Okay, awesome! I'm definitely open to seeing what we can come up with. Fair warning - I am not at all familiar with Rick. Hahah omg if he got into an altercation with Barney, Lily would probably be cheering him on! Let's see.. I'm planning on having Lily be around 30 right now, so that would have made her like 23 when Carl was in kindergarten? So that actually works pretty well - he would probably have been in her first class, assuming, of course, that Lily taught at Hillwood Elementary from the time when she graduated college. And for the sake of our plot, let's just say that she has, haha. So yeah, we could have had Lily and Rick meet through that and they've just sort of developed a friendship since then?
OOC | Rick & Lily
I can see these two getting along. Rick’s generally a pretty chill guy and Lily’s obv the actual bomb so there’s that. ;DDD I mean, I feel like he might have some altercations with Barney which might make things awkward ;DDDDD But I think he’d generally like Lily and Marshall, etc. Maybe Lily even taught Rick’s son, Carl, when he was little? Carl’s now, like, 12, so idk if Lily would’ve been too young or whatever (I can’t remember how old she is tbh hahaha) but yeah. Thoughts?

Marshall to the Rescue || Marshal & Lily
"Marshalllll," Lily called, closing the door to the apartment behind her and dropping her school bag unceremoniously next to the doorway. She kicked off her shoes and threw her coat on the coat rack with a grunt, then shuffled into the kitchen to grab a beer. After expertly removing the cap, she took a swig of it, belched loudly, and flopped onto the couch.
Lily was not the most ladylike woman in the world, but it was very rare that she was quite this unrefined. But after the day she'd had, she thought that she deserved to let loose a little. Between the gigantic paint spill that her little terrors had created in the classroom to being guilt-tripped into overseeing the set design for the school play, Lily could feel a major headache coming on. And the one and only person perfectly equipped to dispense with what promised to be the Headache of the Year was nowhere to be found... where on earth was Marshall?, Lily wondered, pouting.

Wow so I totally thought that I responded to this and then I completely dropped off the face of the roleplaying earth... I AM SO SORRY!!! So here is my very late response:
Ahh thanks! Haha I totally agree, I adore Marshall. I haven't completely forgiven Lily for leaving him in season 1, but I finally like her again, at least, haha. And I'm so glad that Dan is like Marshall - of all the TV characters to resemble, Marshall is definitely a good thing!
Finally, yes, let's start! And to make up for being awful and taking WAY TOO LONG to respond, I'll go ahead and start. Posting that next! :)

Ahh yes I totally 100% agree! Actually, my plot with Charlie kind of centers on Jess - he's recruited Lily's help in trying to attract Jess' attention and woo her. And, as we know, Lily loves matchmaking, so obviously she's in. And she's probably going to be super obvious about it. How do you think Jess will feel about that - if she even notices it?
OOC | Jess & Lily
Hello! It’s Kate, again. So we must chat about these two!! They both work in the elementary school together and, I think, would really get along and just like come up with all these amazing teaching ideas together and also like probs gossip about their friend groups ;DDDDD

I totally agree! I can definitely see them getting along. Fun mini-plot idea - what if we have Lily try to set Jenna up with Ted? And obviously it would fail miserably, but that could be really amusing, haha
ooc | Jenna & Lily
I feel like these two would really get along and like they might be drinking buddies?? (well, when Jenna only had to worry about keeping a goldfish alive and not two teenage kids haha) Also, even though Lily isn’t a mother yet, I feel like she def has more experience with kids and Jenna would be like “help!” when dealing with Elena and especially Jeremy, haha. :D

Lily sighed and nodded in confirmation, "The messiest." She shook her head. "But I'm glad that there's an upside - you're way less smelly than the last janitor," she teased.
Lily raised an eyebrow - apparently someone had a crush. "Borderline stalking, huh? Lucky for you, I'm somewhat of a former stalker myself - had to meet Marshall somehow!" She grinned. "And yes, actually, Jess and I are pretty close... we share some common interests." No need to mention that the main common interest is beer... Lily thought to herself. "You know, for starters, what's so hard about just talking to her, like you are to me? Jess ranks up there with me on the list of teachers with messy students - I guarantee you're going to be called into her classroom sooner rather than later."

"Thanks, my fiance thinks so too," Lily replied, smiling. She could never tell if guys were flirting, but she always threw out the "fiance" bit as soon as possible just in case. Even though she loved to get compliments. A lot.
"A professional, huh?" She cocked an eyebrow, feigning disbelief. "Well, be warned, my students are professional mess makers. They will definitely keep you busy. I apologize in advance."
"Sawdust? That's a handy trick. Guess you are a professional!" Lily said, this time truly impressed. She'd have to remember that. It looked like Charlie was going to be a much better janitor than his predecessor, an old grump who would rather sleep than clean - although, Lily couldn't really blame him for that. She'd rather sleep than teach. And, truth be told, she frequently found excuses to do so. Nap time was her favorite part of the day, much to her students' dismay.
"I've been teaching here for five years... so yes, I do know all the other teachers," Lily replied. That was sort of a strange question. "Um, I suppose I'm good friends with them. Some are kind of prudish though." She frowned, thinking of Mrs. Hennessy, who was a stereotypical school marm, frizzy grey hair and horned rim glasses and all. "But they're all nice, for the most part, at least they are to the rest of the staff. And the fun ones are a lot of fun."

