Is a square triptych a thing? Like three sets of three works that go together but also it works two different ways? If it isn’t I’m about to invent it I fear

Damn it I have to retype this whole thing but long awaited (I know it’s been six months)! I didn’t do the eyepatch though bc I didn’t want to

The frame - aluminum wire (chosen because it’s lightweight and malleable but can hold a shape). Ended up scrapping the first design (19 Sept 2024) in favor of a different shape molded around a pair of sunglasses (22 and 28 Sept 2024)

Extra components (teeth and mesh for eyes). Nose not pictured but I ended up using a similar method to making paper stars. (26 Oct 2024). Aluminum foil base to give it shape (16 Oct 2024) and then paper maché (26 Oct 2024).

The finished product!! Mounted to sunglasses because I didn’t want elastic making my hair look weird. I’m a bit of an innovator that way. It looks kinda sad mounted on my wall. (30 Oct 2024, 17 Mar 2025, 27 Oct 2024)

Overall this was really cool to make!! It was my first time doing this sort of thing from scratch and without guidance, so I’m quite proud of myself
