“ YOU KNOW, ” HE SAYS, TAKING A BIG SWIG FROM HIS BEER MUG. “ There are very few people that FRITZ actually likes, besides myself of  course.  Although, without any uncertainty he is a KIND beast; quite like myself he  is  weary of  people  and  hesitant  to trust them. ”  Dr. King Schultz takes yet another drink  from his mug,  and proceeds to wipe the  foam from the beer  off his mustache, with a small smile to himself.

“ But   the  moment  he  met  you,  he   was   IMMEDIATELY   drawn to you. ” he  is  grinning  at Fleurette, the sweet woman  he met  by an  unfortunate  event, and  even though  he knows  she cannot SEE his smile, but it could be heard in his voice. “ It is said that the way a BEAST  reacts  to someone says quite a lot about them. ”

Truthfully, he cannot recall the last time he smiled so hard, or the last time his heart felt so FULL. Surely, it had to be too good to be true, but King was not going to think about that. He was  going to carry on the way he always would.

“ Have you ever RODE a horse before? ” he asks.

my darling friend @theorphcn made me a beautiful theme ! it’s going to cause some clutter on my blog though because now i will have to make some changes and stuff, but i don’t have the time to do that at the moment. so please, be patient ! but jesus christ look at my gorgeous theme !!

With a laugh, Rollo shook his head and approached her. ❝You know, your enemies will not allow an opportunity to take you down pass so easily.❞ He knew he was being harsh on Kara but she needed to learn how to defend herself, otherwise she would end up in the wolve’s den. 

      He stretched his hand to help her rise from the ground, but kept the smirk. ❝Ready for another?❞

KARA WAS NOT THE BIGGEST, THE OLDEST, OR THE STRONGEST, but there was no doubt that she was by far one of the most determined person out there. she knew that she was capable to fight, for she spent much time on her own, defending herself from the cruelties of the world----------men, weather, animals,  but putting it into practice with someone as skilled as ROLLO made her goal seem unreachable.

she lets out a GROWL as his sword hit her shield, sending her barreling backwards, falling into the ground, shield  falling beside her. “ ‘ow c’n i grab my shield if y’keep knockin’ it out o’ my hands? ” she grumbled at him. she was out of breath, but still had a lot of fight left in her. 

kara blinks up at his hand, unsure whether or not she should take it. she was not accustomed to people who were fighting with her for training purposes. the few fights she’s been in (and lost) have been because she was stealing. hesitantly, she takes his hand and stands back up, positing herself in a fighting stance, shield back in her hand.

“ y’may have more muscles than me--------------------but i have more stamina than you could ever IMAGINE. C'mon! ”

“ I'm not a shop boy. I was just working in a shop. ”

let’s take a minute here to just sit and think about how much tristan thorn refused to settle for less than he deserves. tristan knows that his value is much more than what he owns or what his title is, or even what he makes for money. In the specific case of the context of this quote, he knows he can offer victoria so much more than humphrey ever could.

" all the way to Ipswich"? victoria, for your hand in marriage, i'd cross oceans or continents. [...] victoria, for your hand in marriage, i would go to the gold fields of san francisco and bring you back your weight in gold. I'd go to africa and bring you back a diamond as big as your fist. or I'd go to the arctic and i'd slaughter a polar bear and bring you back its head. ”

he didn’t care that she was shallow, he didn’t see her ugly personality, the only thing tristan saw was how much he thought he loved her and how much he wanted to do anything to prove it.

and in all honesty; he did so much more than humphrey ever could have in a million years. despite the fact that he didn’t have a wealth of money to offer her, he simply wanted to make her the happiest woman on earth.

although it took tristan a while to finally see his value, there are two people i think had an enormous part in that. of course, first and foremost his father dunstan thorn. despite the fact that tristan had just told him that he lost his job, when he saw how distraught over the fact that tristan didn’t think he was good enough for victoria, dunstan refused to let him believe it.

“ so you don't fit with the popular crowd. now, i take that as a very good omen. ”

then, he gave him the letter from his mother containing the babylon candle and he met the second person i think helped tristan find his worth, and probably the most important; yvaine.

although they had a rocky start, i think without yvaine, tristan would have never realized that he TRULY deserved better than victoria. i think he would have spent his whole life dissapointed that he could never “get” victoria, and he would spend the entire rest of his life convinced that he was not good enough for anyone. 

yvaine showed him victoria’s true colours, and continuously pointed out to him that he was going for someone not that he couldn’t get, but someone who didn’t truly deserve him. that he was chasing after someone who wasn’t doing anything to prove how she felt, yet was demanding that tristan PROVE his love for her.

