She paused, and looked at him. Really looked at him, for a moment, the tip of her tongue touching to her canine. Bruce. That son of a bitch.

"I'm going to remove his lungs through his mouth."

"And how in the hell am I supposed to know that? Am I psychic?" She pinched the bridge of her nose, torn between being angry and sympathetic.

"Why were you in Arkham." It came out as an exasperated sigh.

His nose wrinkles a little and he mumbles under his breath. “The fuck d’ ya want me t’ say, Talia? I been stuck in Arkham for six fuckin’ months.”

On Power Girl, they call it the “boob window” and it’s the source of a lot of discussion and controversy. Probably because creators keep calling unnecessary attention to it!

But that’s not really the point of the post. What seems strange on Power Girl (perhaps because we expect a superhero to have an insignia on their chest?) is actually a fashionable and flattering look for a busty woman when she wants to dress up.

Keyhole dresses have looked amazing on red carpets on busty celebrities like Katy Perry, Alice Eve and Kim Kardashian as well as Nina Dobrev or covered in sheer panelling for a more demure look on people like Jennifer Lawrence, Beyonce and even Taylor Swift.

Talia al Ghul has all the beauty and confidence and love for fashion of these celebrities as well as a comic book-sized bustline and so is a big fan of the keyhole dress (or shirt sometimes) and this is a tribute to that style.

I am short $200 for my tuition and can’t register for next semester until I pay it.  Please please please help!  Graduating in Spring is so important to me, I want to make my family proud and finally get to get out and teach my own class!  I can barely afford to pay my dog’s vet bills right now, but I scrounged up all I could so she would get better.

I’m currently working on verifying my bank account with my PayPal, so it won’t be able to take donations for a day or two, but please keep me in mind!

Update, my PayPal account is all sorted out now, the fundraiser is fully active.  Please, I could really use some help!

She struggled to keep her voice even and without snark -- tried not to get snappy. "I didn't do anything, Bruce. They found my name in a man's datebook, and I was the last person to see him alive, and they say they have other evidence.." 

She was getting anxious, and not the good kind -- and Talia swallowed the lump in her throat and twisted the phone's cord around elegant fingers. "Bruce, I would not call you if I did not absolutely need your help. I'll do whatever you ask, in return. Just.. please."

From the sound of Bruce's voice, he sounded truly hesitant -- and Talia didn't know who else she could call.

the world is going to burn

  Bruce listened intently to her words over the phone receiver, processing and mulling over each syllable. The way the words left her lips, and were heard by him made him assume the statement was of genuine need. The situation, on the other than, was ridiculous to him. Talia, a woman who was surrounded by assassins most of her life, was arrested by Georgian police, Macon of all places. That brought up the issue of what she was doing in Macon, and what she had done to bring police attention to her. It didn’t sound like something he wanted a part of. "And why should I help you, Talia? No matter how ‘podunk’ the jail, you had to have done something to justify being jailed."
