when she got the stupid sauce in her eye, then she wasn't being kind to Gangle but I feel like that's a tough situation in a whole, like yeah she shouldn't have said that stuff but she also wasn't sober. then in episode 5 she was being more rude then normal but honestly? LET HER shes been nothing but kind up until now. however I won't forget about her whole "not anymore..." thing bc that just wasn't right on her end, especially since Jax might have trusted her with that information in the past

so, in conclusion I feel like both have their flaws with being kind and both definitely clash with each other but neither of them should be being absolutely shit on for (MOST) of their rude actions, yes Jax is an asshole but in my opinion (not trying to play down his actions) he is doing it out of protection of his own feelings, he has walls built up and when people try to protect themselves from being hurt again they typically hurt others weather they think its right or not. With Ragatha, she has also made mistakes and she's normally very protective over Pomni and the other members of the cast but her actions are also influenced by the walls she has put up from her past experiences. neither are perfect and neither should be criticized too harshly for how they cope with past experiences
