if you don't see the point of the kens in barbieland being treated like women in the real world (minus the abuse), and then those kens rising up in the wrong way and treating the barbies even worse than they treated the kens, and barbie simultaneously going through her whole crisis of realising how terrible the world treats women, and barbie and ken simultaneously having their whole arcs of both feeling like they aren't good enough because of the way their worlds treated them, and then the movie ending with the barbies and kens working toward being equals, that's on you.
