after escaping and leaking the evidence on the camcorder, he and eddie get new identities and start a new life from the ground up.

note: even if this is entirely just a self indulgent au for me this is not romantic like at all btw. waylon is severely unhappy and wishes to go back to lisa and his family but cant, he will never be happy with eddie. "but does this still count as weddie?" what the hell, sure.
