hello lovely people! my name’s caitee and I am so excited to be bringing my sweet bb sohye into this rp with you all! sohye is 26, a mutant with plant manipulation, and owner of a lovely little flower shop called the sunflowery. sohye was born into a rich, human, family, her father a businessman and her mother a housewife.

when they discovered sohye was a mutant, they put their money and reputation first, and hid her away. 

sohye was, essentially, kept prisoner in the attic of her family home from the ages of 5 to 15.

she wasn’t allowed to leave, and the only people she ever talked to were her mother and tutor, and even then neither of them were ever there for long when they came. 

(tw: death by fire) a house fire is what freed her, her power helping her to escape, but it took the entire house and her whole family with it. 

she spent a few years in a foster home where she slowly started to learn how to function around other human beings. 

she was allowed access to her inheritance when she turned 18—which ended up being quite a lot of money—and she used a good chunk of it to open up her flower shop. 

she lives above her shop and is there most days so if you’re ever looking for her that’s probably the best place to start.

she has an innate desire to care for and protect people (the way she was never cared for or protected), and her door is always open to mutants needing a safe space. 

most of the time she’s friendly, relatively soft spoken, and generally exudes positive energy. 

she becomes almost a different person when it comes to how outspoken she is about mutant rights. 

she’s extremely involved in the pro-mutant movement, attending protests and demonstrations as often as she can, and even being involved in the organisation of these things fairly regularly. 

her passion is born from the mistreatment of her childhood and her desire to ensure no one ever has to go through what she, and what so many other mutants, has had to go through.
