What is it?

Basically it’s sort of like a past paper. It’s a system where you put all the practice questions for any test in one place. If you find a topic a bit tricky, write a question about it to help you test your knowledge hem come back to it later to answer.

Best/ most effective ways of using this:

There are tons of useful resources for creating this! Some of my favs include Google Forms and Quizlet.

Google Forms — can create your own questions and customise them to your needs.

Quizlet — once you put all the terms in it automatically makes flash cards and questions for you.

Benefits?

its pretty self explanatory tbh. doing practice questions for a topic is a very effective way of studying and being able to remember the information.

yeah, for me structure is important but when I aim too high, I just tend to give up and in structure of some other institutions I do not give my full performance. So I am trying to find a good balance that has both.

i’ve fully turned into a nocturnal being. kind of miss the structure in my life that school usually provides, but also enjoying the relative freedom i have now.

Another exam in 16th ! I am so behind studies! [Progress so far]

I have another exam in this 16th of December of 2023. I have completed half of python and resoning, ICT.

General knowledge is endless, I don't know what should I target in that. I did completed reasoning aptitude except sitting arangement puzzles My english is done so no need to work on that. Hindi I have tried complete but I am unable to remember that many vocabulary. However I have touched all the major parts of the all topics in that subject.

So today I will try to complete the whole teaching aptitude and pedagogy. Then tomorrow I will complete the rest of python.

Only things left are half of teaching aptitude, half of python and little bit of hindi.

If only I can learn like neo in matrix 😅

"Two month review of using this flip phone"

For context, I’ve been using this japanese flip phone from kyocera. The specific model of this unit is the Kyocera 701KC. This phone was released in late 2017 and is therefore showing its age. As a device for digital minimalism or just for reducing social media time, I think this device fits perfectly for me. I said, “for me” because the usage depends very much on what an individual is willing to compromise. In my opinion the biggest drawback of using this device is it’s software, it’s running android 5 which is very old and most of the banking app that I use is not supported, more and more apps will also be not supported anymore in the near future, this device also don’t have support for google services, you have to sideload the apps you want to use, but if you can look past that, this may work for you. Another problem that I often run into is its wifi connection. When the device is closed or on stand-by for quite a while the wifi suddenly disconnects so when you unlock the phone it will take around 30 seconds to 1 minute to connect to the wifi. 

For its advantages, it really reduced my time on social media. It’s slow, but it taught me to be a little more patient and calmer. I had more time doing things that matter, such as reading or just being in the moment. Another benefit is that this phone is strong! It’s durable. If you’re clumsy like me, things will keep falling out of your hand, and sometimes things jump out of your pocket when moving around. This guy can take hits. One time, it fell off the stairs. I thought it would be shattered, but to my surprise, all it had was a small chip of paint removed. So, would I recommend buying this? Depending on the price and inconvenience you’re willing to pay. As I said earlier if you want to use this there will be some compromises, and even if you’re willing to pay the cost I recommend newer devices such as the Kyocera Digno 901KC or the Unihertz Jelly series, this has better software and is much more likely to be usable for a longer period of time.

Completed boolean logic and and further studied ..

Well I have looked at the logic gates. I also read number systems of binary, octal, decimal and hexadecimal and also learnt how to convert decimal system to those other types. Read about encoding schemes ASCII, ISCII, and UNICODE (UTF-8 , UTF-16, UTF-32). I still don't understand what are the exact differences between UNICODE and ISCII but that have to wait for another day.

So I have been reading slow. From yesterday to day, I have completed only 1 thing which is boolean logic, Such as NOT, AND, OR, NAND, NOR, XOR, truth table, and Demorgan's law, I still have to look at logic circuits. I gues I will look at that now. My brainwave entrainment website and app is back burner right now. Not doing anything except posting blog articles when ever I get time.