Lily sighed. “Washable paint, my ass,” she grumbled to herself as she aggressively scrubbed her cardigan in the classroom sink. Her least favorite student - she tried so hard not to have favorites but then some of the little angels turned out to be slightly demonic and did stuff like this - had decided to pretend to be some sort of paint-throwing monster. Ben Crane looked like a sweet kid, with big blue eyes, round little cheeks, and an adorable little bowl cut, but he was a holy terror in the classroom. Lily had told the secretary that Ben accidentally dropped some paint on the floor because she didn’t want to look like she’d lost control of her class and she didn’t want to scare off the janitor, but the truth was, the entire floor was now blue, with the exception of tiny little kindergarten footprints making their way to the door and slightly bigger Lily-sized footprints crossing to the sink. And, of course, her cardigan had Ben-sized handprints all over from where he’d struggled to steal back the paint that she’d snatched away from him as quickly as she could.
Lily looked up at the sound of the unfamiliar voice announcing the arrival of the new janitor. “Oh, hi,” she said sheepishly, quickly rinsing off her hands in the sink. “I’m Lily Aldrin… um, welcome to 105?” She sighed. “I’m so sorry about the mess. I swear we’re not usually this messy here.” At least, not in the other classrooms, she mentally added… this sort of thing was a semi-regular occurance for Miss Aldrin’s class. “We just had a bit of a paint accident,” she finally said as explanation. Understatement of the year. “But it’s a pleasure to meet you, Charlie!” she gave him a bright smile, hoping it would partially make up for the crazy mess the poor man was about to clean up.
Paint Spill | Charlie & Lily
"Just to be clear, you want me to go to classroom 105, not 115?” Charlie asked, for the fourth time since he had been told by one of the secretaries that there had been some kindergartener had dumped two things of paint on the floor.
The secretary told him, again, that it was Miss Aldrin’s class (not Miss Day’s) that needed the attention. Charlie had been on the job for five hours and hadn’t had any reason to go to Jess’s classroom - if this kept up he’d have to stay after work and replace the lightbulbs with burned out ones and forget to empty her trashcans til she got there in the morning.
He sighed, picking up his cleaning materials, and sulked down the hallway. But he lightened up when he considered that this might not be a total loss: the classroom was empty except for the teacher (the kids were at music) and hey, if he couldn’t talk to Jess herself, wasn’t a fellow teacher the next best thing?
"Knock, knock, knock," Charlie said stepping into the doorway, "I’m Charlie, the newww janitor here. You’re the one with the paint spill? I’ll just jump right on that.” He said.

HAHAHA oh my gosh that is hilarious! I think Lily would probably find him to be very amusing - slightly creepy, but overall harmless, like you said. She'd also probably think his crush on Jess adorable but she'd feel super bad for him since nothing is likely to really come of it ever. And she'd also be like "Thank God Marshall didn't become a janitor and stalk me to try and get MY attention!"
So yes, let's be friends <3
ooc | Lily & Charlie
Okay, so this is Charlie. He’s completely uninformed about everything tbh?? Like he lives in his own little Charlie-world and honestly, it’s amazing he has an apartment and a job, let alone survived, haha. He just thinks he like knows everything, when in reality he’s probably the most ignorant person you’ll ever meet. Anyway, he’s got a huge crush on Jess Day from New Girl, so he’s gotten a part time job as a janitor at the elementary school to stalk her basically, so he’d probably see Lily a lot. Especially since she teaches kindergarten and I feel like he’d be needed a lot to help clean up.
Overall, I think he’d be pretty nice to Lily and probably like her, since I feel like she’d be pretty nice to him, as long as he seems pretty harmless, even if she thinks he weird. I can see him coming into Lily’s classroom and trying to ~casually strike up a conversation about Jess and asking really obvious questions and generally being a fail (although he is an awesome janitor, so there’s that.)

Me too!!! Haha Dan and I actually say that Lily and Marshall are our relationship alter egos because they act pretty much just like we do… I don’t have *that* much in common with Lily, but I swear Dan is the real life version of Marshall, ha. So this should come pretty naturally!
So excited that Tina’s Marshall! This shall be perfectttt
Umm.. Yeah, I think recently engaged would be great too! I think there’s the most flexibility with that. And we can just skip over the god awful breakup at the end of season 1, for the time being… that was the worst *cringes*
ooc | Marshall & Lily
I LOVE THESE TWO SO MUCH I DON’T EVEN KNOW AHHHHH. They are so perfect. <3333 Also Tina is playing Ted and she’s actually awesome, so this trio will be the end of me. ;DDDD
So idk where you want to start with their relationship? I was thinking that they’d be recently engaged, but I’m up for having them married or dating or broken up or basically whateves, haha. <33
