My gesture drawings from class with @randy_haycock Admittedly, I have always struggled in this area. I was asked recently what advice I have for future CG animators. My response is draw, draw ..and draw some more! It helps in every aspect of CG animation. I love and appreciate the journey that took me to my career (wouldn't trade it for he world) but sometimes I'd like to go back in time, slap myself across the face and say, "Pick up that sketch pad you fool!" ;) (at Walt Disney Animation Studios)

"Three caballeros" was such an influential movie for me growing up, so I chose Jose Carioca for my animation test. Spent today just drawing the character to get used to his proportions.
