As an adult they no longer talk to those people. It now helps people take care of ghosts and lets them rest. They collect old things, refuse to own smartphones, avoid eye contact, and don’t express their emotions well :) They don't have a gender it has a job

Harley is just me projecting all my issues onto a character. After they failed at trying to be a detective and an author, they decide that the next logical step is to infiltrate an assassin organization to try and take them down while saving the targets they’re assigned to by having them fake their deaths. Instead, they become friends with all of the organization’s members instead because they’re the first people to accept Harley for who they are. They work to reform all the assassins and discover that they all are mentally ill outcasts like he is and they become a found family. They have so many identity issues. They’re agender but tend to present more masc because they worry that people won’t consider her trans if she presents more fem. He also tends to act way more confident than he actually is because they’re worried about people realizing that they’re not actually an assassin and all their work being in vain. She tries to become friends with everyone she meets because being trans and autistic means that actually making and keeping friends is tricky. It is made doubly difficult because everyone has a special ability, and theirs is being able to see how connected two things are, so they can tell when their bond with their friends is fading or when people don’t actually like him. There is so much more I can ramble about, but it is 4 am, so I will leave you with the fun fact that they know how to sew and love making plushies to give to their friends as gifts. Also the art is by my friend @drawbucket on tumblr because I am not very good at art.

Vendor is my silly little fella, my favorite child <3 she also never gets a break ever <3 they're a being made out of smoke that is constantly hopping from town to town and dimension to dimension in a desperate effort to sell wares that are more often than not either broken, moldy, missing parts, or just barely passing off as not complete junk. he has a lacking moral code and a permanent smile plastered on his face at all times. he's also quite the charismatic individual! her parents got got by some sort of oversized wolf when she was younger, and now she has this odd obsession of keeping their memory and legacy alive, to the point where she's gone out of her way to mimic the way her father used to dress and act—her top hat used to belong to him, and she does everything in her power to keep it as pristine as possible despite how much danger she constantly gets herself into. also they were in a weird situationship with the embodiment of Guilt for a good while, too, and considering Vendor's severe attachment issues and obsessive habits [that include but are not limited to lying, guilt-tripping, encouraging and enabling addiction, disappearing without warning for who knows how long, spiking drinks, etc.], things did not end well for that relationship. after years of running around, he eventually met his demise to a person in a green mask with some canine-esque traits, and he was turned into a sentient computer virus that had lost any sliver of identity it may have had. it's left to scavange for any data it can steal in a desperate but futile effort to somehow piece itself back together.

Edith used to be the god of knowledge but quit because they hated their coworkers. unfortunately the ritual they used to get rid of her magic blew up an orphanage, resulted in the disappearance of a major city, got an entire town killed, and ruined her relationship with her amazing dragon wife. Edith then started a magic school to try to still help with the spread of knowledge without as many power-hungry people and became bffs with a retired clown. They are very sad about all the mistakes they’ve made but keep working to improve their school and help her students. Also they have doomed yuri with a dragon as previously mentioned. Also the entire party has agreed he is hot, so pretty people enjoyers and dragon kissers alike… VOTE EDITH!!

Levi is a half-triton Storm Sorcerer who was left in a coastal town as a baby. He was found and adopted by a human family, though when his parents had a biological kid, Levi started to get left behind. His powers manifested around 5 years old during a party where he was getting overwhelmed by the sound of people talking, and he accidentally summoned water in half of the guests lungs, nearly drowning them. Got the Elsa treatment and was locked away in his room for 15 years before finally running away after an incident where he may or may not have killed his younger sister... After being a failed adventurer, always messing up stuff, he ends up getting captured by pirates. Levi ends up staying with the pirates and becomes the boyfriend of the captain.

Byte is an experimental AI. It was initially trained on the most unbiased and professional research papers possible. Later, she was put in a robotic humanoid body and sent to live as a middle school girl, to see how well an AI can adapt to the world around it and grow a personality. It doesn't understand social cues well, but over time gets better at talking to others. It learns by imitating others, so her behavior is basically an amalgamation of the people she spends time with. Often, it will overcompensate for a trait it sees. Bring a middle schooler, it observes a lot of people having crushes, and greatly overcompensates on that. She has a new crush almost every week, and falls into the archetype of shy girl pining for the popular kid. She sometimes struggles internally with the knowledge that she's not "real." But for the most part, it's my comfort OC. I like to draw her just being a silly little guy, often awkward but undeniably "human" in the sense that This Is Just What Middle School Kids Act Like. (I will specify that I am very anti-AI. Byte is fictional and not reflective of my stance on AI or of how AI works irl.)

