Weekly update!

This week’s progress was a little different, I had a series of variables to fix.

I added the button for Day 2 in the menu, along with a small introduction so you can continue the game without having to go through Day 1 again. This feature is still pretty rough, just so the testers can check the game in its current state.

Now there’s another short scene with Pierrot I’m working on, before I can finally start introducing the other members. So many sprites will need to be made for them… They’re definitely going to be the most demanding part, and to think this first half was already quite a challenge! Check out the menu and more:

Weekly update

I got stuck for quite a while on a small scene, but this time it was more my fault some of the player’s choice connections weren’t working the way they should, so it took a lot of testing to finally get it right.

I’m also not too sure yet how the saves will work, so I’m creating a button in the menu that lets you jump straight to Day 2 if you don’t want to replay everything, and that’s requiring a lot of testing too.

This time something funny happened with Pierrot in the scene with Harlequin, his eyes are showing.

But I’m really happy that the script is already past the halfway point, and now the complex parts are starting Ticket Taker, Jester, and Doctor’s introductions will start being programmed next week and those are my favorite parts. And also, thank you so much for all the support! I didn’t expect the plushie goal to be reached and in just one day!