“ The little I know about love is that it's unconditional. It's not something you can buy.”

and most importantly, yvaine taught tristan that he was so much more than just a shop boy. although he had been saying it himself for quite some time now, it didn’t really resonate with him until yvaine said it. 

tristan:  “ Look, I admire you dreaming. A shop boy like me... I could never have imagined an adventure this big in order to wish for it. I just thought I'd find some lump of celestial rock, take it home and that would be it. ”

yvaine: “ If there's one thing I've learned about all my years watching Earth, is that people aren't what they may seem. There are shop boys, and there are boys who just happen to work in a shop for the time being. And trust me Tristan, you're no shop boy. You saved my life. Thank you. ”

he learned so much from yvaine, and finally gained the courage to stand up to humphrey, to stand up to victoria, and to tell them that they were both shallow and terrible and they would live a happy life together.

   Her brows furrow as she looks at Winger. For a moment, she says nothing, just to process the fact he really did just went on a rant about her HEIGHT. A thing completely out of her control. She just stopped growing. It happens to everyone eventually. Is this man always this dramatic?

      “Are you done?” she asks, finally. “I do own heels. I am just not wearing them at the moment. I didn’t know my height was this much of a PROBLEM to you.”

" ME? DONE? I DON’T THINK I’M EVER DONE. I CAN GO FOREVER. ” jeff then proceeds to look down at her and wink. that’s right--------------WINK. he was a man with very little shame, and a whole lot of confidence. even if he wasn’t, he would always somehow manage to act like he was. 

“ what about you---------------------SHORT STUFF-------------------are you done? am i not the one PAYING you to be here? ” he’s smirking, looking around at the school that he had in the palm of his hand; oh how his standards have dropped over the years. but in that moment, there was a sinking feeling in his gut. he hoped that his friends were not around while he wanted to use the study room.

She’d flinched with each and every round put into the very men who wouldn’t take no for an answer; left visibly shaken by the ordeal, and her knees buckled, leaving her sat on the inn’s porch. People lodging bullets in each other as a way of settling scores was not uncommon here—it was BARBARIC, certainly. A shame, then, that she wouldn’t use some barbaric tricks of her own.

As she was tended to with a gentle handkerchief and gentler hand, the albino woman dabbed at doe-eyes that welled with a mist of tears; a cocktail of shock and disgust.

It was hard to make the honest living of a musician that either OSTRACISED her for her appearance or (more unseemly) HARASSED her. Fleurette Jane Mayebelle just wanted to play the piano; nothing more, nothing less. She could not even have that.

THE ONLY PROPER RESPONSE THAT KING SEEMS TO BE ABLE TO MUSTER  UP   IS  A   SHAKE   OF   HIS HEAD. It never ceased to amaze him how barbaric people could be, and ESPECIALLY how barbaric men could  be, treating a beautiful creature like an OBJECT OF DESIRE or like something that is to be played with whenever   their hearts desired. he knew that there was nothing he could do about it----------------thinning out ALL the bad men would be a big under taking, but the little he COULD do, and the fräulein’s he could help, he always would.

his heart broke for the little dove who was CLEARLY (and with good reason)   quite    distraught   about   the   entire scenario. “ for BEASTS of that nature, no means yes, and yes meas something ever worse. ”  he wipes ONE LAST DROP from her skin and, offers her a hand to assist her on her feet once more.

he takes her by the hand, and opens the door of the inn, leading her in there and pulls a seat out for her. he   figured it would be best that she be in GOOD company right now, and that sitting would   feel   nice   after   such   a   terrible situation unfolded.

he sits across from her, a hand extending to rub the top of hers in a comforting way. “ ma petite dame française, you do not need to thank me! ” king insists, with a smile upon his lips. ” simply, i am so terribly sorry  you   had   to   PUT UP with that today. a LADY deserves to be treated as such. in my HUMBLE  opinion, the world is  severely   lacking in GENTLEMEN. ”

he pulls his hand back, reaching up to push his hair back slightly. “ could i get you un thé or something to  calm  your nerves, mademoiselle? ” he offers her.

PIERCING EYES GAZE AND EXAMINE THEIR SURROUNDINGS; illya was   not   someone   who   ever   missed  anything. that was part of the reason that he was so good and what he did &&   it   was   CERTAINLY   one   of    the reasons that he was not dead. no one could sneak up on him without him knowing, no   one   could   WALK   in   his direction without him hearing.  he was the best for a reason.

the kbg agent was ASSIGNED to a high  profile   case.   he   was   assigned   to   protect   AERYS   TARGARYEN’S DAUGHTER-------------------daenerys. not only was he one of the world’s most powerful   men,   with   leverage   over almost everyone’s head, his daughter was a well known figure. illya was not given the details-------------keep her safe or you are DEAD, was all he needed to hear.

walking beside her, towering over her, he had been watching two men that seemed to be following  them  the  whole night. he was mildly suspicious in the beginning, but now he was CERTAIN that they were being followed.

“ Take my hand. ” the russian says in an urgent whisper, poking at her petite wrist with his fingers.  “  i   will   explain later. ”