Cyan is the biggest wet rat to ever have existed. They're one of the main characters for the second part to my story, Secrets of Everwich (@secrets-of-everwich !!), and they are such a cringefail pathetic person it's not even funny. They also get possessed a lot (see the image !!) by a being named Other, which has Absolutely No Affect on the Story Whatsoever :D Anyway, they're very cool and mysterious until you discover that they have No idea how to talk to people except their Queerplatonic Partner, Rin, and Bestie Callie (who won the last OC tourney!!). They also have Beef with Rin's ex-girlfriend, and not just because Cyan is Rin's new partner. Cyan also is a dirty liar, and has lied to both Rin and Callie throughout most of the second part. If I were to describe them using other characters, I'd say they're very Siffrin ISAT, Sunny Omori, & Ralsei Deltarune coded. Cyan is an aroace agender person who is also autistic. Katy is a vampire girl who ran away from home and is now haunting a house that a bunch of ghosts lived in. Oops! She'll be very sneaky so I'm sure they won't notice or mind. She is gay and ace (but doesn't know about the ace part yet) She rejects her nature as a vampire and is slowly growing weaker due to it. Every day she has to file down her fangs. Yet even still her origins weigh on her, and, combined with the need to hide from her father, this leads her towards isolation, finding it easier to connect with the dead than the living. She works as a mechanic, but doesn't really need money, due to the whole vampire/undeath scenario she has going on. So often she just does it for free, or at cost. She has a silver dagger with a rosewood handle. It is for her father, should she ever get the chance.

Was a Top Gun oc I made in 2022, now has a storm chaser AU based on Twisters. Got into a bad accident while helping people that crushed his right leg, now requires mobility assistance. Storm chaser AU (current main version): went to college for Meteorology at the University of Washington. Got to join storm chasers on a chase and Taylor traveled down to Arkansas. Saw the destruction tornadoes can cause and swore that not only would he use his knowledge to help people, he would be a storm chaser and put himself on the front lines to keep people safe. After finishing his degree, he worked for several years before moving to Oklahoma with some college friends and becoming a storm chaser team. After 2 years, Taylor's best friend Maria ended up ahead of a tornado and pulled over to help a family whose car had broken down. She helped them get to safety in the ditch next to the road but ended up getting caught by the tornado and died. Taylor still chased after that, but became more reckless, chasing on his own a lot more. He was one of the primary storm chasers for the local weather stations, giving live updates from the field. After 5 years chssing mostly on his own, he found a car pulled over as a tornado was headed his way. Without thinking, he pulled over to help, quickly realizing they would not have time to get the truck started again. He told the people to get into the ditch and get low to the ground. Taylor wasn't far enough down the ditch when the tornado hit, and the door to his own truck got flung off and hit his leg. Everyone he helped came out with only minor injuries but he had to be air lifted to a hospital. His injury was so bad that he had to retire from storm chasing, but the people he saved, their families, and the weather stations he chased for all helped to pay his medical bills and the station offered him a job in an office to still monitor weather. He was stubborn, but accepted, and still works for the weather stations. He has convinced storm chasers to let him come with a couple times, though he has to stay in the vehicle to prevent walking to much and hurting his knee again.

Imogen is a siren who used to perform against her will at a corrupt traveling circus. After attempting to run away and getting caught, the ringleader beat her within an inch of her life and left her for dead. Luckily, she was left on a beach where a pod of sirens saved her. She was welcomed into the pod once she was healed. Imogen was taught how to use her voice to lure sailors to their doom and finally experienced the taste of human flesh. She discovered she enjoyed it. In the present, Imogen’s sights are set on a pirate named Ophelia (They/Them) , who has been cursed with immortality. Imogen’s favorite part of the day is flirting, luring, and then drowning them over and over. It’s okay, they’ll bounce right back 🩷.

Caro is an magical offshoot from humanity's first attempts at creating and maintaining fire, and as a result is both stupidly old and two seconds away from setting everything on fire. She keeps overheating electronics so she's not allowed to use them and is illiterate because the last time she tried learning English it took 200 years and then the spelling changes on her. Her hobbies include (very carefully to avoid the burning thing) quilting, sewing, crochet, unionizing, and talking to her many friends.
