How-To Guide For Creating Banners/Headers & Ribbons For Your Blog
Wanting to customize your blog? So when people see it, they go "hey! I know that!" Or, maybe you just want to create your own blog aesthetic? Then look no further! This post is for you!

Lucky enough, anyone can do graphic design on the internet these days. My favorite design tool to use is Canva, because it's totally free and user-friendly for anyone.
First, you're gonna go to Canva and make an account.
Once you're all signed in and ready to create a Design, these are the Dimensions you're going to want to remember. Truly, if you take anything away from this post, this is all you need to really COOK: - Header/Banner: 3,000 x 1,055 px - Ribbon (think "18+, DNI" images on posts): 2,560 x 144 px You tell Canva to create a Design with these specific dimensions and BOOM you're in business. From there, you can select the colors you'd like! You can also choose to utilize their "Elements" tool, which has a lot of free-to-use images, icons, and shapes that you can use to match your blog theme or.... interests. OR, you can upload your very own!
Then "Share," "Download," "JPEG." BOOM upload via Customize on your blog page for Headers, or add the image to the top/bottom of your posts for Ribbons.
This is how I made every element for my blog, because I made myself a whole little theme/aesthetic with certain colors! So if you want any help or inspo, I'm here for you!! GO CRAZY, KIDS.
