“What is with you?” Iruka demanded rounding on Kakashi as soon as the door closed. “Why are you making such an issue with the scene today?”

“I can’t act in this scene, because I won’t be acting in it Iruka.”

Iruka’s brows furrowed. “What do you mean, you won’t be acting in it? We’re actors Kakashi. This is our job. And, surprise, surprise, what you have been doing today, out there,” he pointed to the wall, “is NOT acting.”

Kakashi hesitated for a moment, then pulled down his mask, baring his face to Iruka, feeling like he didn’t want his barrier between them when he spoke the words he was about to say.

“I don’t…damn it! Iruka, I won’t be acting out there today, because it won’t be Detective Nakamura out there okay? It’ll be me! ME! Kakashi Hatake, your lover, your boyfriend! And..” He stopped talking, and sighed, lowering his voice, the earlier agitation in it gone. “And, because of that everyone on set will know. About you and me. About our relationship.”

2021 KakaIru Week and Kakashi’s Birthday Celebrations!

We’re excited to reveal the prompts for KakaIru Week 2021!

This is an open event. You do not need to sign up. Everyone is welcome to join!

You can write or draw something for one day or all eight! Create something for one prompt a day or both. Or combine both daily prompts in one work.

Feel free to interpret the prompts any way you’d like!

Rules and Guidelines

Works must be endgame KakaIru.

Art, fic, and all other works are welcome!

There’s no minimum word count for fics.

All works should be created for this event. Old works are not allowed.

There are no restrictions on rating or content, but be sure to tag your work appropriately.

Please make it clear which prompt you are filling by including it in your tags or notes.

Post on the designated day if you can, but if not, late posts are also okay.

We have an AO3 collection for the event here, and we encourage you to post your works to the collection.

If you are posting to AO3 or tumblr, use “KakaIru Week 2021” as a tag. If you are posting on Twitter, use #KakaIruWeek2021.
