jean thinking xavier’s top surgery scars were from heart surgery is still one of the funniest moments in the book to me. up there with “oui señor !”

but on a real note it was fucking adorable that he worried for xavier when he thought it was his heart, and how quickly he accepted the concept of transitioning and top surgery lol

You know what's suspicious? How much Jean talks about everyone being shorter than him. This is clearly foreshadowing for tgr when he just starts lifting people and carrying them away like a sack of potatoes. Cat won't let them go home from the mall early? Yoink. Jeremy stuck with his shitty family? Yoink. Cody looking like they want out of a conversation? Yoink. Neil wants to say literally anything to a camera? Yoink.

Jean I love you and I believe you can overcome any obstacle but also. Most of these obstacles are under 5'8" and you never skip leg day. There is an obvious solution here.
