I’ve been experiencing so much anxiety lately.

Just heart beating out of my chest, even when there’s nothing to really fear.

The attention economy is what I have qualms about.

I’m watching some old videos I made speaking about why I started feeling overwhelmed about creating content.

Overconsumption, for firsts. But also the marketing aspect.

Social media has become all about marketing. It’s hard to create without the desire to become the algorithm’s favourite. You have to use keywords, the first 3 seconds of your video needs to grab attention. Use graphics, do audience research, do this, do that.

I think also I suffered at the hands of my own interest in marketing. So much of the way I used or even use social media is from the perspective of a Digital Marketer and future marketing specialist. And obviously, my mind that forces me to overthink about everything.

But either than that, I hate how social media is becoming intrinsic in everything we do presently. How personal branding needs to also be done with consideration of how you package yourself.

I really hope that the resurgence of offline media comes soon. I’m so tired of seeing content about how to become a content creator, even if it is my concealed desire.
