made a thing based on how december 2023 looked for me! i made this not because its nostalgic (like bffr this was less than 2 yrs ago) but because it was a time where, despite the constant stress, i was comfortable!

so heres an explanation of this image in chronological order:

• unfinished art project:

i remember sitting on my bedroom floor painting this surrealist painting for an art assignment.

• favorite dessert place closed:

while doing my art project, i would always order this one specific dessert from that specific dessert place, so that shit broke me when it closed without warning </3

• idv memes ーー> grandmas house:

my parents left to london that month, leaving me and my siblings to stay at my grandma's house, and i looked at identity v memes on discord to pass the time.

• grandmas house ーー> build a bear frog:

while my parents were at london and i was at my grandmas house, i had to beg them to bring back a build a bear frog.

• build a bear frog ーー> sherlock:

i honestly cant remember the correlation between them but i know it exists.

like the idv discord memes, i looked at old tumblr posts about sherlock that were reposted to pinterest when i found out about it.

ooh boy was it a coincidence that i found out about this show right when i was starting finals. but seriously that show CARRIED me through it.

for my whole senior year i was signed up for these tuition groups that trained us for these final exams better than schools could.

only explanation i have for this is that i once brought a thermos with hot milk to a big tuition revision session.

where i live, 12th graders have to take final exams at government schools, and thats what happened with me. it was a new and scary experience for me,,,
