After starting to make more money my eating habits became the death of me. Fried and fast food heaven. And i was a vegetarian. Some how i pack on 40 pounds from 2009. Now i am on the mission to lose 20 pounds by December 20th, when i graduate from Penn State. During the next few months i will use this as my food and exercise diary. Feel free to suggest things that work for you or need advice. i am learning just like everyone else but i have motivation and motivation is contagious Live.Love.Be healthy <3

The Truth about Bagels! The bagel is one of the quickest breakfast or snack meal that's sold in stores everywhere. But no one tells you how bad they are. Nope. It's not that it's horrible for your body but unless you plan on going to the gym right after you eat a bagel, just skip it. The average bagel has 50 to 60 grams of crabs and 350 calories. That's effort you add the butter or cream cheese. 馃槺 That's equal to 3 or 4 slices or bread. Without the fiber in those carbs they digest quicker and it turns into sugar that sticks to your hips, thighs, and belly. Luckily there are alternatives that will allow you to still enjoy good food for breakfast. -Try having a mini bagel. You cut back on calories and a lot of places given you that option. -Try whole grain bagels. More vitamins, minerals and fiber than a regular bagel. -Use low fat topping like low fat creme cheese -Scoop out the center. That is about 100 calories per bagel and 10 pounds lost a year!

I'm back!
It's been a little while since my last post. I've been super busy. Since I have been away I have officially missed 3 days of the gym. But I got back into the groove of things yesterday. I have discovered this stepping machine. It's not the rotating stair master of death but a machine that works your legs and your booty! Last week we did a cycling class. If you are looking for a good source of cardio, resistance and endurance cycling is awesome! The only problem I had with it was the seat made my butt hurt! But it was a great workout!!!!!!! My eating habits slacked for 2 days because I went to NYC for a the weekend. On Times Square there's a Godiva store. Aww man. I got chocolate cover strawberries and bananas. And we got lunch from Fridays. The good thing was they listed the calories of all the foods so I didn't chose the salad with 1300 calories. Today I had 12 grain toast with peanut butter and fruit and nut granola. It was good!!! And hearty!
