i saw a few posts about writing fics in the notes app instead of docs or word so i did that to try it out and uhhhh..... i have 1600 words done. i was planning on trying out the cocktober prompts for october to get into writing and had an idea i didn’t want to lose for the ‘ouiji board’ prompt but uhh i have the ouiji board, the kids are present, billy just barely entered the picture, and the word cock hasnt been used Once yet so.... that’s how this is going:)

Billy and Steve, standing underneath the bleachers in rainy weather, close enough that they can feel the others body heat, not close enough to touch yet, sharing a single cigarette, knowing that the silence here will end when the embers run out

They both drag on it slowly, drawing out its life, extending the time shared, trying to taste the other on the filter without ever giving word to that specific want

It's become a ritual, when the bell rings, ending their lunch break, as everyone else pours into classrooms, they find themselves here every day

Yesterday, today, tomorrow

An endless quiet limbo, unsure of how they really wound up here like this to start with, unsure of how to end it

When Billy hands the last bit to Steve, one more tentative pull and today's brief intermission is finished

But as he closes his eyes to enjoy the moment before it's gone, he hears the flick of a lighter, and looks to see that Billy lights up a second cigarette

And Steve smiles

Just some fun Harrigrove art. I struggled with this one a lot and I’m still not one hundred percent happy with it. But whatever. This one you won’t find on Redbubble because it got flagged. And like, the thing is? Let people sell fan art. It’s not like Netflix is putting out content for this ship or like Billy Hargrove in general. Also, it doesn’t make sense to me that people get mad about artists selling fan art because of copyright? Like...does not compute? Fan art definitely enhances people’s interaction with the content and makes them more likely to keep interacting with it? Basically, fuck capitalism.

Are you ever just writing a fic and it’s not a true slow-burn because it’s gonna probably be under 25k words, but it is one of those fics where it takes them forever to get together and it’s so infuriating bc I wanna get to the fun fluffy/smutty bits but right now I have to deal with all this plot.

this is so niche but i want a renaissance au where Steve is in the Medici family in Florence and Billy is one of the artists picked up by the Medicis. I want ridiculously lavish settings. I want Steve to be all sexy with money and power. And I want Billy to paint nudes of his pretty boy muse on commission. I want them to fuck in Billy’s studio that was set up in one of the family houses
