I spent a lot of time this morning trying to figure out if I hate or love Trinidad James.  This kid came from virtually nowhere (literally; it was youtube fame) and now has a 2 million dollar Def Jam deal, which is loveable.  But it's for All Gold Everything, which is so painfully lumbering, it barely conjures up ironic appeal.  His fashion statements are fantastic, his lyrics and flow, sadly, are not as fortunate. I love some blatantly horrible music, but it remains to be seen if I can come around to Trinidad James.

I love Waka Flocka Flame.  I love Ke$ha.  This is the part where you write me off completely as having the worst. taste. ever.  And maybe rightfully so.  But this is less about the music, and more about the attitude.  You know what I love?  An artist who can recognize that they're party music, no more, no less.  Let's not hate on fun, alright?  Waka Flocka KNOWS he's gimmicky party music and doesn't pretend. Ke$ha loathes the pretentious.  Dime-a-dozen factory artists who ride some sort of snobby, creative high-horse are who we should openly detest.  (Looking at you, Soulja Boy).

So without further ado, here is the video that justifies my Waka Flocka Fandom.  Waka responds to YouTube comments on his videos.  You should likely not watch this in the event you are easily offended, as it features adult themes and a total abuse of the word "squad".  I love it.
